Amazing game sooo addictive! Cant stop playing it.
Ive been playing this game for years now. For probably about 5 years Ive been playing this game. We really love it for a number of reasons. But we have a lot of issues with it as well. The following are several of the biggest issues we have with this game, and forgive our wordy paragraphs or game lingo but this is from the perspective of someone who knows this game better than the developers… There are very little updates or improvements to the game. Gaea has been a bit better about it recently but its still hardly enough to keep people interested. Its near impossible to address Gaea directly with issues and concerns without being brushed off. And even the moderators and reps they have for addressing player concerns have little power to do anything besides being a painful middleman. Gaea seems to actually not understand their game in any way whatsoever. Not only do they not understand the baseline mechanics if the game, they continue to add new content that is just a reskinned cash-grab of another mechanic. Ex: the totem system is just a copy of the sprinite system and the general system. Not only are these systems borderline useless because of diminishing returns (a concept Gaea seems to not understand) they also out date older mechanics (like the water dragons passive buff to fangtooth range, which used to be super powerful, now its useless because of sprinites) This brings us to our next issue: balancing. Gaea keeps introducing new powerful mechanics that either make old ones less potent, or make others way too potent. And Gaea doesnt bother trying to balance it. For example, the great dragon has a skill that prevents it from taking more than 10% of its health per round in a battle. Which is already by far the most ever powered skill in the game, then they increased the level cap of all dragons from 50 to 80, this is insane as dragons stats increase almost exponentially as they level up. So now this dragon that was already incredibly powerful before, is now the only dragon worth using especially in Arena. And Gaea doesnt bother nerfing the Great Dragon or buffing other dragons. So essentially Gaea doesnt know how to address power-creep. Gaea has done a poor job of addressing players concerns as well. And we mean that on less of an individual level and more on a wide scale. We have played in many realms but the realm we currently play in has taken YEARS to get to where it currently is and it STILL does not have access to tons of content and mechanics that older realms have had since day one. Its been months since the last mechanic was unlocked for us and we still have dozens to go. Plus we get the same 5 or six tournaments with the same awful rewards that weve had for over a year. And we understand slowly developing a realm both for the economy of making as much profit off of certain systems and to allow players to develop, but Gaea takes it to a whole new level. Its making long time players quit and new players dont even want to start. And speaking of new players, there are hardly any. Most of the people in game are long time veterans who have been playing for years, such as ourselves. And though we try to help and nurture new players as best as we can, Gaea makes it hard for new players to even begin to catch up. Daily rewards and prizes are pathetic even to people who place 1st place in tournaments and events, youd have to win 1st place in THIRTY tournaments in our realm to be able to have enough of one type of troop to send a full march. Thirty. A new player can consider themselves lucky to place top 50. Gaea pushes players to spend so hard that nobody wants to even try to play this game. The deals for rubies (in game premium currency) are expensive and the things you can buy are equally so. Gaea makes it hard to be a casual free to play player and barely rewards spenders (even really big spenders) That is probably one of our biggest issues. The prices Gaea thinks things are worth. You have to pay literally hundreds (yes hundreds) of (US) dollars for a CHANCE to get certain rare items. Things like legendary generals, Masters Potions, Deep Purple Nebula, etc. And these items are literally impossible to get for non-spenders because the opportunities to get them are rare and the chances to get them are low. Speaking of chances, Gaea doesnt even tell you what the chance of getting these items are, you literally dont know your odds of winning a rare item from a loot box is. Which actually violates both the App Stores and the Google Playstores terms of service as of 2017. Its bad business and its bad for the longevity of the game. The way we see it, if we spend $100 dollars on something in game, we better get it. Gaea seems to disagree. Gaea really does treat its players like money bags to be milked for all they got to be able to play this game. Dont get us wrong though, we love this game, the actual gameplay is fun and interesting. And it has many aspects to enjoy. But Gaea really needs to step up their game if they wanna see it continue.
It was fun to play till started getin farmed everyday we even warped away but these ppl use waazee app we think thats what its call they should get banned for using that app whats the sense in tryin to sell us charted warps if they type our name and boom know where we are.
Gaea since buying this app have done everything possible wrong, from selling loot crates and taking what you paid for out of your account, (stealing from spenders) to customer service saying you hacked the box to get items they listed in the box, to its an unfair advantage to spend so they had to even it a little. Taking gens and telling you that you fed them to you dragon on such and such date, something the game doesnt allow or have in game. They need a complete overhaul of customer service or for Apple to revoke them from the App Store.
