Community Insight:

Ive been playing this on and off for a week and we finally made it out of the chapel. We love to play dungeon crawlers like this one. It makes you think, and theres no pressure to rush through and miss things. Hence, crawling and thinking, not button mashing and praying youll make it. We also like playing rpgs solo and so far this doesnt disappoint. If it stays good, Ill support the developer with some purchases. Theres no forced ads either, unless you want some rewards from it. Well, enough chit chat and more playing.

We really enjoy the innovation this game shows. The developers of this game clearly arent afraid to take risk and in our opinion, it paid off. Its really refreshing to see Devs on this format trying something new. This is a great game and Im sure the developers have many more great games on the way with hopefully Simular formats. We absolutely love the turn based format, as someone whos really into things like tabletop rpgs, like dnd. Great job to you Devs, this game really has that dnd feel to it. Please make more like these in the future. We think the ceiling is high.

Its great game love the gameplay amazing story but needs more details as in tutorials to help but great game.

Developer is right in that this game is an old school rpgand we mean that in a good way. Turn based and gives you time to strategize. You can lose yourself in the game in no time as you wander around. Item drops are good and picking up an additional party member early in the game was an added bonus. First battle or 2 had us thinking we could use just a bit of extra help and thenBAMhere they were! Enjoying the game so far and Ive even gladly dropped a dime here and there to help the developer out and add to the game, though Ill admit, the game is really kinda generous in the beginning. Not overly so, but certainly more than we were expecting. Alright. Now its your turn to give this old school rpg PC like game a shot.

We enjoy it, simplistic but a good rpg. What we don't like is that his other games use some AI art, and it kind of alienates us.

Love this old school RPG that plays so much like ones we played decades ago. THANK YOU for making it turn-based! We are just too old and slow to play twitch games, lol. We love being able to find stuff, though we are soon going to run out of space (well, to be honest, we are constantly having to sell and salvage and run to the trader as already we do run out of space). One thing that we would find helpful, is to have an easy way to know what the icons mean. So, for example, we see we can pay for inventory space, or get what looks like a chest, but we are not sure what the difference is. We would like to know before buying. And on the map completion reward section, it starts with an icon that we assume is invisible doors, then we are not sure what the other icons are, so we are not sure what we are looking for to complete the map. But wow, already it is our favorite game to play when on our own. We feel like we are far along at level 7, but then we look at the cost of spells, and wow, nope, need to get more money fast. Anyway, Thank you and we cannot wait for more content.

We just downloaded Moonshades too LOVE THEM. Even bought Moonshades on Switch for 5 bucks for the better experience but this is free. Please port this to Switch! Love the turn based combat better.

Please keep developing this golden content.

New feature request: Add an option to auto end combat turn when no options are left in the turn (instead of having to press X).

We like the game a lot. Music is delightful and such an old game feeling. Sometimes the movement gets old so you need to stop playing which can be a good thing. Our biggest complaint is just that we cant get runes to attach to gear with sockets and cant find any help with this.

Its been a while since Ive been looking for a game like this and we finally found it, only to find out its not complete please Finnish the game its so good.

Great game. Reminds us of old wolfenstien 3d and wizardry games. Little disappointed that the game stops you at a gate saying stay tuned for more. Will there be an update. Great work so far though. Keep up the good work.

We enjoy games like these thank you Victor.

We think this game is phenomenal as is its predecessor Moonshades.

Fun brings back memories of old.

We wrote a glowing review before and we stand by that, the game is wonderful. The depth and surprises are all really nice and keep us wanting to play for hours on end. Unfortunately, it does not allow for any external controls such as keyboard, mouse, joystick, trackpad, or anything else. That kind of support is available in every other crawler game on iOS. We play this game on our iPad and would prefer to play it on our Vision Pro however without controls, it is almost impossible to navigate. The games author was kind enough to offer several suggestions, but none of them panned out for us. We dont understand why every game has controls except this one. Even Wandroid which is basically wire frame allows keyboard controls. We believe it would be a very simple addition and we believe many users would utilize it.

