Community Insight:

That and in the in game encyclopedia it does not talk about bosses on any pages we have collected all 22 of them so we would like you to put more pages so it would talk about the bosses. This game is perfect for a sequel please make one.

Its one of the most addictive games Ive ever played 10/10 praying for a sequel.

Really fun, is that kind of game you want just simply when got nothing to do, and even it makes you want finish the story. We already finish it but still playing. Something cool about this game is it do not have invasive ads, they appear in a really sutil way and we love that.

We just beat the entire game with all the characters. We wish there was more! We'd definitely pay for a sequel. This game is amazing.

Reminds us of Bubble Bobble without the dragons and without the jumping and catching enemies with bubbles.

They dont come any finer. Quick to launch. Ads arent an issue. Super fast paced. Re-playablility VERY high. SAVE YOUR DIAMONDS, you need 750 to continue 4 times after you die. Make sure hearts are clusters in bonus, youll need them later. When selecting a bonus item make sure the path lets you select something else if you dont need a heart.

Without a doubt our favorite mobile game, in app purchases aren't forced and the in game currency is very easy to get, ads are minimal and easy to close, the art style and characters are unique and the reward for beating the game with all these characters makes it all worth while.

This is a wonderful Game! Frustrating at first, yet interesting. We highly recommend it! However even after the update the unlock able character is still glitching.

Hey so we liked the original Drop Wiz so we thought we would like this one. We didnt like it as much as we would hope, but thats just because Im not a huge fan of endless arcade games. Still loved the story and mechanics, although it would be fun to have maybe 2-3 more characters that would cost between the snow guy and Mia. Anyway, the real point of this review: roughly once every 5 minutes playing the game (and we think it might be caused by ads), the game freezes. The only way Ive been able to fix this is by hitting the pause button, but that doesnt always work. Okay, a bug that freezes your game a bit every once in a while, we can deal with that. But when it does get back to normal, it looks like the game has been running without visuals the whole time it was paused. We havent gotten too far and have this happen, but we could easily see this ruining our interest if we get to the end and it happens. Thanks if you look into this, if not, its not the end of the world but Ill probably find another game. P.S. We were just wondering, but why is the hitbox for the ground platforms bigger than for the floating platforms? We just noticed that when we dropped off a floating platform onto the edge of an equally big ground platform, we still walk a little bit before falling off. We assume that its because you can walk into the side of ground platforms and if the hitbox was the same size as the floating platform, you would walk into the wall before turning around, which wouldnt feel as good as just hitting the edge and turning around. Okay, Im done rambling. :).

The bats look the exact same as the ones from super cat tales (on android its called super cat bros) so one stole from the other or its the same artist.

This is a really good game, it is a good way to kill time and deserves more attention from consumers. For the devs reading this we are aware that this is a pixel for pixel clone of a game called drop wizard which costs $3.99, also we cant play as the dragon if you fix it will rate 5.

This has happened twice now, on two devices, but the game will refuse to work and will just show a blank screen, and we cant do anything . Please fix this if possible.

We know adds are just a given. But you start out with five hearts. And every three hits you take you have to watch an add… Every… Three hits. So when you die, thus taking your last two hearts. The next try you make, losing a third = sixth heart. You watch another add. This happens so often, it grinds any enjoyment of it awesome art style to a halt. Would not recommend wasting this much time with adds. There are plenty of games that are more generous. Usually translating to, fewer adds, or adds = in game currency.

Played it for a few minutes. Figured out how boring it was. Deleted it. Its not fun enough to grind and unlock the wizards.

We have played this game to completion with all characters including the secret character at the end. And we love this game. The sprits are beautiful the music is lovely and the game play is really fun. Our biggest problem is that the game crashes a lot (and thats especially bad when playing with the last character and the game doesnt save progress) it got to the point where we almost deleted the game because of how frustrated we were getting. Also we wish it was more obvious on how to play with the 7th character. When we unlocked him we just acknowledged him and was confused on what to do next. It wasnt until we accidentally clicked him that we realized we could play as him. Maybe put him in the player select screen (this way you can also see that he has all the characters abilities). We love this game and we cant wait to see what comes out from both Nitrome and Neutronized.

Very generic game that really has nothing to offer. The graphics are uninspired, the gameplay does not offer anything new and the game is completely not engaging. We could not even find ourselves playing this while waiting for the bus or waiting in line. To make things even worse, not even after 2 mins we were spammed with ads that have a crazy small close sign and take you elsewhere. Probably there is micropayments later, didnt stay to find out.

Not fun at all to play. The character moves right and left even when you dont press the control buttons. You cant control when he shoots. We deleted the app.

Ads are intolerable with their tiny x that you cant click to close. Only way to play the game is on airplane mode to limit the ads.

We really liked bubble bobble, so we liked this also. It's harder though, due to the changed gameplay mechanics.

It's actually good. We unlocked all characters without paying for gems. This game is simple but has nice depth and progress.

Our favorite Nitrome game since Gunbrick! Loving it.

We find this game to be fun, simple to play but hard to master. We haven't experienced lag, and it's easy enough to collect gems. We also find the advertising methods to be pretty low key and easy to deal with compared to other phone games we have played.

At least in our humble opinion, loved the original and this one has quickly grown on us, totally hooked. Don't change a thing.

The game is great. Exactly what you would expect from a Nitrome game. Perfect 8 bit graphics and of course awesome 8 but music. The concept of the game is simple and can be played by anyone. A little difficult to time an attack correctly with the wizards constance movement, but a fun game none the less.

This game is fun and challenging. Cute and good music. Excellent character design and animation. Fun.