Bugs galore. Social media people and whole cs needs replaced.
Gaea has the worst customer service of any online game company out there. All they want is your money.
ITS A NEW REALM FRIENDLY TO ALL AND VERY GOOD FOR GROWING AND LEARNING. English realm and fun for all players.
This game is not for everyone they need to change it a lot of the things said on this game is not for kids mostly all adults play this game also we have never in our life seen a game mostly played by adults like this one where u get reported and banned for speaking the truth.

Came here expecting and hoping it to be exactly like the browser game but with a few extra features. Now, the layouts different, the art style is goofy, setting is boringthis is a major disappointment and let down after years of loving the browser game.
Ive been playing Doa since the original browser version. Rapid deployment was there since the beginning and you removed it for no reason and have been feeding us the lie of it was a bug That research was around since before you bought the game and really shows that you have no idea how any of it works. Why fix something that wasnt broken instead of the countless in game bugs, terribly unhelpful cs and stop adding new things to the game until everything else is fixed. It just breaks it more.
We are incredibly upset because of the shutdown, we really want more than anything to play the original again. If you made an exact copy of that game here, Id be more than thrilled.
How many of you played this game on kabam or rockyou and put money into it for them to delete it and sell this game to gaea and they said its not the same game but totally is so all the people who put money and time into that game now have to start again with nothing we want we our stuff that we paid and worked for.
Very little of its ingame currancy is given out and it is extremely easy to accidently spend what little is given.
Ive been playing DOA since they launched as a Facebook game years ago. We were addicted to that game as well but due to apps becoming easier for game play, the Facebook version was loosing steam and players seemed to abandon it. Very upsetting but we can understand. The Facebook version also had a lot of issues of gameplay that seem to be fixed in the app. The app is much more complex in areas and simpler in others areas. We will say we liked the Facebook Dragon animation much better. They were a lot cutter and more unique. The one problem we have with this game is that we dont ever feel tempted to buy anything with real money. Which we know is a problem for the app because they need money. Perhaps if they had more customizable options for the dragons or something, we dont know. Or Super Flash sales where the deal is so good and cheap that its impossible not to purchase. We only say this because we really love this game and want it to stay around since we lost the FB version. Please stay around, we play everyday.
Just downloaded the game and sadly it doesnt work it starts just fine but then it freezes.
Two weeks wasted building our might up and the app crashes and everything is wiped out. Out the window with you guys.
The game is designed solely for those making in-app purchases of rubies. Unless you plan to pay, give this one a pass. If you buy in, the rubies will keep you way ahead of people who won 't pay and the tournaments of power keep it that way.
Finding new players to join your guild/alliance is very elusive. Need automatic player dispersement to new alliances for better balance.
The game is great but why is there no English hard-core realms. We waited for one to open up and it doesnt look like there going to be one. That not fair to the USA player who cant read or talk to other players because we cant use that language.
This game is good as Gaea has introduced new realm so people just beginning have a chance. Unlike a lot of previous reviews we see we figure if your not gonna spend then join an alliance that can help you. We would recommend at least trying it out.
Back in the day we had a lot of stuff on this game but then we deleted the game cause of this other game we wanted. So now we downloaded the game back and now our saved game is deleted. We have to restart . We wish our saved data was back we will really appreciate it. Thanks.
We been waiting to start a new realm so we can play serious but it have been months apparently since a new realm was done many people waiting too when its a new realm coming.
The support team is terrible finding any and all ways to work out of helping out a player and a customer, terrible support team but a decent game, would not recommend.
Its fun until your buildings require Obsidian which is difficult or impossible to obtain without paying.
Gaea creates new games but they are all same, might gain, troop kill, token spins, same boring events, etc. U need to spend $$$ to get good gears for heroes n might. Our hero is crap n we cant attack other big players :( The server Im in isnt competitive. A lot of our friends left. Im done with this game.
This game is literally the worst classic game ever. One minute you farm millions of res and head off to bed the next min someone storms your castle with 65,000 troops and wipes out all of your treasury… Now you wasted hours of farming inactive players just so that 1 wallet warrior that buys every single troop chest can raid you in a split second.
We love the game but whats the point of the red porters? Theyre exactly the same as the original but 80% slower. At least make them carry like 100 or so more loot so it balances out cause otherwise theyre useless.
We like it so far, but…the new dragons are only in hardcore. We can understand that but there isnt an English hardcore realm. Unless you will add one, can the new dragons be available in all realms? Including general.
