Community Insight:

Its okay , works but not FB email , we want link with Game Center Global Pals.

This is the best game we have next to Monument Valley! Challenging, a bit nerve-racking, and all around awesome! We dont know if its our love for games like this, or if this game is just well created, but it is spectacular! We love the little robot, and how he just has bad luck in artificial life. We mean, getting fired, getting smashed and spiked, having to travel so far, and barely escaping the bosses alive! We love it.

We like it we think it is so cool and fun puzzle game are you with us it is so cool right and we are good at it.

The good: – the graphics – the interface – the look and feel – the puzzles – the fun! The not so good: – crickets.

If you like Pavilion, Monument Valley 1 and 2 and Hocus and Pocus you will love this game. Many of the attributes of those games.

The game is awesome, but the interface and controls leave much to be desired. Some of the levels are difficult because the control over the robot and other elements are not super refined.

Please fix. App shuts down after a few seconds. Luv luv this game. Over played monument valley. This a breath of fresh air. Please fix bugs so we can get to level 17.

Good puzzle design and graphics. But lacks heart, with relentless machines smashing g the robot character. Nothing to care about and no rewards. And theres no way to go back and choose a level to repeat.

We were looking for another game like the monument valley series – relaxing, atmospheric puzzle challenges to fuel a quick break between work tasks to reinvigorate the mind. This has similar elements but adds the consequence of your robot being destroyed if you arent quick enough through obstacles – this is not relaxing and indeed increases stress rather than decreasing it. Nice effort – please consider a less violent version with more story.

This game looks like Monument Valley and is also just as beautifully designed. However, this is not a puzzle solving game, rather its a game of run from a smashing ball/hammer whatever over and over until you get bored to tears. Dont waste your money on this.

We bought this as because we enjoyed Monument Valley so much but it aint that by a long shot. It has an Escheresque element to the design but its stressful not meditative. We wish Id bought something else.

It it is a speed app. No brain Power involved. Just ridiculously fast dexterity, which, due to arthritis, we lack. Was hoping for Monument Valley light and got tedium ad nauseam instead. Bummed.

The game is well constructed. However, unlike other games, the robot is destroyed by fierce machines at every turn until you solve the puzzle. The reflexes required are too challenging also, at least on our iPad. If the developers just made it a puzzle instead of a life and dismemberment situation for the robot, it would be a good game. As it stands, Im sorry we bought it, and Im a big fan of monument valley, Mekorama, fix the factory, and ghost of memories (?). When did we lose our sensitivity.

Was very sad there weren't more chapters.

Now what more do you guys expect us to say. Really love the game. Only negative thing we can say is that we wish there were more levels, when we were getting all warmed is when It came to end with the levels. Please create more levels – take it to an even 1000.

Controls tricky but not impossible, update helped, too bad once we got into the swing of it, it was over. Hoping new levels coming soon.

We love the look and feel of the game. Mechanics are good and levels increase in difficulty. We like added boss levels compared to only puzzle levels like MV. The power ups do feel like an afterthought and maybe some more active power ups would be cool too.

This is a fun and challenging puzzle game. We highly recommend it.

This game is similar to Monument Valley but it is sort of like it's less-artistic version. It's a fun game and has kept us entertained even on the tougher levels. If we hadn't played Monument Valley prior to this game we'd probably enjoy it more but it seems like a knock-off to MV.

This is a fun variation on the isometric puzzle theme. It's simple to learn, the levels are well constructed. Until you get to chapter 2 part 5. After so many tries, we're still stuck on this level and ready to give up. It's too hard compared with the rest of the game. And we're no longer having fun. Can you please fine-tune this level to make it more approachable for your audience.

The controls are very awkward and difficult to control. This is a game that should be played on a larger screen, but definitely not on a iPhone screen.

We love the idea of the stories of the robot. Howeve, its color scheme and sounds made us felt sad and lonely. Perhaps because we played mounment valley first, its joy and happy color choice against this game's sad and gray atmosphere. We would like a warmer color, which made us felt more comfortable.

Was looking for a monument valley type game since they are not providing updates – this is not as fun because instead of being stuck while figuring out how to progress through the game this kills you and you have to restart the level. Big difference. Moving on to The Room.

