First of all, don’t complain about the in-app purchase. The game is designed in such a way that you can always play free (with some patience) so why making fuzz about in-app purchase that will make the whole development group a slightly better day?! Every original game should have the right to charge $. If you don’t want to support by $ then at least shut up about this option. We do enjoy this series very much and love that you don’t actually have any clear instructions on next step. It really involves your curiosity and focus in this game . Yes it is hard, and yes you get stuck frequentlybut there is no double about the unique pleasure this game brings that other puzzle games fail to.
This was indeed one of the best escape game series we have ever played, we are looking forward to more.
Great storyline – this game is awesome. Its a puzzle, an adventure and an emotionally compelling story all rolled into one. We played it several times due to the hidden secrets that are cleverly hidden throughout the game which unlock only after you play the game successfully through once. We loved it. One of the best adventures available in the app store hands down.
Out of all three Dr Stanley games, this one is our favorite. This storyline is great and the puzzle wasnt that difficult! The ending made us feel really happy seeing Stanley and Robbie together and the mechanical hand is also safe! We would like another game if possible. Also to those complaining about Robbies batteries, you couldve just waited 20 minutes instead of restarting the game. Those who dont know the crystal ball code: Its the birthday card Dr Stanley gave to Robbie. You just have to subtract 3 from the year cause theres three candles on the cake.
We played Dr. Stanley’s House 1, 2, and 3. We must say the games got progressively better. We hated the 1st one, found the 2nd one okay, and loved the 3rd! This last one is a lot more complex. It takes a while to get the hang of it. To be honest, we found a walkthrough on YouTube. We always use walkthroughs when we’re stuck si this was no different. The robot’s battery does drain after 20 minutes. All you need to do is take a 20 minute break and then you can continue for free. The storyline is very interesting, except for the ending which was a little weird. We didn’t get a tool at the end like another user mentioned. We definitely recommend this game!
Absolutely great game! But we’ve been trying nightly for months on how to get this last puzzle of figuring out the memory. From other reviews we know there is a statue somewhere, assuming the one from the photo, but cannot find how to get it anywhere. Even the clue of using the scanner thing in the architects room, we tried using it on every single part in both sides of the room and nothing. Im completely lost and theres no other answers or clues anywhere. Please help!
There’s not enough information at the end of the game to determine what to do. We have a flower, a spider, a crystal ball, and a couple of magazines, but we don’t get how any of that helps us. The clues in-game are so vague by game’s end.
Dr. Stanleys house 3 when it was first released in 2014 was an amazing point and click adventure. The thing that made it good was nobody had a guide for it. Not on YouTube or anywhere. In march 2015 a full guide came out on Appunwrapper in the comments. We had to play this game with no help. It was hard. We actually thought the last puzzle was a glitch, until a other reviewer on the app said it wasen’t. We went back and finally found it and beat the game. We loved the secrets, though the last 2 was insanely hard to find and we almost became the first person to find it, but unfortunately Jack found the memory recorder and secret of Robbie first. We loved the story, secrets, and got all the badges in it, besides beating it in under 10 minutes. We thought it was a great game to conclude the series, and James li and his team did a good job. We did find it questionable though that there is no full PC version and only on mobile, considering the previous titles were flash games. However the entire app was tarnished with the Jan 2016 update, which included microtransactions. Why Li why. As a game developer who used to come from free content (flash games) why would you do this. It incredibly discourages new players to the game and potential people who want to buy your upcoming projects. Yes you can beat the game in under 10 minutes and you did release a guide for it, but keep in mind a new player will have to watch the guide and play too, either switching or on 2 devices. Even if we can beat the game easily in the time limit, because we played the game before the update, it does not make it okay. 5/5 for Original, 2/5 for Jan 2016 update.
Loved this game, until we couldn’t complete it because the crystal ball code did not work. We restarted the game and played it through again, yet still no luck.
What a joke, pay for battery life to continue, really?! Waste of download time.
Downloaded the game and it won’t play (shows loading screen loading but never moves after that making game play impossible). Got exactly what we paid for.
Even with the full version they make you pay more, otherwise Robbie’s battery runs out and you have to start over.
Beautiful game, wonderful music, cute robot, hard puzzles, no hints! Hints as follows: -clean marque- put above middle door on the bridge -code- birthday minus # of candles in the image -architect room- second play through, hold crystal to tv -getting out of architect room- use photo on scanner -memories- cap, song, statue, pills -statue- use space scanner on indicated area from architect room, sweeping through until you get it Best of luck!
Update: Once we completed the game, the game awarded us with another tool. We started a new game, and had the new tool to use. It allowed us to find several new rooms and another new tool–which we don’t know what to do with yet. We think you could enjoy this game over and over, because there’s something new when you replay. In fact, the 2nd time around is more fun, because we know our way around the entire ship now. We have now finished HARD mode. The only real difference is that your inventory only has 3 slots, so you have to manage your tools a bit better. We still have not been able to make the memory recorder, or discover Robbie’s secret. You do not have to complete those to complete the game, though. Those are only for badges (achievements). (End of update) we found this game because we were looking for escape games. We would categorize this as an adventure game for sure. It has a plot, and an entire spaceship to explore. We almost didn’t buy the whole version. What sold us was the absolutely adorable little robot. This game is not easy, even on easy mode. It doesn’t hold your hand or give hints. YOU have to explore and discover. But it can be done. And you will LOVE it, if you have patience and persevere. We are going to play again in hopes of earning some of the badges (achievements) available. We think we’ll stay on easy mode though.

This game even in easy mode is near impossible. There is no help available from developer.
Great scene, great story, the robot is so cute. We played twice! When we find some clues mentioned this series of 1 and 2, we feel very excited!
We normally don’t pay for games, we pick up free ones. But we really enjoyed Dr. Stanley’s House 1 and 2, so we figured this would be good. The graphics are much better than the first two games, which was a nice surprise. The setting is much different ( you are on a space ship) which we thought was a welcome change of pace. We’re pretty far in the game and so far we love how the story is unraveling. Just like in the first two, there is an element of mystery and you are trying to piece everything together. All in all, we’re very impressed with the game, and we definitely think it’s worth the $2.99 we paid.
Very fun game! We saw there is a 3 star rating said there is a glitch on a code. Actually there is no glitch, just think a little differently and think more about the picture. We have worked it out! Hope you all have fun !!!
