We have no idea why this game doesnt have all 5 star reviews! Such an awesome game! Great old school pixelated animation, funny story-line, entertaining mixture of hack & slash plus mining what more could you ask for? It takes a little bit to really get into so give it time, you wont regret it! P.S. Now that we’ve played this game for quite a while we keep running into a force close big, which is very frustrating! Seems like it happens when we try and enter a new door in a dungeons in the ours. Please fix! We love this game!

We bought the game because we liked what we saw, and we couldnt put it down until we finished it. We wish there was more! Like a D&M2!!!

We went into the tavern talked to the guy and it crashes our game idk why this is happening so can you fix it or is it just our phone.

Worked through much of this, found lots of tressures, coins & crystals. Never could fix the castle, nor find missing people . Not sure why. Flew with the dragon to a new location; couldnt kill, or even hurt the giant spider. Completed almost every treasure but almost no quests. Found prisnors below castle, but couldn’t help them. Lots of puzzling things. Fun to try , worth checking out .

First off there is a full ad supported version. Second, the game is unplayable due to the horrible controls. Otherwise it looks like it would be great. The pixel art looks good. Im so tired of the apple store and how it rips people off. We buy these apps that dont work and lose our money.

The touch controls are too wonky. Needs controller support.

Starts out nice , once you hit castle upgrade 8 becomes horribly punishing and near impossible . Buggy controls, fast moving fog, monsters upgraded but cant upgrade our gear as Dungeon has no red crystals. Only play if you like dieing over and over with minimal progression and a RNG over skill system. Too bad as atmosphere is nice and gameplay loop might be fun if it werent made for masochists. Going to request a refund.

Im having a really good time with this one! The problems we had originally were fixed in a recent update and the developer was very responsive with our bug report. Would like a little more depth with the upgrade system and that Alexandrite is super tough to come by haha.

Starts out amazing and then the bugs and small world diminish the potential awesomeness. Dungeons and mining area gets repetitive pretty quickly. The imp pet is bugged and vanishes( we acquired him before we had a quest for it). There appears to only be two swords you can find and build, the fire and the death one. Theres stairs in the dungeon with glowing yellow light that wont let you more than half way up. The heart belt is buggy and gives you so much health over time that it goes off the screen. The drone boss can be visited over and over but there is no way to kill him after the first time and so you cant ever leave the area. The warning when you get there drone goes no where and the ending is lazy at best. This game could be something incredible but we think you released it too soon. Add some depth and fix the huge pile of bugs.

Game constantly locks up when trying to enter dungeons, we guess its when your character isnt exactly on the door judging by things so far. You can also dash through walls and get stuck by dropping down from things like stairs and quickly hitting dash towards a wall. When mining left or right sometimes a single block can get stuck and you will just keep swinging and not hit. So far we have just been able to back up and swing from another angle fortunately. You can also get stuck automining stairs which prevents you from getting to doors you should be able to. Theres an area that we cleared once that a dragon takes you to and a door opens after a sort of boss and when we went back the door wouldnt open again so we had to close the game. The game also crashed when switching pets, red crystals became available at lvl 10 we think so they showed up eventually.

Korean language support request.

In a landscape of money grabbing barely defined mobile games, its becoming rarer and rarer to find high quality mobile games. These guys nailed it with D&M. Its beautiful and vibrant, filled with life and flavor. It gives us the same feelings we get when we play supergiants Hades. This is 100% worth the one time fee of 3 bucks.

Great game very fun but we lost our imp and cant get it back due to a bug Ill change our rating if they fix this.

Vanishing imp has yet to reappear in our game. Red crystals are woefully underrepresented in the mines. Have yet to use souls without the game crashing.

We tried to give benefit of the doubt but it’s so buggy and crashes so often that we just can’t. It doesn’t help that saving only occurs when leaving the dungeon, so we keep wasting all the time before it crashes. We’ll keep on our phone since the game could be good, if they becomes playable.

