Came back after a decently long hiatus. Plays just like we remember it. Wish some of the daily/weekly tasks and other little things could be automated more without buying the monthly packs but thats modern Gachas for ya Play and pay responsibly yall.
Been playing this game since launch and theres been a huge improvement in the details and designs of clothes and accessories. Theres a huge community that Ive made friends in and a seemingly endless supply of new ideas and themes. Dont think Ill end up quitting anytime soon.
Hey there! We Loved the games customization and amount of dialogue since they actually have a lot more then what average simulators had. HoweverI have had horrible issue with the NP. Np basically is the other type of currency (that you can get by money or completing outside game tasks). For us, the tapjoy doesnt work well for us. It lags, it doesnt keep accurate time of how much tasks we finish, and often thinks we didnt even start anything yet. We really find ads annoying but if you added a part in the game about watching a 10-30 second ad for like 1-5 idk no we think it would be nice.

Happy 9 year anniversary! This is the best Dressup game Ive ever played, the outfits and scenarios are fun, we wouldnt consider it a dating sim but you can date and experience scenarios with your girlfriends. We loooove collecting the outfits and dressing up our Dolls, most players are female and also playing as a dressup game haha <3.
We just want to say we absolutely adore this game for the large amount of cute customizations it has for our girls! <3 BUT its insanely unfair for new players like ourselves to see most faces unavailable to obtain just because were not older players. Its odd to not allow players to buy limited faces and force them to wait however long for it to be available instead of just letting us by it with our NP since most, if not all faces we want, CAME from past events. We just think punishing players for missing events for whatever reason (whether its because we didnt have the money at the time, being a new player, etc.) is a really big issue thats hard to ignore.
Im just trying our luck with this game to see what the game will do and what it can mean and we hope you enjoy this new version.
We still love this game back when it was released and Im not crazy addicted. There is a lot of pay to win or grind but the girls and outfits in general are so cute! We come to use the fashion as inspiration when Im drawing and we like the voices its kinda fun to tap and see the different personalities but its a grind for sure! We love this game though.
We accidentally opened it in an area without any service and it crashed but once we left the area, it still wont load up. Please help.
We cant believe this game has below 1,000 reviews. We would describe this as a hidden gem in the dirt pile. Dont get us wrong, we do have a few complaints when it comes to dream girlfriend. Definitely more pros than there are cons though. Ive been a big fan of the ambition developer team since we were in middle school. We played moe can change for a long time. We would check the games they released every single day to see if something new came out. Moe can change was good but we knew the team had the talent to make something similar but even better than any of their other games before. Dream girlfriend was released and we downloaded it the same day. After a few days of deleting characters to start from the beginning making a new girl we were finally happy with what we made. Ive been playing on & off throughout the years ever since. From skin colors to personalities to zodiacs, your girlfriend is very customizable compared to other games in the same app genre. Thats not even including the years worth of clothing options you can unlock through a few different ways including gachas and events. Our only complaint is the pay to play feature. We understand the developers have to make money off of it somehow 100% get that, its just the fact that you can pay your way into leveling up quick. We wish the pay feature didnt included the items shop only accessing special outfits and accessories. It feels weird that Ive been playing for eight years with only four girls but our friend on the game has been playing for three and has seven. We also wish there were a work option to earn np instead of only coins. You could make it take double the time it would to make coins though make like 400 np in 16 hours or something like that. Either way its still a good game we really enjoy it.
Ive been playing on and off since 2017 and to be F2P is really a grind to get anything good in the first couple months. But its great how ambition kept old gachas up to be able to have a chance to win past outfits. But we see how the P2U options can seem very overwhelming. Probably its how this game has been able to run for so long. Though losing our account made us sad we are thankful for the early days where we were F2P so we wasnt really disheartened to keep on playing. The game definitely has gotten more raunchy but Im glad theres still cute and covered clothing options for our characters. If you love dress up games and gachas then this game is definitely for you. But dont expect to be playing this for hours on end.