Game is having massive loading issues. Cant play.
There is no new worlds being set up for new players. There is absolutely no way for a new player to compete. There are other games that are set up to allow new players, stay with those. If they would build new worlds this would be an awesome game.
Is game is good but u have to buy gems and everything we got rip off we spend 20 $ on is game and we dont have gems we buying.
This is a great game so far. But there is one problem overall. For the quest build another quarry all the other resource building quests have used up all the areas. We have no room to complete this quest and it is getting quite annoying to have it stuck in the quest log.

Money pit game with no incentive. Players who pay may grow faster but that is all there is. PvP is boring. You spend most your time farming resources to grow but grow too big and not in the top 3 guilds, your instantly a target for constant farming unless you pay for shields.
This game has more glitches and we can count And all of the sudden March time has doubled?! Game runners, please fix! Updated, September 2017, please please change the battleground back to zero animation It's pointless and takes FOREVER! So stupid.
Ok first off, this game does try to get you to use money, but if you can wait you can completely ignore its lure, even now cause trust us, it's been worse.
We're very upset that the toxic dragon doesn't have an island. THIS DOES'NT MAKE ANY SENSE!! Please fix this please please please! Otherwise we love it and it's so addicting.
The game itself is fun. But in order to get anywhere you have to spend money. And when you do spend your money to buy in game currency called rubies, pop up come up and if you accidentally click it, while you are trying to click something else it will debit your currency. And the pop up are for useless items. It ticks us off because the pop ups are perfectly timed. Coincidence, we don't think so. Also after spending money, we no longer received pay outs or the bonus items for reaching certain levels. We have emailed customer service and they 1. Act ignorant of the issue, even though there are threads on their website detailing this problem for many people 2. Tell us to change our browser, refresh our screen, update the game and so on. The problem is not on our end. If that had actually worked would we still be putting in tickets every other day. 3. Delete our help tickets- seriously, they delete our tickets. They send us an email saying this ticket is the same issue you had for the last ticket so we are deleting it. 4. We get a snotty answer saying the level up rewards are optional at their discretion. Really, the. Why does it detail exactly what we will get when we level up and how many rubies(in game currency) it is worth. It doesn't say anywhere you may or may not get these items or part of the items or no items at all. We are very disappointed with this game. We like playing it. It is fun but we have been cheated out of so many items we are not sure we will continue to play. We actually wish we had never started playing in the first place. We have made game friends and it will be hard to just stop playing but that is the direction this is going. Shame on you kabam for treating your customers like piggy banks and letting your customer service be so rude.

We're happy with how you play it is nice it gives new feel and love the look of the dragons.
The game is awesome! The only down side is to have to collect to many peaces to obtain other dragon eggs. We can see collecting 100 peaces of metierial for a more cooler and powerful dragon or add on the numbers to collect for further dragons. We rarely get the items we need to obtain our second dragon so we created so many accounts we can't keep up.
The game is terrible. There are multiple "glitches" that cost players significant money. The last we experienced was a complete loss of troops. Customer service is completely non-responsive – we emailed them 3 months ago for assistance and about every 3-4 weeks they ask for new information about the issue. Coupling this with the frequent disappearance of purchased items in the game we suggest you avoid it. The purchase of the Company by Gaea has made the situation much worse.
This game is our all time favorite! There is no cyber bullying and no pay to win, just be dedicated and patient with your troops amd everything is great! Im an emperor in our magical empire after years of playing this game. We love it so much.
No idea what's going on, but the game has been very glitchy for the past few days. Also, long periods where you aren't able to log in at all.
If you don't mind putting in hours of work, only to have some jerk come along and smash all of it…Fun,yeah, right.. So is a root canal.
Obtaining the crests for other dragons is now possible in this realm, and according to the game getting the armor for these dragons should be too. But by attacking Grodz Lvl. 10, we only obtain Great Dragon Armor, which we no longer need. It says we can obtain Water Dragon armor and Nightshade Armor from the campaign as we did with our Great Dragon, but when we actually enter the campaign, it isn't listed as bounty and we never actually receive any of the new armor. Is this ever going to be fixed? We've looked up and tried every tip possible, and nothing has worked. We already spent money on rubies, we're not going to continue to cash in on this game if the most basic things won't be fixed. We're on the Herodotus Realm. If it says we can get the armor from attacking the campaign, we expect to get the armor from doing that. It's that simple.