Im really liking it so far, with some caveats that the developer is addressing. The pixel art is gorgeous and evocative, and well animated. The sound design is also extremely good. We like that its playable one handed in portrait, though more often Ill use both hands. The core gameplay loop (enter mines, dig and look for dungeon entrances, delve the dungeon and get treasure until you die and return to town, buy upgrades and repeat) is very compelling. Theres also some jank around the edges. There have been some crash bugs, some ways to get stuck enough that you have to quit the app to abort a run, etc, many of which bugs are fixed in todays patch. Im finding progression to be a challenge due to our limited skill, and also theres an upgrade material that we just cant find yet, which is sort of maddening. Its definitely got us hooked, though, and if a mobile portrait-orientation roguelite with a really compelling presentation is appealing to you, Id say its easily worth the price. Based on the developers responsiveness and track record from previous games, we think its likely to keep getting better.

Its a rogue like, mining and action rpg. The graphics are some of the best pixel style 2d its up there if not better than Sword and Sorcery from superbros. Great polish, the audio is great and atmosphere. Our only complaint is im on iphone x the notch hides the health bar and coins. Our fingers are also bigger and id love a landscape mode its hard to play on portrait.

Echoes of Dead Cells’s progression systems and Hades’s approach to storytelling. Some crashes and some problems with combat (like not prioritizing enemies over destructible when attacking), but fun to explore and mix up the upgrades.

This is a fun, pixel art game that can be played in quick bouts or for longer durations. With each new game, it feels like youre seeing more and more of what D&M has to offer. But, its not perfect. Offering souls to enter a treasure room consistently results in a crash. Sometimes entering/exiting a dungeon results in a crash. The dungeons occasionally have black bars in the playing area that obstruct your view. The good thing is none of these are game breaking. This is a rogue type. Youll die a lot. Thankfully, all of your accumulated gold and gear is savedeven when the game crashes. So while you do get set back, youre still better equipped. Despite the issues, Dungeons & Miners is worth the price. There are a few bugs. But, its not like Baldo which is basically unplayable. It would be nice if you had the ability to select different skins/costumes for your character. He is a bit drab and minimalistic. But, that doesnt detract from the fun to be had raiding dungeons and mining for ore.

We’re loving it so far. May have found a bug, not sure. When we got the little flying devil companion, we went to see if we could switch back to the pig, and the game froze and we lost the devil companion and can’t get it back. We have the "Beast Merchant" task but can’t compete it.

This game takes a few common tropes and puts a weird spin on them. Its weird and unexpected. Once you hit the main game loop, there is enough new things trickling in to keep you interested. It also harvests NO information about you, which is awesome! We’ve hit a number of bugs which prevent this from being a 5-star rating. You can very easily clip through walls. We’ve had one crash and one soft lock. And the UI has not been adapted to fit the notch on this iphone, making us guess how much health and gold we actually have.

Im playing on the 12 Pro Max and the UI cuts off at the top where the notch is! So when Im in the mines, our HP bar and the gold we’ve collected are cut off because of the notch. We like the game so far. We wished there was an icon to show when the game autosaves. 4/5 to see if the game gets an update to scale the UI or moves the stats below the notch.

Issues with the notch, randomly getting stuck climbing an invisible ladder to nowhere, not being killed by the fog and getting stuck at the bottom, being permanently stuck after being pushed back by some red doordespite all the annoying bugs that force you to quit the game and start over its got some fun dynamics and does a nice job in combining RPG and mining elements into a fun package. Will adjust our rating if needed polish is added to game.

At first glance, this game has a lot to offer the premise of pairing dungeon loot with digging for buried treasure sounds fantastic, and we were really looking forward to getting hooked. Unfortunately, the game starts with a cold open that leaves you wondering what to do (I stared at the campfire screen for a solid minute until we realized that we were supposed to start moving), and the controls are explained in a scroll (pop-up window) that is displayed to the player once and ONLY once. (It took us forever to figure out the ladders after accidentally dismissing the instructions a split second after they unexpectedly appeared on the screen. This is an unacceptable interface / polish flaw.) The game may get better later on, but from an interface and polish perspective, it is DECIDEDLY mediocre, especially in the initial stages when first impressions matter most. We like supporting small developers and non-microtransaction games, but we deeply regret this purchase.