Its been a good couple of years but got a new phone n forgot our password. Tired the forgot the password method n never got a email or spam. We let them know n they were good about the contact. Its just we dont have all that information n Im not starting over again. Great game wasted a gooooooooood of dollars on this so trust us its worth it just dont lose that password. We had this app for a couple of years and to be honest, eventually you will get bored of it. There isnt really much to do in it other then to have the same chats everyday (depending on the season) and for events you do nothing, but just press a button to advance forward. And forget about winning the top prizes the event offers you. You would have to spend lots of money to able to continually advance forward against any competition. Its been nice for awhile, but its just too boring now. Nothing happens.
Ive been playing pretty much as long as the game has existed; however Ive been locked out of our account for MONTHS because its connected to our Facebook with no way to recover it :(( it keeps telling us the developer is aware of the issue but at least half a year later and it still isnt fixed!! Its such a let down because we truly love this game, and had put a lot of time and funds into our account.
So we started playing this game in 2017 and been obsessed with it for years until probably two years ago we have the data transfer user name and password and nothing we lost literally all our rare stuff and some other stuff. This is honestly crazy we just remembered about this game and wanted to see if we still had our things and nope everythings gone. Years of progress gone. Man that hurt to see we lost all our progress.
Ive been playing this game for a solid year now, at this point, and safe to say Ive gotten very addicted- it's very nice to recreate our own original characters in this game and dress them up in a bunch of outfits- it scratches an itch in our brain we never thought we'd scratch. Thing is, you need A LOT of patience to have a good variety of things, and probably some cash if you want to go for something in an event that isn't in the Medal Gacha. Also, as much as we love this game we are a bit bothered by the overwhelming amount of fanservice/'yabe' outfits we've been getting recently (As of October 2023). Don't get us wrong we like some risqu outfits every now and then but getting large chests and revealing outfits shoved in our faces every week is starting to get old.. We really want some more unique SFW outfits, or even just more SFW casual outfits! We know the more mature outfits get the bills paid, but at least give us some cute and pretty stuff without all the mature themes.

This game is the best for creative young ladies with work and school prayers likeness and sharing and collaborate on skills. Very kind and up to date program worth a try.
Im not really sure what to do, the tutorial was really short.
Very fun, but there's a lot of bugs. For example, we've had a glitch where the MC says "…" in response to everything that our girlfriends say for almost a week now. And now our girlfriend won't even show up on the home screen anymore, it's just blank and won't let us talk to her.
We know Ambition's other female otome Moe Can Change is super popular, but we never liked the aesthetic of it or the gameplay, so we've stuck with their app Animal Boyfriend. Despite that, we decided to give Dream Girlfriend a shot and was pleasantly surprised! The design of the way your girl looks in this is much nicer (in our opinion) and so far the app in general is very cute! (And the storyline about the "legendary cellphone" cracked us up.) we do believe we'll be keeping this one! EDIT: Ive been playing DGF on and off since release day in September 2015 and can say in general we still like the game very much, however there are some huge issues with it at the moment. Theyve made major changes to the games UI which many people have expressed distaste for due to aesthetic reasons and feeling like it doesnt match the vibe of the game, but its also because of some major functional issues. You can see when you first load into the game that pieces of the old brown/pink flower UI are still there, theyre just covered up with the new things, meaning theyve just plopped the new UI on top of the old instead of actually changing it out. If we had to guess, thats probably a big part of why so many people are experiencing awful lag to the point that its unplayable. The UI is also completely broken on tablets, also making it unplayable. Even if your device is brand new, the app is still broken. Its the UI, not your device. Judging from what people have said in other reviews, the game has been completely unplayable on tablets due to the broken UI for more than two months, possibly even longer. Considering how many people play on tablets + the fact that both the english and japanese versions of the game are fairly popular + people spend a well decent amount of money on the game and Ambition definitely has to have the budget to fix it, we dont really understand why theyve let it go on being broken this long without a fix to at least make the UI stable on tablets again. Im not going to give it a one star because we do still enjoy the game, but we are knocking it down to three until they actually get it fixed and playable on tablets again. Two of our accounts are presently unplayable because of the broken UI, which is disappointing enough. We can only imagine how disappointing it would be to be a player with only one account and be unable to play because you use a tablet.
