This is a very fun game, but needs more dots. The following: – T Dot – Similar to the L dot, except you have match it in a T shape. – Switcher – It can be a dot color. Switch it on and multiple dots in the board turns that color, but not all of them. – Math Dot – It adds or subtracts dots. Matching it in 5 moves adds 5 moves. Not matching it causes it to subtract 5 dots. We hope you like these ideas.
Love this game but finished all levels and there have been no updates for ages. Very disappointed.
A great puzzle game, we are very addicted. Our only issue is very rarely one level will be extremely hard. Its only been like 2 levels out of the first 100, but when it happens its very annoying because the bonus items (like movable square, dot remover, etc.) are given out in extremely limited quantities and not impactful enough to help you pass the level. Which means when a level is hard youre basically screwed; your only option is to repeatedly play the same until a favorable combination of dots is presented, which can take 70 to 100 tries. Another issue is that sometimes it tells us we ran out of space after using a dot remover, even though we should have had another turn left. And the green and blue dots are a bit difficult to differentiate; we wish there was a color blind or patterned setting. Also, we wish on the bonus levels (the black question mark levels), there was a way to reveal or get a hint about the answer as we think it would help us learn the game strategy.
Update: Still no new levels for a very long time. Disappointed. Love this game but finished all levels and there have been no updates for ages. Very disappointed.
Challenging, interesting, fun puzzle game we could go on. HOWEVER, when the ad inevitably pops up (and the sound to our phone is on) we receive a BLAST of ad music! EVEN WHEN we turn off both the sound and music in the APP settings, the sound STILL comes through with the ads. Of course, we want to leave the sound to our phone on so we can receive alerts you know, texts, phone calls, other notifications. And, occasionally, we will play a game when on a call (eek!). But, when the ad music comes blaring through, we are diving to turn off the sound on the ad. Not attending to the ad! Annoyed with the ad. But, ho! We can go to our OTHER game apps that allow BOTH the game sounds and the game AD sounds to be turned off. Happy player! Glancing at the ad, noticing the ad, and not having to hear ANY of the ad sounds. Not annoyed, not turning off the game, and not going to another game that allows play without game sounds/music AND without ad music. We gave the game three stars with two stars off for this easy fix.
We dont understand why the game will end because Im out of space when there are still moves available. We could understand it if there werent actually spaces available, but if we plan to make a match in two moves, the game will suddenly end when we can clearly still see moves! Very frustrating.
This used to be our favorite game. We have a new device and have to watch ads to play the game. There are levels you cant win without buying cheats. Paid to remove ads but still have to view ads because there is no option to restore purchase. Sad that our favorite game has turned into a cash grab.
Theres nothing more annoying than paying once or even twice just to find even more levels after that require you to continually spend even more money to win.
We had this game years ago and came back to it a few weeks ago. It used to be a really fun, relaxing game but the ads between nearly every single level is just down right annoying! You used to be able to easily earn coins for boosters but it seems that has gone away (or at least somewhat) and the only way to get enough coins for boosters is to pay for them. If you dont mind 30 second ads for every 1-2 minutes of game time – give it a try.
Paid for boosts and completed all the levels on a different device. Purchased new iPad and had to start from from the beginning. Had to restart this and related games (Jewel Galaxy, Dotello Slide, etc.) from the beginning. Could not restore progress or purchases from the game Game Center. Disappointing.
Sufficiently difficult puzzles, infrequent ads, and no pestering to review. Cheers dev folks. You have a winner.
Dotello is a really engaging game that provides many hours of fun. There is definitely a point that you need to purchase coins to pass certain levels, but we have kept our purchases to a minimum. We really wish the game creators would add the ability to earn rewards so purchases werent required. Until then, Ill continue to play occasionally and enjoy the game! Thanks.
We have had glitches with this program for quite a while. There have been no updates in a long time. It freezes and closes out. Thought it was fixed because it was fine for week, however its back worse than ever. Developer states they played the level with no issues. We dont have problems with any other apps.
We love this game and have played it through once already, but on this second playthrough we have been stuck on level 272 for FOREVER. We have spent money on coin packs and dot removers and used ads to continue a million times and we cannot beat it. We dont remember anything like this the last time we played the game. Its getting really frustrating and we dont think its worth the challenge if you can never get past a certain point and it makes you want to throw your phone out of a window. Also, the new update for the new iPhones is bad….. We cant see how many lives or coins we have anymore so Im kind of flying blind. If yall could fix this soon we would add a star or two.
This game needs new levels and less ads. Id pay to own the game for no ads and more levels. Its a lot of fun.
Addictive game that evolves and continues to challenge with each level. It's one of the few games we've played to completion. UPDATE: after getting a new phone we loaded this app and started over. We cant believe how many ads there are now. Play for 30-60 seconds and you will be forced to watch at least one 30 second ad. This has crippled the game. Reduced rating from 5 stars.
We love these games (dottello, dotello slide, etc). However, critics are correct that you will very likely have to make purchases to advance to some levels. What Ive found useful is to (1) wait until a discount pops up, (2) make a purchase to remove the ads and (3) then spend the points on unlimited hearts Some draws from a particular level are easier to navigate through. Also, if you do need to purchase a particular tool, after playing a level a number of times in succession, youll know what tool you need and when to use it. We usually spend $10 to get 400 points and then buy 7 levels of unlimited hearts for 100 points. With luck that gets us thru 28 levels. The time we waste playing the game is irretrievable, alas. So you should really ignore our advice and take a walk or something instead of playing this game. :).
We must have played this level 100 times but we cant get past it. Im seriously considering deleting this otherwise clever and addictive puzzler, considering its impossible to advance past here.
One year later. Dotello retry. Still a fail. Previous Reviews: Removed Stars From five down to one star, because after playing this game for a few weeks, AND a few times of paying to "keep going" when we've spent time and thought on a level (but reach the max moves without solving), we think the devs are deliberately throwing in levels that are near-impassable in the number of moves allowed. Too bad, because it is really fun– until it's not. We're done. Previous Review: There's a lot of intrigue under the hood here… We get bored easily with games, but Dotello keeps our attention. Challenging? Yes, but not too hard. It has a fun combination of variety and successes. Tools are gradually introduced and levels can be replayed until you master the new tool. Also worth noting… Very visually appealing. Devs did a nice job of balancing colors, symbols, and patterns on every level.
We guess those who have gotten to the top have paid their way through. Level 285 is impossible, with some areas unable to even complete a match. Come on, we dont mind the ads and know you make decent money on an eCPM basis. Ive been with you guys before Gamezaur, communicating directly with Game Pocket Studio. They werent monetizing at the time. This level speaks pay us or you cant move forward. Fine, Ill stop playing altogether.
Atmospheric music and sound effects makes this game almost a form of meditation. Sometimes the less you think, the more you see. Amazing at how this game can be soothing and calming yet challenging and frustrating at the same time.
Fun until you get to a level that pretty much REQUIRES you to BUY coins for boosters. Hint: Save any that you get with free spins or you will get stuck on a level.
We paid to remove ads, and after awhile, the ads came back.

