Good game just wish it was longer.
This game was long, very long, and so hard! We could not stop playing it. And the best thing about this game, other than it being awesome, its free! Love it.
The further we get, the more often it crashes. We can't do anything at this point. Some puzzles aren't correct so it forces you to want to buy coins to get hints. Many do not make sense. Frustrated.
Should be called Escape from Crashtown: Attack of the Ads. Because of how often this app crashes when you play it and ask for hints. Story is convoluted and puzzles unintuitive.
Except decent graphics there is nothing to like about this game. Endless game with the only goal – to make user watch as many endless ads as possible beyond reasonable. The plot is convoluted, english translation is ridiculous. Avoid.
Great game but Im not sure why it stopped as soon as we made it to chapter 8. Idk if thats the ending or not but doesnt really explain. Other than that its a wonderful game for the brain. It keeps you thinking in solving riddles and puzzles. The Ads are not that bad and the coins help you out when some of the items are really hidden. Great game though.
Anyone else having an issue where theres no sound? IPhone 11 running v14.7.1. Let us know how to fix this, and/or if you need more information. Chris.
We wouldnt give it such a bad rating if the ads werent ridiculous. We cant do anything within the span of 20 seconds without ads popping up. Some of the puzzles seems almost impossible to solve and or seem out of order. It went from being fun to kind of challenging to plain boring and frustrating come the end of the game. * Not to mention the hints or help section seems to only want to help you solve the puzzles youve already solved. If you havent solved any yet- it just highlights a plain in sight item for you to collect and to get more help you have to watch ads. To solve actual puzzles you have to watch at least 3 – 4 ads in order to skip it which is why both the excessive ads and the broken|excessive puzzles are very annoying and get frustrating really quick. From the very beginning we noticed a flaw in the translations but it didnt really seem too bad and for the most part we didnt really mind. But coming towards the middle/end some parts started to become in-cohesive (non understandable) for entire scenes. Also Taylor or Tylers name kept changing. Some of the dialogue between different characters who werent the doctor, Taylor, or the main character werent really recorded well. Lots of times it was labeled under Taylors heading making it seem as if he said it. It was kind of confusing. Also a very few things werent even ever translated at all. The game seemed fun in the beginning and we were really enjoying the story until we could no longer tell what was going on and the puzzles became excessive.
The recent update fixed the immediate crashing issue, awesome! If you like point and click escape room games with a plot, this is one of the best free games you can find(along with rusty lake). The same developer has other great games too. The hotel escape room game is also amazing.
Our only complaint is that sometimes the text is too long for the text box and there is no way to scroll, so you dont get to finish reading what was said. We will say for a free app, Im extremely impressed. There arent constant ads, the art is amazing, the puzzles are great, and even tho we don't think the game is finished, its great in length and story telling.
For a free game, this was fun and challenging at times. The ads werent too bothersome and the English translation dialogue was very entertaining. Sometimes we had difficulties solving something due to how things were titled, but it really only added to its charm. Thanks for a fun game.

The story is kind of fun. A lot of dialogue, but doesnt hurt playing the game. BIG problem is that buying clues creates constant advertising. Ads are a big problem.
Whenever we dont have Wi-Fi we always play this game it is so much fun it feels like youre in an actual escape room.