This game is super cute and the animation is great for a free game. However, since the start of the game, the MR drop rates have suffered and make the game pretty much undesirable at this point. It's like impossible to win anything nice. They are uncharitable with cool things you can have like gatcha tickets and charge a ridiculous amount to get special things in the game. It just makes the whole game look bad because there is no gratification everything takes so long to do things like level up or play an event. (Which also is basically impossible to score through all the levels unless you pay).
We enjoy this game immensely, love how you have a lot of reign when creating your girls; personality, clothes, features. Years ago though, even free players were able to rank high in events which is almost impossible to do now. And its crazy hard to earn np the free way, and thats if the ad links even want to work (which currently they say no ads available every time we try to complete one.) its kinda ridiculous :/ and very disappointing. Its become more of a pay to win game then a free to play like it used to be.. Which was what drew us into the game in the first place, aside from the lovely art. Id also like to mention that the game is completely glitched on iPads/tablets. The ui and display are totally messed up and in a giant black box. Hopefully thatll be fixed since its hard to see all the small details on a phone. AND theres so many features in the game that havent been updated in years, too. Like the free gacha, its all been the same and nothing new added, same with the shops. We really think more would be beneficial especially for people who cant afford to buy np and other perks.
We wish there was MORE we actually spend money on this game and we wish they did more.we havent had A phone for Awhile we finally come back two days and stuff are still the same.the shop hasnt given new clothes,give Us more skin tones,or conditions like Vitiligo etc update the shops every week or two weeks.give Us MORE ways to earn NP & Gacha tickets etc.cause spending money all the time aint it.you ate all that and left all the crumbs.
Please make the screen size compatible with iPad, please! The screen shifts all the time and the game is so hard to play now. Im begging please fix it.
We'd give this game a higher review because we've played it for so long but, they haven't responded to our email about getting our account back for almost a month now. We first signed in using Facebook but now we can't get in because it says it's not accessible. We've lost all progress because of that so now we're missing out on events. We would like it if they responded to help us get our account back. When they do we'll change our review.
Right now, the app is not formatted correctly for tablets AT ALL. Trying to navigate through menus often leads to images sliding around weird and buttons not clicking properly. We love this game, so please fix it.
We used to love this game, in spite of its repetitiveness and grindy gameplay. Recently, we went back to check on our girls and the lag is unbearable. We cannot swap between any screens without being forced to wait a good 20 seconds, despite having a newer phone now. Its only made all the more worse by the new UI, which makes everything both (a) unrecognizable to older players and (b) visually a mess. We cannot get the makeup shop to work either, which means we cant see if any new eye options have been added in since the last time we played. Please fix this.
Ever since the UI update the game not only looks awful and is confusing to navigate but there are constant visual bugs that sometimes even force us to restart the app. The devs seriously need to fix the issues or entirely revert the UI changes.
Ive been playing this game for six years, this new UI is horrible. We log on after a couple months of not playing and yall have completely changed the layout. So ugly and tacky now. Please change it back, it makes it so difficult to play.
The outfits are SO ugly and tacky lately. We promise nobody wants marching band themed outfits. We went cool, ethereal things. And its nearly impossible to even get any of the cool items. Please just make it a little more worth it to play. We miss it when this game was not so tacky.
Man, we used to really love this game. We've been playing it for 5 years. It's fun and we like participating in the events. But we can't stand the new UI. It's way too cluttered and it's honestly confusing to navigate. We're not sure why they felt the need to change the old one, it was fine the way it was.

Idk dude this game is awful. The animations are ugly, its impossible to navigate, and the customization options need work. Also, in general it just feels so outdated almost like the kind of poorly made game youd play in the early 2000s. If you want a better dress up game, just play MCC. (Moe can change) Its 100x better in every way.
This game is perfect for players of all kinds of skills and time commitments. We do not rank but usually we can get lvl 100 in events free to play. There is now a pity systems so if you dont get all the SR UR event outfits there is gacha point exchange. Just playing events this game can take about for 20 minutes a day through out the day maybe even less if your are focused. Low maintenance game great art style biweekly events and a brand new UI! Only downside is if your a collector you can get in pinch buying closet space. All the money we have spent in this game is on closet space lol.