[Another EDIT] game was updated with new levels – thanks! But Oct 4 update causes app to crash. We open then it closes. Please help! [EDIT] Two months after our review asking for new levels, still nothing. Game hasn't been updated since March – 6 months. Downgrading to 1 star because we've basically given up on this game. [ORIGINAL] It's been months since the last update of this addictive game. It's definitely 5 stars, but for those of us who have been playing for a long time, the time between releases of new levels is way too long. Please put more time into the game; updates in the App Store means more people will download.
We have the app on our phone and we pad, but the levels don't line up. We have synced with Facebook on both devices. Please fix this.
We love this game. It challenges us and we stay at each level until we Have mastered it and received 3 stars.
We really don't mind ads in general, its a good way to get revenue, but still allow the app to be free. We even like the video ads, however the other ads are frequent and invasive. Its gets too annoying to play sometimes. Otherwise, fun game, simple interface. We like it.
We've been on level 116 for over a month. It appears to be an easy level but… We don't know what else to try. We're about to delete.
You get a new play every half hour & if you want more plays you have to buy them or pester your Facebook friends. There are better puzzle games out there.

Challenging game that keeps you on your toes.
We're not big on frenetic, frantic games with time limits and minimum scores… We enjoy the more relaxed games that let you think. Challenge your brain, not your reflexes. Or just play. You can just do your thing while your mind wanders. That works, too.
Great fun. Easy to play, very difficult to master. Great strategy, and the layout of the levels is nice; their difficulty is randomized, so you don't get frustrated as easily. #addicted.
Absolutely love this game, very addictive but give the 4 stars because it takes months to get a tiny update, we hate waiting this long for updates and a small one at that. We hope that they decide to start updating more frequently so you don't have to play the same levels over and over again. We have read that we don't seem to be the only one having issues with level 179, this has to be a glitch or something the level is not beatable without anymore orange dots generating!!! Please Fix.
Love this game, ads are annoying but acceptable, perfectly capable of beating every level without any in-app purchases, and we wish updates were more frequent. But with the latest update (to level 180), level 179 appears to be unbeatable, as another reviewer wrote. You need 30 orange dots but only 6 appear in the level. Even after collecting all of the required purple and brown dots, as well as the 6 available orange, no more orange appear. Is this a bug or am we just not understanding something.
Great game to fool around with, it does seem to come to a point where you can't advance without spending money so be careful there.
We play a lot of match three type games, and this one is unique. We're enjoying playing it a lot.
This is an amazing and challenging game while also being aesthetically beautiful. Watch out, though, because it has the ability to take you away from all of the necessities in life– laundry, work, and eating if you aren't careful! It's great fun — we just love it.

Awesome game, really fun and challenging and addictive, but the prices they charge for playing is shocking. We're talking $40 – $80 for unlimited play, otherwise every time you lose, you have to wait 30 odd minutes. It's just unreasonable.
Got excited at first, but this is just another pay to play scam. Gets impossible really fast, and unlike the ptp games we actually enjoy there's no way to make coins in game. Around every corner there's a trick to get you to accidentally spend coins, and when you run out of lives you have to wait five seconds before the x shows up, leaving you with pay to continue or ask friends to help. It's cheap and crummy. Honestly there's so many good ones out there that keep you hooked we don't see how the creators think they can get away with this without chasing players away. Don't waste your money, even buying coins is way more expensive than other, better games.
Actually, we think this is a great game. But you should know that it eventually becomes impossible to play without buying coins, and the coins are absurdly expensive. There is no way whatsoever to earn them. An example: a level in which 90% of the dots have pins, the pins spread, the pinned dots are uncolored so can only be taken out with a pin remover, and the only way to get a pin remover is to purchase one. Earlier on, we purchased a 10 dollar coin pack and it lasted – don't know exactly, a couple levels. Then we thought we'd just play without coins -until we got to levels that couldn't be solved without them. We got the 30 dollar pack, thinking it was outrageous, but justified if, with careful use, it would last many hours of game play. Nope – the further you get, the more they're required. Obviously the makers assume you will get "addicted" and keep buying – gross. We refuse. Delete.
Love this game, and the more challenging enigma levels too. Finished the game…would love an update.
We love puzzle and strategy games, and this one is beautifully done. We have wasted days of our life playing this game – only downside is updates are few and far between. More levels please.