We found this game easy to play, but it's hard to advance. We've been playing one level for the past three days and we can only go so far and can't go on any further. The robot keeps going back and forth and we eventually die by getting hit and we have to start the level again. It's very frustrating and we feel we threw our money away on this game. Seeing others have made it, makes us wonder how they did? We have patience, but this game makes us want to delete it and find another game that allows us to enjoy playing it. With this one we wish we hadn't found it and downloaded it.

How is this game supposed to work.

  1. Robot changes direction randomly. 2. Hard to control knobs. 3. If you die – start from the beginning. 4. Robot cannot move at this angle – you discover it unpredictable. 5. One star only for graphics and colors.

Mechanics are impossible. Beautiful graphics. We give the developer credit. But with every failure the episode starts from the beginning. A waste of battery. Uninstalled.

So what if it's similar to MV it's still a great game. The chapters become increasingly difficult. Yea there are some glitches where the robot would get stuck and we'd have to reset that level but overall it's not that big of a problem. We had trouble putting the game down at times. Last level was the hardest and it took us 29 minutes to finish and our old brain cells were screaming at us but we hope there is more to come.

Similar to MonumentValley, but has many of its own unique gameplay elements. Highly recommended.

While many will just write this off as an MV clone, those who are willing to take a chance on it will most likely feel very rewarded after just 20 minutes of gameplay. GameDigits has managed to add enough to the existing mechanics of Monument Vally to really make sure that Dream Machine stands apart in plenty of ways (like autorunning, tap to stop, boss battles, upgrades, timed runs and some incredibly inovative level design). On top of that, NO IAPs!!!! FULLY PREMIUM ATM!! – hopefully the developers keep it that way and just add level packs (otherwise known as DLC on other consoles, but whatever). Definitely a game we'll play through to the end and wind up keeping on our phone afterwards. Great stuff.

This is very reminiscent of Monument Valley but it's own atmosphere and character. Great challenges, beautiful graphics, cute hero, interesting idea with the bosses. Nice work.

Good stuff: Visual style is great and very reminiscent of Monument Valley… Though not as varied. It does its own thing well, however. Puzzles are nicely designed and aren't immediately obvious. The fact that you can die makes timing important: something Monument Valley didn't have. Meh stuff: Toys as bosses? We get that it's trying to be like clockwork or mechanical, but it clashes with the rest of the style. Upgrades? What for? Seems like it was tacked on at the last minute. Just let us enjoy the game for what it is: a series of interesting 3D puzzles. Twitter and Facebook icons plus logins? Why? This game seems confused about what it wants to be. It would be nice if it were more focused. It's got hints of cohesive, harmonious design but it's not quite there. In the end the visuals are nice but the game's vision is not as strong as Monument Valley's. If you're okay with that, the puzzles are great to experience.

Superficially, this is a horrifying ripoff of Monument Valley, but it turns out to be a rather different game and surprisingly polished and creative.

Great game, but we got stuck in level #17. The robot can't be controled and stays just in corner!! Please fix it.

On iphone 6s, we tap and hold to stop the robot, but then he starts walking slowly on his own. We press harder (3d touch) and he stops, then walks again. Frustrating.

We're torn between giving this game five stars (because it is VERY good), or giving it one star (because it REALLY copies Monument Valley by ustwo). We will give three stars.

The premise, style and game-play in Dream Machine will be very familiar to players of MV. Copying the general concept of MV is fair-play for a game, but in our opinion many aspects of Dream Machine are clear examples of blatant intellectual property theftfrom design elements to the audio. We gave this game 3 stars solely based on the execution, but it deserves 0 stars for the lack of morality and integrity demonstrated by those giving this title life.

If you thought Monument Valley would be better if your character could die, if you had to play levels over from the beginning repeatedly every time you die, and if you had to hold your finger on the screen while considering your every move, this game is for you. Nonetheless, at 99 cents and no IAP, it's still worth trying.

We loved this game until we got stuck on chapter 4 (#17!) Awesome puzzles… We hope the glitch is fixed so we can keep going.