Make sure you didnt sign up with Facebook! It looked like we lost everything but we didnt. 5 year user, spent maybe 20$ overall and have a lot of event outfits, u just have to save ur gacha tickets to get the event items and for the drinks make sure u do synthesis and stuff.
Why change a perfectly good ui after nearly seven years? Its awful to both look at and navigate PLEASE go back to the old one.

Im not a fan of the newest update. Why did they wait 6 years before changing the design of the app? It changed how the entire app looks and makes it more complicated to navigate. Also please make the app screen size to be compatible with iPad. With the new update, it no longer is. Im giving 4 stars because we do enjoy this game just not this new update.
It's a really good game Ive played for 6 years besides the money spending lol AND the new UI is so confusing and cluttered it makes the game lag so bad for nothing loads we cant even use wifi or our cellular data and that honestly blows. We feel like if theyd done some sort of survey to see what the players wanted would have been better.
This has been our favorite app dress up game and Ive been playing for the last six years. Recently the UI got an update and it is an absolute eyesore. We wouldve gave five stars before the update absolutely but it is so cluttered, bright and has not become more convenient. We are one of the many people in this community that is not happy with this. It could use an update but it definitely should have been a test. Getting feedback from the players. Its a fun game, makes you want to spend your money, the grind can be a little annoying, but it is a wonderful dress up game.

Its hard to navigate, cluttered, and the bright white-on-blue literally gives us headaches. We really hate to give this a 1 star rating, because last week before the update happened we wouldve given it 5 stars. We used to spend money on this app (honestly, way too much money lol), but from now on Ill be restraining until something is done about the UI, preferably changing it back to usual. What the heck is the new UI? Its the ugliest thing Ive ever seen. Now theres 1000 ugly notifications and buttons instead of our girlfriend that we paid money to make pretty. You destroyed it. Ive played for over 6 years and you made it unplayable. Thanks a lot. Bye.
A lot of players including ourselves love the game the new update changed the way we look at the game its a lot more confusing to do things and to find where to do things we absolutely HATE this update we dont like seeing the red exclamation points on everything we ignore stuff for a reason Im taking a long break from the game.
Ive been playing for about a year now and have enjoyed this game. The new UI they just rolled out though is super annoying Im considering not playing anymore and not ever making any in app purchases again (the small ones Id make here and there). Ill change this rating if they can bring back the previous interface.
Just play cocopa girls if you want a dress up game. Ugly update. It looks like someone who has no design experience created it. Looks absolutely terrible. Ive been playing this for years and we just wanna say this is honestly a terrible game. Its 100% pay to win. If you want to win a event outfit you have to save up enough tickets and drinks for at least half a year to a year. And, then its all based on luck. For gods sakes the outfits are more money than clothes in real life. Its way too expensive for everything. You literally cant do anything in the game but dress up and the dress up options are extremely limited and garbage. Also they have outfits that are meant to make your characters minors and make them revealing. Disgusting. Do not play this.
Ive played for a long time. Fun game. Love our girls. The reason it gets 4/5 is because 1. We wish you could see how many dates you need to unlock the next. Specifically relaxing cat cafe. We have no idea where Im at now. Frustrating. Also trying to get coupons from dates is frustrating because the drop rate is so low for us. So far we drew 4 times with 40,000 date xp and not a single coupon. 2. Dont even think about getting event outfits if you dont have both linked outfits and energy potions. (we get it tho, have to make money) 3. Real money doesnt get you much. Its like 20$ USD for one outfit. 4. We feel it could be more user friendly when it comes to trying to understand and achieve personalities. 5. Groups are pretty boring. We never have experienced a leveled group tho. 6. We wish you could trade MR outfits from gatchas or even to swap event outfits with others.
We know this is for boys but pls add girls to play to its fine if not.
We love this game. We love the community. Its so fun to dress up and interact with our girls. We love the events and stories too. Its like RP pretty much. The outfits are so cute. It would be nice if they would have darker skin tones. We love the heck out of this game though.
