Spent a whole night playing this game. Sooo enjoyable!
Though not particularly intuitive, especially at the beginning. The first item needed to progress was – at least for us – pretty well camouflaged. Once we got going the game really moved along. Puzzles not terribly difficult, and action kept us interested. Ill no doubt check Dr. Stanley 2 before long?
When we find myself madly clicking on every screen trying to get something to happen, that’s a bad sign. Just a really poor interface… Do we actually have to select "Use item" to really use it? We might as well be playing interactive fiction. Navigating through rooms and trying to find exits is equally frustrating. We’re sorry, after playing Glitch titles and Meridian 157, the payoff here is really not worth it… Even with the plot twist at the end.
This is a good escape game and is definitely longer than most escape the room games.
We’ve just finished the 1st and 2nd game, so this review applies to both. At first glance, this series is outdated with a few grammar/spelling errors. It may seem tempting prematurely quit or pass on the game altogether. DON’T pass up on this fantastic game…. It’s a very good game! So good, that we didn’t even drop a star for the graphics and spelling. The puzzles are generally easy, but we did have to use a walk through once or twice for help. The plot is intriguing, and once you are in the house, the game becomes a lot of fun! The storyline that unfolds is brilliant, and we were thrilled to see the that a sequel (and a 3rd game) was available in the App Store. Get the entire series… You will not regret it!
In general we love most escaping and mystery games that have puzzles and surprises we enjoy this amazing app more than most of the other games it’s really a unique game.
Just the right mix of adventure, story, and suspense. Not hard enough to need a walk through, but still challenging enough to be fun.
We got messed up somewhere the first time so we started over and got to the end. It was actually a pretty good game. We’re glad we got to see the ending. We tried to follow an incorrect Walkthrough the first time.

This game is amazing! It took us an hour to finish, and we want more! We’re sooooooo getting the second one!
This is a super duper fun and mysterious by far in our top ten we have to admit we cheated a little bit and started over ALOT it’s literally a new clue around every corner and the ending AMAZING oh and don’t trust that old guy you find on the balcony.
In order to get in, you need to click a bunch of times around the car until u pick up a brown hook. We’re sure you can figure the rest out.
What do u do after ur in the house and have the gray and blue green keys.
How can u unlock the inside doors.
The folder located in the bathroom u must Examine the wall and put the statue in the right place and turn off the light in order to arrange the keys in the wall.

It may seem a little hard at first but once you get the hang of it, the game goes smoothly without any problems until the end. Good story. Good controls. Great game.
If you want a really tough room escape, this is not for you. Most of the time you are finding keys and such out in the open, with only a couple of true puzzles (Dr Stanley 2 has more things to puzzle out). You play this game for the look and the slightly demented story. The graphics are a simplified comic book style. It’s got great lines, collage-like movement (think South Park, with cutout characters moving around, but with an edgier graphic style). The story is just weird. In a good way. We went thru both Dr Stanley titles. There are twists and turns you kind of expect, but it doesn’t render the gameplay uninteresting. You just want to keep going. The only negative thing we could say is that the text was clearly not written by a native English speaker, and there are a bunch of typos. But, for us, this kind of added to its campy appeal. We recommend both Dr Stanley titles for some short, kind of weird fun.
This is a great and fun game. We played the second one and was sad that it ended so fast. Now we are one the first one and we cannot get back inside the house nor get around the dog that was let out. We keep giving him steaks and he still don’t leave! Can some please tell us how to get rid of the big black dog…
Help us please!!!!!!! We got to the living room n the bed room but how do we go to the door that is next to the big black dog we keep on having a feeling that that dog has to something about this game. We have played the 2nd one but not the first one. Help us please!!!!!!!!!!!! N how do get the silver key that looks like this or something like that.
For those, who dislike the music – simply put your phone music down or off. Nothing will ever scare you w/o the horrible sound. We see that many struggle in the very beginning, so here some hints for you to get it started. To get into the house – tap around the car to find the HOOK that will help you to get the PAPER PLANE from the tree if you go right. The paper plane has the code that you enter to get into the blue door (red thing next to the door). To get rid if the dog combine the plate with the steak while in the kitchen and combine the mix of a plate with a steak with the vine and give it to the dog. It will get asleep. To come back home, enter the code again. The phone wires are in the utility room. Keys are everywhere- little small things that you wont notice at once. We personally think that there is a lack if reasonable hints in this game. Tapping all over the screen to get some tools or keys is annoying and frustrating. So, 4 stars only.
At first we couldn’t even find things but by reading the things about it, we saw that it said hidden stuff. There should be a hint button to players that are new to the game.
Pretty fun, if you really liked this you should def try part 2! Part 2 is a lot more challenging but it’s so fun and creative!

We just got this game like 5 minutes ago and we thought there would be like an intro or hint button or something u kno? Anyway we had no problems figuring out how to get in the building but we’re at a part where there’s a phone but the wire isn’t equipped and we’re stuck please help someone! :/
This game is easy. We’ve just finished it in about 10 minute. A little bit thrilled but will be less if u turn off the sound. We’ll give some hint for u if u like: -tap the car outside, somewhere under it to get the hook -tap the arrow to move to the tree -tap the top of the tree,use hook to get the piece of paper, use the paper get the password to enter the door next to the car. -inside u just tap any door to open (if it opened) and try to find the key to open other doors (pay atention on corners,edges of objects), there 7 with colors and 1 silver key. -remember to pick some strange object on the floor or on table,if something useful the game will zoom in it and still zoom in until u done using them. (Try lighter for candle,meat,wine,plate for dog, statue,diary,cup and water,wire for phone) -there’s a swich to turn off the light in the room behind orange door,after get the password from diary and put the statue in the hole,use the swich and u will know which color of 7 keys need to put in the hole. -get the folder to the oldman and use it, get down on the gray door use the wire to use the phone. Then… OMG and try next version if u interested.

Us and our friend started playing this, she was good at games like this, and it scared us into running from it and hiding from the app. This would be a good app for people who aren’t scared and surprised easily with disgusting stuff.

We’re sorry, but this is a TOTAL waste of time. Why am we here? Who’s house is this? What’s going on? Why am we trying to find tucked-away, random, obscure, senseless objects – 90% of which are keys? In a nutshell: What is our motivation – as a player – to keep tapping on every pixel of screen because the game provides ZERO direction on what we’re supposed to be doing or why. & then Voila! We tapped a certain group of pixels & some random unexplainable senseless thing happened that makes no sense & fills us with even more reason to click our Home button, tap on the App Store & leave this poor yet truthful review. Free or not, we recommend you not waste your time. Unless you like tapping around for no reason. If that’s the case, then tap around on this page everywhere & then finally tap "Download". You’ve just experienced everything this game has to offer except that tapping "Download" does exactly as you’d expect.
First of all : Francianlove ; you put wine on the steak to make the dog sleepy. Second of all : unless you want to be scared, don’t get this game! We guess it was sort of good, but at one point in the game, you come upon a dead man on the floor! It scared us to death!! We almost jumped out of our skin! Plus the whole time, there is this creep trying to kill you. Anyway, the point is that if you are easily scared, then this is not the game for you.