Im enjoying the game, but we do have one issue thats annoying. We bought one of the packs of hints, not the smallest one, but the next one up. We did it to both support the developers because we believe its only right to do so. But, also, we did it to get rid of ads. It hasnt. They are long and frequent intrusive ads. Granted, it doesnt specifically say that the ads will be gone when you buy a pack of hints, there isnt anywhere we can find to purchase an ad free experience for this game. However, usually when one buys a hint package, that stops the ads. So, we like the game, but Im disappointed we having to sit through the ads. Im not sure how long Ill keep playing. Note to the developers: you should addresss this, there are lots of gamers who will not play games if they cant get rid of ads.
Generally a pretty good game, it went beyond our expectations for it. Translation gets poor later on, storyline gets worse over time, the puzzles get a bit unreasonable at some points, controls can sometimes be janky, but otherwise its beautifully drawn and designed throughout, creative and challenging puzzles, and certainly a very creative storyline, for better or worse. Make sure to have a guide, youll need it. Id say its probably worth the time, certainly worth the $0 price tag, and id generally reccomend it. Would be 5 stars if not for the translation issues, confusing storyline, janky controls, and lack of intense boss music, because it has great puzzles, challenging connections, great art and very few ads.
Cant get past the billiard puzzle because the balls wont highlight for us. Its not responding to our finger at all. Im playing on IPhone 13 Pro with IOS 16.0.2. Please fix.
We were playing the game working through the boat and we get to a part and get stuck so we ask for a hint and it tells us to pour the wine into the empty cup we look through our items and we dont have any wine we look back at the hint to see if it says where to find the wine and theres nothing there. Every thing else about the game is amazing and if there wasnt that one thing we would give this five stars.
The game is very entertaining, we found ourselves challenged and enjoying the game play immensely. Our only criticisms with the game is that not everything is put in English so that we could completely understand all things and we found that at times we were forced to use the hint only to find that it was something we had tried but couldnt do until after we used the hint. This aside we will play again as well as recommend to others.
Soft-locked after an advertisement popped up and the potion is no longer on the surface to collect. Crazy amount of ad popping up.
As others have mentioned there are some parts of this game that are difficult to control and some that are just broken. There is a dominoes game where you have to place dominoes into the right slots while considering numerical values written on the side, but the UI outright rejects some of the placements even though theyre valid, so we had to watch ads to skip. Other times there were items we had to pick up along the way that were unreasonably difficult to spot; we had to resort to tapping everywhere on the screen when we got stuck at some parts and only then could we get through. Adds some frustration for sure.
We love puzzle games, though we feel mixed on this one. It has beautiful backgrounds and many clever puzzles, but the translation is clunky and unnatural. Not only is the dialogue off, but this may impact some of the puzzles too, so keep a guide handy. What made us quit this one is a memory puzzle near the end. Youre supposed to press the right tiles before the time runs out. Problem is, it resets the pattern every time so you cant memorize it in time! We got so frustrated we just uninstalled it. Its a shame.
Most of it was fun, some of the puzzles were a little bit of a stretch to solve, like on one with x, y coordinates the x and y were switched, and some of the Roman numerals were a bit of stretch to find. We would also like another chapter. Because Ive read Lovecraft and Id love to see his further descent into madness. Shadow over Innsmouth, and one of the most iconic stories and would love to see it finished.
Generally, the game is really fun. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CHAPTER 8. Ive looked up tutorials of how to do the final puzzle and it is literally impossible for us. Its just connect the dots to redraw the pattern it showed you. The first redraw is a star and it wont let you draw it out. First off the starting point is too high so you end up just pulling down your own menu. If you manage to get that, it doesnt matter how you draw it, you fail. If you try and connect all the dots while making the shape, the tracing line starts to follow your finger and you cant ever complete the shape. Even if you just draw the shape and ignore the active tracing line you fail. If you just connect the end point targets you fail If you only touch each of the point targets once while still making the shape you fail.
Beautiful game, but cant recommend in current state. Id give it a 5, but unfortunately there are several broken puzzles. The clues just dont match the answer. And in this genre, that basically makes the game unplayable. It halts all gameplay until you either pay for the answer or look it up online. For example, in chapter 5, you need to enter a sequence of colors, and theres a clue that says Blue-> Orange -> Yellow -> Red -> Green. But thats not the correct answer. The correct answer is that same sequence with Purple at the end. Where did the Purple come from? Nobody knows. Any other escape game we.
Game is extremely fun but the amount of ads that pop up every single time u solve a puzzle after awhile u dont wanna play it bc of the ads constantly popping up.
We really liked the game but Ive kept having to delete and reload because we get to spots and things in inventory start disappearing and we cant play without them. Frustrating please fix these bugs.
Its a fun game but out of nowhere in the red room the puzzle requiring 5 colored levels be set to get the 4 th weight . Problem is the clue either isnt correct or the puzzle is stuck cause Im not getting any weight . So Im stuck.
We enjoyed the game, but the ads are way to frequent and it takes all of the fun out of the game.
We mixed up the ingredients in the cave and it glitched and it didnt save in our inventory so we cant go any further in the game.
We enjoyed this game for the first 5 minutes but after that there was an ad every minute or less. We get games need to make money & advertising is a way to do that but when we go from one room to the next & theres an ad then another ad literally a second later when we go into a 2nd room, thats too much. We uninstalled it.
Cant solve the grid with the numbers in the control room in the Sub, no idea how to enter the number sequence on the grid, so Im stuck.

This game is fun but the puzzle in the red room called unexplained machine wont let us put it in the right answer. We got the tip and everything it just wont let us click it 4 times.
Im having trouble with the weights cant get the blue one help.
Its a decent little puzzle game, but in chapter four there is a puzzle you cant complete. Theres a machine with these 5 colored lines you have to tap to change the level but the one that needs to go to 4 only goes up to three. Ive tried everything but it doesnt work. So Ive invested all this time watching the tons of ads that constantly pop up for nothing. We guess no one actually played through the game to make sure it actually works, which is pretty ridiculous. Fix the problem and Ill happily change our review, but until then cannot recommend.
It doesnt allow you to place the reagents at the right level to move the story forward. Played for a while but completely bugged here and now unplayable.
Cant get the blue weight. The lines wont allow placement as the hint says. It skips the first level which it needs to move on.
We really like your game but Im having trouble with the line chart in chapter 3. Thank you.