Drop Wizard Tower's unique ideas and spins on traditional tower climbing games really stood out to us. We love the idea of the fire mechanic being tied to dropping down one platform, because we feel that it adds a level of difficulty to the game, and on top of that, is just very interesting and one-of-a-kind, in our opinion. We'd recommend this game to anyone that is looking for a classic tower climber game with a bit of a challenge and unique twists to traditional gameplay mechanics. We found this game very fun and quite challenging, but in a good way. We completed this game, and found that there isn't really much to do after that besides perhaps complete the Almanac (we're missing one page). So what would be a nice addition is an endless mode. Points are also an issue; you can gain score throughout the game, but it seems as if there's no real way to check back and see what your personal best is or anything of the sort, so score literally has no purpose, making the scoring items void and pointless to even pick up. We think it'd add a level of competition to the game to be able to set high scores and the like. That may be possible through Game Center (we haven't checked) but just an in-game high score stat would be nice. Maybe even a retro leaderboard where you input your initals! Overall, great game and very entertaining. Nice, fun experience for those into retro styled arcade games. Only things missing would be an endless mode and a point to the score system (see what we did there?). Oh, and also Panic Bot.

Then we learned we had to beat it again 5 more times 10/10 IGN.

If you are a fan of the first one; you'll immediately fall in love with the improvements on this sequel like we did! We would like to request from Team Neutronized, to please find a way to add Yeti and Super Cats to this game! Perhaps as IAP characters or Super Special Spells where they can assist you.

This looks a lot similar to super cat tales, to be honest.

Another awesome game from Nitrome, we love it.

This obvious homage to Bubble Bobble is quirky but well-crafted. The controls take a bit of practice to get the hang of, and the mechanics make this game more defensive than Bubble Bobble's simple offensive attack style, but the core principle of stunning your enemies then wiping them out, often as a group, remains intact — as does the concept of picking up a wide variety of bonus items. It's actually remarkable just how familiar this game feels while presenting an entirely unique concept and avoiding all the shamefulness of being a second-rate copycat. But one thing that needs a revision is the skill upgrade system. After the first upgrade, you're stuck on a set path which limits your upgrade choices. This itself is a clever idea, but unfortunately, it sometimes results in the player having to take an extra life when they don't need one, and because the game caps the number of lives in reserve at four, the upgrade is completely wasted. To correct this, the life cap should be increased to eight — or perhaps more if there are ways to earn extra lives that we don't know about.

This game isn't actually that bad. The graphics and story are nice, but the character movement is a little weird. If you don't constantly move the character he "wonders" in a certain direction and you can end up losing a life. However, our biggest problem is that the game will freeze or go blank occasionally, a simple restart can fix it but it's still slightly annoying. Ads are what you expect, maybe tone it down to every two hearts or something. Overall; great game, just a few tweaks can be made to make it really enjoyable.

We like the game but two flaws add where able to shoot at our free will and make a part where u ride a dragon pls mr game make.

Annoying at first but once you get the hang of it its actually a fun challenge, we really get tons of Kirby vibes from it havent finished the game yet but since there IS an end, maybe a unique mode can be added?? Hope to see new characters too so far so good.

Loved the original, loving this one. Well worth the IAP. Our big complaint is that it is too easy to accidentally use the special power. It would be nice if there was a way to save progress or somehow make it so we could complete the game in pieces rather than in one marathon session.

This game would and is fun but, there is so things that are very weird of annoying. It needs improvement and when it does this game will be very fun and addicting game to play.

We don't understand the comments saying "they don't understand the controls"??? It's very simple, tap left and the character moves to the left, tap right, he goes right! When u drop down to a lower level he shoots when he lands. The object is to shoot the baddies when you land n then run into them to finish them! Just to clear up the confusion. Really not hard though.

We think this would be cooler if there was a landscape mode. This is the biggest reason we have for giving it four stars. Other than that it's a great game to play on your spare time.

It's a lot like Bubble Bobble and we were never fond of the game…But nonetheless we're sure Some people will like it.

At first the controls are hard and movements seem random. But after a few rounds we had mastered the controls and the game was full of puzzles that made us keep going back for more.

Cute art. Difficult mechanics. Distracting ads.

Forgive us we have forgotten the name but this is like a low grade version of the old school Mario game needs work has potential to be 5 stars.

This game is actually very fun and addicting, it also reminds us a lot of the arcade classic Bubble Bobble, however that's where it goes downhill. The controls feel very uncomfortable and unresponsive, also having to go down a platform just to stun an enemy doesn't really feel like a good idea.

The game gets dull and dry quickly.

This game is very nice but, unfortunately, gets dragged down by its bad points. The pixel art is very well done, and the story is a really nice touch. Not many apps can match the quality of this game, and for it to have a plot just gives it another boost. However, we can't say it's without bad points as well. The game lags, which is never good, especially for a game that seems to be meant to be played at a pretty quick pace. The advertisements are also very much in the way of the fast gameplay. They cut in whenever you die, which would be okay if the game was over whenever you died. It isn't, however, because you get four lives, meaning that you have to lose focus every time you die, causing you to die a lot. We don't mean to sound whiney, it's just an observation. Overall though, it seems to be a great game, but it could just use a BIT more polishing.

Great art, mechanics are ok, kinda wish the player didn't move on it's on, would rather have more control.

We don't know if it's just us, but it was to understand the controls.

There is an app on the store called drop wizard, made by a different guy… It costs money to buy, but is a much better experience than this. It was made in 2014 while this was made in 2017….. Plagiarism.

But ads…. Every $&:";&( round.

It was a ok game but we could not handle how many ads there were. You could tell the company was out to make money not a fun game.
