We feel as if you should get characters for free by doing certain things. For example, when we beat the game (floor 20), we wasnt rewarded with anything and we felt that there should be something. Overall, its a fun game and it makes you think. We like the boss fights, but we dont like how you cant use your own abilities/bombs to damage it. Just make characters free and have progression in the game, other than that its pretty good.
R. Caudle, and anyone who maybe have been questioning this, we have only played once, but bombs instantly kill snowmans, so you have to have max bombs, and get some bombs in the level, probably. We have no clue, but we hope this works.
Honestly after revisiting 2 months later, we wanted to update our review. This is a pretty good game. We would like to thank the devs for replying to our previous review, even though we were pretty pessimistic on a lot of things. Its a solid game and we think changes have been made to difficulty and the sort. Personally we like the new changes and we think that theyve done a pretty good job. Honestly, its a solid game. We would recommend it.
Just saw it advertised in SK lobby so we decided to check it out, more of a tutorial would have been nice but the movement just feels amazing.
This is such an amazing fun flash game we love the fact its t over crowded with adds, its not pay to win gg.
It is like an extreme version of pac man and Im hear for it the only thing we’ve found that is bad is that it doesnt specify say in the tutorial what etch creatcher that attacked you does and that you swipe on the board and not at the bottom. Over all this is a great game and we will keep playing.
We dont ever write reviews, but this game deserves one. We saw this game getting advertised and Id played games by chillyroom before so we figured we should try this out. That was a mistake. The storyline is ok but then we spawn in and Im some orb who needs to collect energy to make bombs? We were immediately confused; it played like it was a chimera abomination crossed between Pac-Man and an rpg game. The enemies out-smarted us, were faster then us, and if they didnt die to one hit we had to run around them and dodge until we could make it to the exit. The only reason Im giving five stars is because it challenged to be confused until bit by bit we figured it out. We may have lost brain cells as a sacrifice, however.
Hello chillyroom, we have been playing soul knight for a very long time, and we believe it is one of the greatest rogue likes on the App Store. We have played through this game, beat it, and found that it is also a very great game. Do you know what the difference is between soul knight and this? Presentation! For soul knight, people kind of understood how the game works: conserve energy, collect better weapons, etc, Because it is a roguelike, and we know what to expect. However, dungeon of weirdos is an entirely unique game. We have seen pac-man clones before, however this one brings more to the table. The issue is that nobody understands whats going on! Its just crazy! Its playing through and trying to figure it all out is NOT a pleasant experience, either. And when you look in the items descriptions, it only offers a very small amount of information. We still have no clue what the cannon does, because all its description says is BOOM! Another thing is that we had no idea what the keys did until after we played through several times. We do not feel like you need to change the mechanics too much: you just need to change the item and enemy descriptions so that we can understand what is going on! The gameplay is good, but the characters are difficult to use. In soul knight, your currency and ability cool down are separate. However, in this game they are combined, making using diamonds feel expensive. Diamonds in this game are hard to get, and if the users first impression is that they can only be used to kill enemys for two seconds, then they will feel like they are near useless. The last thing we want to cover are the characters themselves. First of all, the characters have no upgrades. That was part of the fun in soul knight: picking a class and getting good at it. However in this game, stars feel too hard to get in order to feel like you make any significant progress. We have played as all of the feel characters (other than angle sheep) and guess which one of them is the best? Locksmith! Want to know why? The two extra bomb slots. They make the game so much easier. Why does he have two extra? Which other characters have two extra? And, most conspicuously, why arent there any items that let you have extra bomb slots? Sorry for the rant, however, we feel like a lot of people miss the complexity and fun of the game because they are overwhelmed by all the small elements that make it great. We are not an expert, but we personally feel like you should give us longer item and enemy descriptions! Figuring out how the game works is fun, but not knowing how to play it is not! We know that this is still a very new game, but we felt like we had to give our opinion. Very well done 5 stars once you understand it.
We love the different power ups and enemies you fight. We just wish the game was longer because we finished it is a day. Hope to see more content in the future if possible.
Soul Knight is one of our favorite games out there, so naturally we had to download Dungeon of Weirdos to see what other great game ChillyRoom had been working on. We are not disappointed. It took a little getting used to because we had no idea what was going on, but once we finally figured it out, it was a really fun game. Its challenging and overall a fun game!
Adding multiplayer would be awesome this game has excellent potential and adding like story missions would be awesome like levels instead of having to restart everytime.
Great game concept, very easy beginning instructions to follow- we just cant vibe with s the game as much as we do Soul Knight. We dont know, maybe Im biased. Its like PacMan, with new obstacles.
We like the premise here but won’t buy any IAP until you guys add, at the very least, local highscores for each character.

