Community Insight:
Shirt review. Gameplay is choices and some tapping. Art is fantastic. Game plays even offline. We enjoy it. We think its worth the price point and would like to see more from these devs.
We have played both Dungeon Maker and Dungeon Squad, and both are high quality fun. Great art and pixel design make it very enjoyable for connoisseurs of culture. We personally would love to see the devs to make their own twist on a Vampire Survivors-type game with the characters of the Dungeon series! If youre listening devs, we would absolutely dump a bunch of money on it.
Time for one round is a little bit long.
The price is settled around 24$ or something for all the quality-of-the-life purchases. Its not much compared to gacha games and card games . 120$ to max out a character in gacha games is considered cheap, and usually it costs around 100$ to build a competitive deck in card games. We just quit both genres because the metas are too costly to catch up. Overall this game is not expensive, plus you support an indie company who will bring more good games in the future.
First off, be ready to lost your saves if the game closes. Between waves the game says it saves, so imagine our surprise when the app crashed and we had to restart the run from the beginning again. Other than that, its a fun game though it would be nice to have an option to dial down the provocative images. Definitely worth the few dollars and maybe the season pass. This is a bit like a tower defense mixed with roguelites, where you buff up after each wave/level and pick your power ups as the enemies try harder and harder to break through your defense (the guardians you start off with and expand on). You dont get to place traps or units, though, so its more tapping the screen frantically to protect your base and take out the heroes attacking you. Another con is theres almost no explanation on how to play the game, so its definitely trial by fire. If youve played similar games, though, where you pick power ups as the run/exploration/etc., then youll likely get the hang of it.
Its nice to have such an in depth of experience.
We hope it is keep having new contents.
Edit: played some more. Difficulty of later levels is much more balanced. Early on, you basically never see the bad guys because they die before they even get onto the screen.
There is a lot of grinding involved. Drop rate for dimension stones should be tripled at least.
Just wish they would update the game on IOS around the same time as android. Not 3 days later :((((((.
Each game they have released has been a blast to play and they really do deserve a bigger fan base and praise. We have spend hundreds of hours on their game Dungeon Maker only to get pulled into this one and both are well polished games with endless amount of ways to play! Perfection with this company.
From the makers of Dungeon Maker comes another great game with a very different gameplay type, featuring more active gameplay. Also like Dungeon Maker though, there are a billion different stats and effects. Starting the game immediately takes you to the gameplay without explaining anything. Fortunately we muddled our way through to a victory first try, but people with less experience in games may struggle to understand what is happening. More tutorial info about items, rewards, and stats the first time through would be helpful, along with an encyclopedia for easy reference. Overall though, very good, definitely worth $5.
The game has unneeded over-sexualized pixel art that almost made us not buy it. Other than that the game loop is fun and the updates have been often enough to keep it fresh.
After this update, there is a problem with the real-time save function and there is a picture bug in the scene that incorrectly displays the equipment icon. Hope to fix the bug as soon as possible.
We want to like this game because the art is cool, but there are no tutorials, explanations, anything to help us understand the game. We have no idea what the mechanics of the game are, what each character does and what their theme is, or what Im supposed to be working towards. Right now it feels like we can mess around in a sandbox, but theres no cohesive game experience. We would urge potential buyers to wait for some updates to fix this before purchasing. Also everything is designed to encourage microtransactions. You have to pay the same cost as the game to get the 1.5x speed and autoplay functions.
Just re-installed it today and all our progress was gone. We guess we just kind of assumed it would be there.
This game really needs a better tutorial and game term encyclopedia. Its lots of fun and not to greedy but Ive spent tons of resources on things we had know idea what they do cause the only way to figure it out is through trial and error. Im a pretty experienced gamer so we had good guesses but 2 weeks in and there is still stuff we bought that we have no idea what it does. There are some resource resets that you can use but of course they cost more resource and Im not even sure we want to reset them. This almost had us give a 4 star rating but then we realized Im still playing the game. Lol so guess its still fun even fumbling through it.
This game just rocks. These guys are the devs behind another amazing game, Dungeon Maker, and this one is just as good, if not better. Lots to upgrade, tons of action on the screen, and amazing art. Im a huge fan of the more lewd designs (thank you from the bottom of our heart Devs), but we do get why it can be off putting to some. Still, we think the fluidity of the gameplay and animations, as well as the upgrade choices, makes this an extremely engaging game with a ton of unlockables.
