Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition Reviews

Add mods and all the features from the pc version to this game. Also, yall klei developers needa focus on making dst stuff into mobile version aswell u needa make this game more lit cuz the mobile version seems well left behind.

Dont Starve is a challenging game. If you think Minecraft Survival got too easy, then you should get this. Its worth the $5.

We absolutely love Dont Starve on mobile. Its one of those games where you can play it for 10 minutes or 10 hours and still have a ton of fun.

We personally think this game is a great game in all so its not a waist of money so consider buying it.

We love Dont Starve, simple as that. Others here have pointed out bugs and glitches that yall are working on fixing. We’ve only written a review once before, and Im writing this one now to beg for you to include support for IPad keyboards. Being able to play DS with keyboard controls on our tablet would be unbelievably amazing. We hope the simplistic nature of our review doesnt overshadow the request, please include keyboard controls.

We hope the picture quality can be compatible with iPad pro 2021. The picture quality is not very good. We hope it can be improved.

Three of our worlds have exceeded 365 days. The most frustration we have is that we cant place items and plant plants in a consistent pattern. Computer versions have geometric alignment mods. We suggest adding that as a setting option on pocket edition.

Looked interesting at first, but we will not be tolerant of any depiction of cruelty to animals, no matter how subtle.

We love this game. We played the original beta for it on our old laptop many many years ago. We love that its on mobile. However every time we try to place gates or fences, Im given an error message and our game immediately crashes. When Im using a controller, the game gives us to option to plant the fences like the game thinks theyre pinecones or something. So theres something weird with it. Other people are experiencing this bug as well. We wanted to build walls around our base, but when we tried, it crashed and we lost a days worth of progress. Im not sure we want to play if we cant access some features due to crashing. Please fix this!

Love the gameplay very cool kinda die quickly sometimes which makes us scared of the dark kinda.

Ok so we bought a gift card just for this and we love it it took us a while to get the hang of it and when we did we played almost all the time we love survival games and this hit first thanks for taking your time making it love yall for it!!

We love how you can level up and have different chathers and you can fight ours and make stuff a perfect game to play.

Our friend plays on Xbox and we play on PlayStation so this would be the perfect platform to play with him!

We cant resist this gameand its a blast to play!

We downloaded this game in hope of being able to play with our friends but we dont see the multi player option in here. Will it be added soon?

Its not as good as Dont Starve Together (especially Wendy and Abigail) but its still pretty good. Except when you almost die to an invisible ewecus. And when pigs walk off the earth and onto the water and never come back. Yes, we said onto the water. Like Jesus. There also seems to be a rare glitch where making food turns straight into rot. Oh, and placing walls/fences is absolutely terrible. Also, our game crashed when we made frogs attack a lure plant. Probably a bad idea on our part but it was funny. Theres also a weird glitch when you die and respawn at the statue, your character just starts taking off in one direction. We also had a fire hound spawn in our first winter. Kinda strange. Also, when your weapon breaks, it doesnt replace the weapon even if you have the same kind in your inventory but itll do so good shovels/pickaxes/etc. Also, Abigail gets stuck offscreen all the time and theres no way to pull her aggro off of anything. We let her die if shes accidentally summoned and just throw the flowers at the spawn statue; thats how useless she is to us here. Also, our world had no totally normal trees and we had to spawn a tree guard for living logs. It utterly destroyed us. But great game :D love DST so this is good way to play when Im not home.

We gave this review one star in hopes that the developers fix the directional stick bug on the iPad. If the directional stick is above ANYTHING that prompts an action, the game priorities the action instead of controlling the directional stick. Its literally unplayable, as clich as it may sound. On the iPhone however, this problem doesnt exist (as far as we have tested it). Ill change this review to 5 stars as soon as this is replied to or they change the bug on their own. Oh and also, we’ve played 3 separate games with over 150 days, and still no boss appearance. Even on our 301 day account.

Why didn’t you move the rocker? It’s hard to operate, you know? We thought it was the version problem. We downloaded both versions, and they were exactly the same.

Died day 1 like 20 times in a row we suggest watching a guide.

Okay, first off, this game is great. The sanity mechanics are a little annoying, and we wish that the food restored a little bit more hunger, but its great! Can you please add some sort of metal other than gold so that you could build metal things? Iron? Copper? The decision is yours. Its amazing though. We like the art style and music. It makes it a little creepy, which makes every game better. Thanks for reading developers! Bye.

This is one of our favorite games we love the characters we love the challenge we love it all but can you make a dont starve hamlet mobile port please other than that great game over all.

We’ve been playing this for years. Played the entire game through on computer years ago when people were modding it, great fun!! Bought every edition at different times. Played it on steam. Play it on our phone. One low price to! Unlike phone apps with constant ads and pay to play. Nothing bad in it. Created our own world for more of an Alone type feel. Camping, breeding pigs, gardening, cooking, fires. Its like our own little world. We go on and check on our Buffalo and feed our pigs berries, sometimes we kill frogs (theres to many!) and we took out the monsters. No monsters! Ill never get tired of it!! Never!! You cant make us stop playing it!!!

Pros: Good art style It also has 2d which we really like! Lots of things to craft characters to choose from with various traits Its just good cons: Its good of a game Ps. This is our opinion.

We found this game through its bigger and well know dont starve together but now we can play the single player version on our phone simply fantastic.

Dont starve is a vary good game really fun but how do you play with friends like if we were to be able to play with friends in dont starve pocket edition it would make the game so much funnier please make it so you can play with friends.

We love this game. We were drawn here by the terraria crossover and decided to try it. Worth 5$ for sure. Incredible art style, monsters, gameplay, and characters. The only issue is that when we try to place a wooden gate, and ONLY this specific structure, our game crashes. Please fix this!

Dont starve is an amazing survival game. When playing, you often feel hopeless and lost. Almost every enemy is scary in its own way, even small things like spiders can be unsettling. Its extremely hard to find some materials and forces you to explore way more and go into different places. Even if youve played the game for a while, you can still find more and more interesting things in the world. Dont starve is a way more brutal and realistic game compared to a game like minecraft. It has seasons with different monsters appearing in each one, and weather that can actually affect you. If you want a good challenge, you should play this game.

We play this game so much and we recommend it if you like survival games.

We just wanna say, thank you so much for porting it to iPad! Our dad would never get us it on his computer! Anyways, we have some ideas for the game. Maybe, instead of porting dont starve together to iPad as a separate game, maybe you could add online multiplayer into the main game! Also, maybe you could add the DLC as in app purchases? Anyway, those are our suggestions for the game. It is so much fun!

We love this game. Everything about it.

Hi this game is very fun we just wish there was an online mode on it And Webber is our favorite character.

We love this game to death. But theres one problem, Im taming a beetle from day 1 and we found out theres no salt lick. We can be blind but its not in the tools tab and we checked every tab multiple times so if an employee sees this can they please put the salt lick in.

When we try to set the mode to no dawn it sends us an error code message.

Its missing one feature that most would want. We know there is xbox controller support, but Id really love a Playstation controller support. PS4 and PS5.

This game is super fun. The $5 is worth it.

Its just hard to place things like walls and stuff because theres no preview of placement.

This Game Is Brutal In The Best Way. It Is Very Fun And Full Of Items To Find, Craft, And Earn! We Have Been Entertained For Very Long And Im Still Not Bored!

If we can play with our friends that will be greatpls.

When we looked on fandom, all we heard about was this playable character that was always unlocked, so where is he? And and is he even there anymore? Its like he never existed for us but literally everybody else.