"Dungeon of Weirdos" put many well known 8-bit titles into a blender and came out with a masterpiece. There are many strategic moving like conserving items such as bombs or dodging many enemies at once. The game seems short but has a lot to discover. We did encounter some problems with the amount of levels and how overpowered some abilities are, but it’s a good game. We just don’t know how it well last or end. It got boring after a month of playing and there is nothing new to discover.
So we have played Soul Knight for several years, its easily our favorite app out there. We appreciate the work Chilly Room put into it and we figured Id try this game since theyve been advertising it. We were not ready. Maybe we’ve lost one too many brain cells shooting at goblins and dodging bullets in SK, but we could not figure this game out. Like what even is going on? Its like Pac-Man and undertale and other games got mixed up and pooped out a wicked stepchild. The game is challenging for sure and confuses the heck out of us. What is that weird ball thing? Why are the monsters so much smarter than us? Who am I? These and other existential questions plagued us as we dove into this weird dungeon world Chilly Room devised. But the confusion drove us to play until we won so, 5 stars for that. If you need a quick diversion and want to challenge your conceptions of reality, this is a game for you! Aside: we’ve been told the game has color, but unfortunately it happens to be the one color that our color blindness renders as gray. So the whole thing looks grayscale and is super weird. Probably enhances the experience.
This game is in beta stages we think so maybe a week or 2 who got this in beta will get it for free while others have to pay for it.
Just cuz people dont understand the mechanics (not saying we do) doesnt mean the game is garbage this game was in early access not that long ago an just like soul knight isnt fully complete so we might have to restart a couple of times to get the full immersion of the game just like sk in the beginning we only were able to use 1 level an 3 playable characters 5 if u wanted to pay but they improved the game so much that it isnt even remembered anymore because of how much stuff they added we dont expect this game to be like anything sk had to offer an im excited to see the full story of the game.

Dungeon Of Weirdos is a fun pac man like game with a little spin on it. We can see a lot of potential for this game and we look forward to it!
Its a fantastic game, great time waster and over all one of the best monile games we’ve played in a long time. However there is a game ruining room in it( not the actual game in its entirety, however one game you play) that you have a chance to run into. This being the room with a giant colorful star in it filled with the snow man enemies. It is very unclear how to beat this room if it is at all possible. We have tried many times and still havent figured it out. Maybe Im not a food enough player yet? Whatever the case, besides that one flaw its an overall great game. We also think we the future that there should be more levels added, we also have installed soul knight and you guys did a fantastic job with that game and its still so fun to play, so with the proper guidance this is going to be another hit!
It feels somewhat unfinished, but we have confidence chillyroom will make a great game out of this.
Even though its trash, we give it a four star until it gets better.
Bad power-ups, useless weapons (bombs dont always hit even if youre lined up perfectly, and the sawtooth thing lasts just long enough for it to disappear right when you touch the enemy so you get hurt), utterly unintuitive and pointless shops. For example, we bought a power up that said turns you into a tank so we thought we finally got a good power up, but the stupid thing about this game is that power ups do not last very long at all and seem to wear off if you change rooms, completely breaking the function of buying potential upgrades from the shop. Another example, we completed a tetris puzzle, only to be rewarded with bombs and an invincibility shield that lasted all of 5 seconds. A few tips for improvement:tighten the controls and make it where the player doesnt just keep sliding after you let off the controls, its stupid and causes a lot of avoidable damage. Make upgrades and power ups say what they do when you stand close to them instead of having to gamble on trash that wont work anyway.

Newest game from chillyroom! We know ill be too lazy to change the rating, so im giving it a 5 instead of a 4* rating, because we know chillyroom will listen to us and make this game better. It is early release days after all, only coming out 2 hours before we wrote this review. This game is much like pacman, but much harder and challenging with Binding of Issac like collectables- theres tons to get throughout the game! The only flaw this game has is the difficulty and speed. We wish there was an option to play the game in 2x speed, thatd be cool. The difficulty isnt exactly bad but its not really balanced. For example, theres a powerup that gives infinite diamonds, thats seems wayyy too overpowered. Of course, more content is always appreciated, so we reccommend something like soul knight’s furniture or character upgrades, something to use our stars on, because buying characters is definitely going to be quick once you start picking this game up. Thanks for such a nice game, chillyroom!
5 stars it is amazing we were playing Soul Knights when we heard about this game coming out so we decided to pre order it best decision ever such a fun game.
We always tend to like all our games we play to keep an action packed feel ,this game has a more relaxed vibe but its still difficult at times which in fact makes us give 5 stars.

The game is great but it has some problems.
We’re not saying the game is bad, we’re just saying that there’s a lot to go forward with. Being that we beat the game first try without knowing anything of it but maybe that’s just us getting lucky. It’s a fun game that almost everybody could pick up easily. Just wish that there was a little more gameplay after you save your friend.
We really like chilly room and we play soul knights and we decided to pre-order this game and we love it! We didnt play it for that long, but we get like a Pac-Man like vibe to it. Keep making great games.
We like this game but it had many bug need to fix.
We usually feel like mobile games are declining. Too many ads and not good gameplay. However this game isn’t like your run of the mill game, you can customize and change the colors of things as you please, The more you play the more bosses and abilities you can collect. One of the most captivating games. We like the ability of customizing the colors and the special abilities and being able to drag them around. A 9/10 game! Love it.
The mechanics of the game arent explained at all when you start. Spritework is often confusing, blurring the lines between whats safe and whats not. Theres items, some things going on arent too hard to piece together – you can spend diamonds to activate items or use bombs (speaking of, the bombs are very inconsistent) to try and kill enemies – but they dont seem to do much to change the main gameplay of running around in a maze trying to avoid nondescript creatures.
Tutorial doesnt teach you how to attack.
Ok we love this game and we like the feel of it, we think it feels like pac man except a modern spin on it and it is a dungeon style. We know that this game is pretty new but we would love more characters, for example maybe one that gets a speed boost or one that can heal itself. But we do love this game, keep up the good work!

First off, Ill say that we love them game and it reminds us of the indie game Binding of Isaac. The only recommendation for the game that we have is to add more items, bosses, characters, and enemies. Besides that we have no complaints.