Good gamejust waiting for the new version.but it is far expensive from just buy it. If you won't pay a lot.don't play it too long.

Game has a high chance to crash after clicking on any function, sometimes even when entering the game. It crashes every time when you try to start a new play through. Essentially in playable right now.
Beautiful art, great replayability, great mechanics, difficulty feels good. Worth every penny.
Update: stuffs getting fixed. A codex unlocks eventually thats explains some stuff, and its easy enough to figure out the basics on your own. The game is super fun. Its all good now.
After Update 1.06 the game has improved greatly! More variety in stages is needed but the gameplay is balanced and fun now. Better translation and UI is great. Thanks for your hard work.
Im a general fan of Gamecoasters work and when this released we immediately checked it out. At the start it was a little rough around the edges, but nonetheless fun. In the two/three months its been out, theyve streamlined the primary gameplay loop, made it more accessible, and have added a lot of fun additional content. Knowing the developers, we expect more changes and expansions over time and we look forward to the development processes. We expect quality of life improvements throughout the life of the game too. Honestly the only thing id appreciate is something that reduces the animation cycle of the characters, but Im here for the gameplay not the tame titillation. A game with an upfront cost and in-game purchases is usually a big no from us, and we dont blame anyone for whom this is a deal breaker. But gameplay does unlock the purchasable content that is gameplay related, only cosmetics are truly locked behind purchases.
Probably our favorite defense game. The characters are well drawn and animated.
Please add auto save to cloud function. Accidentally deleted app and lost 3 weeks worth of progress :(.
Love the game, really hope we could play the same save on our iPad and android phone.
Its really good we look forward to the coming updates and content.
No idea its for everyone or just us, sometime when we open store or gain new ability, nothing would show off. We have to turn off the game which let us return to the very first level of each stage, causing us wont finish the game. Good game love it.
We're guessing it mean ability power and affects the characters non primary abilities but we cant find a description of the stat in the game.
The game has a rough translation and no guide. It is very hard to understand skills. Important features like autobattle and speed increase are locked behind a very long grind or require payment. The game doesn't tell you how to unlock them normally so many players will be lost. The game is censored. The Android version is different in visual content. NOTE: Screenshots on this page are for the Android version, characters look different in the game. Please change this to reflect the actual product. The game is very fun but currently has little content. Improvements are being made but beware, bugs and translation can make the game very hard and impossible. AndroidAndroid.

A roguelike arrow/ability defense with a satisfying gameplay loop and plenty of customization/upgrades. Limiting the number of genesis stones/hero souls that can be earned (before metaprogression) is a bad mechanic as it can disincentivize finishing runs and the optimal way to grind is to quickly abandon after you hit 10 of each. If this game continues to receive updates like dungeon maker it is well worth the money.
Other reviews have correctly pointed out the obvious issues in need of fixing, and we hope these things are addressed in future updates. That said, theres lots to enjoy here, and Im looking forward to playing more.
Its a solid game concept using a lot of the same ideas from their previous games, but considering we enjoy their previous work, we happen to enjoy this, too. But, its not as ready as Dungeon Maker is for wider appeal. Theres no tutorial to explain what youre doing or why, theres not an easy way that Ive found to check what your monsters skills do, except for when youre picking them, the localization could use some work here and there, and the metaprogression elements could be a little more generous because right now they feel very stingy with post-run rewards. Overall, Id say its a solid start, and Ill certainly be sticking with it, but it needs more development before Id call it complete.
Disappointing that companies still do this. Will remove review if this ever changes.
This is same group that made Dungeon Maker, and its obvious. This game seems to borrow a lot of similar concepts with a slightly different presentation. Problem is that this game needs a large number of updates before Id consider it ready for public release. Issues that need addressing: 1) No instructions whatsoever. 2) No idea what starting mob to pick or any description of what they do. 3) Active skills are a mess in terms of usage and seeing them on screen. 4) Drop descriptions are vague, why should we pick item A over option B? 5) Get a random power/debuff from event. No idea what it does It seems like a solid framework for a game, it just needs far more work. This should be communicated if youre going to charge money.