Great Game but we need new levels. IT only took a couple of weeks to get through to an abrupt hard stop. When are you releasing new levels and updates.

Just started but it seems like a great game. Cant wait to get deeper in.

We were a big fan of Moonshades, so we were very excited to play Duskfall. Unsurprisingly, Duskfall is another excellent installment in the series, and we are absolutely loving it so far. It is a great game which we highly recommend if you are a fan of turn based dungeon crawlers.

This is an excellent, well balanced game. It brings back the good old days of secret rooms, random drops, and compelling missions. We really want an update! We made it to the end of available content, and Im jonesing for more. We would gladly watch adds or pay real money for more content. Im addicted.

Amazing game just wish there was a portrait mode. Controls feel a little clunky in landscape.

We downloaded this not expecting to love it as much as we have. Fun dungeon/world crawling gameplay and combat with good character customization and RPG elements. And it has a good story for a free game. If you love turn based RPGs, you have to try this.

So far the game is great. Good job.

This is one of the tops games. It has a classic feel and its free. Wish we had more games like this in the App Store.

Love the game until we couldnt do anymore (character topped out, new sections and areas not ready) Cant do much else – when is update happening? Need to make a choice to keep or delete.

This game really keeps your attention and really makes you think. We like it.

Very well done; cant wait for more content!! Runs without a glitch on iPad Pro.

Great game so far. Hopeful it will continue.

Super fun game. Well balanced. Thank you for taking the time to keep our beloved old school dungeon crawler rpgs alive and well. Looking forward to more content.

We remember the old school turn based RPG. This brings it back.

Downloaded three games. This is easiest and best to get started.

Was looking for a non gacha turn based rpg(not a fan of sliding our fingers around). Slightly disappointment when we saw we had to move about, it we pushed past it and am happy we did. So far game is great for us, just left the initial dungeon. Im excited to continue. Great game so far, scratched the itch.

Like the old school Wizardry series, assemble a party, crawl through dungeons, explore towns and outdoors and try to stay alive. Action is turned based during encounters and can be affected by how you run into the adversaries, surprise the enemy, or be ambushed. Exploring the environments is fun and finding new items and opening chests is done by way of touching the items on screen; examples: skeletons of the dead, barrels, urns and chests. Good mood setting background music with animations that are clean and visually appealing. One thing we found useful is that there is a section of the store where you can watch videos for rewards as opposed to being in game. This is one of those games where your next turn can be danger. Hearing footsteps of your adversaries is also quite unnerving overall great game and we highly recommend it to those who enjoy this type of first person party adventure.

We grew up playing games like this, brings us back.

Reminds us of the old style NWN or Baldurs gates games. You can tell the designer had a love for the old school first edition DND games. Perfect easy going game to kill a few hours with.

We absolutely love these types of games and Duskfall brings us back to our favorite in all aspects! We cant wait for more! We keep playing over and over, great job.

The best OG for dungeon crawler. Takes us back to younger days. You can customize your character or take a preset up character. We very-very rarely spend money on games. Usually a waste to us but this was worth some gems. Hopefully we will see an Duskfall 2 or some additional maps Love the game ! You wont be sorry.

This was one of the best games Ive played in a long time. The game is fair, it leads you where you need to go while making you think, its just hard enough to be fun without being impossible. We didnt have to look anything up we got stuck a few times but we just read our quest and Ive figured it out. We wasnt pestered by ads every action. Its was like playing an old school game we had fun thank you so much to this developer for his time and effort.

Love this turn based old school RPG. Is fun to play. Looking forward to the next levels.

Not a bad game so far. Havent made it very far, but we see ourselves playing till completion.

Just got into it. Usually not this far before deleting app. Its a keeper. Cant wait to see how it develops! Great job.

Duskfall reminds us of playing RPG games when we were a kid. Download the game and that an adventure.

As an OG gamedev (started at sierra online as an artist/animator in 1997 on QfG5, and still going) and avid gamer since the 70s, we really love what you've done here. We have one question and a critique- Questions: So ready for the next expansion- when will this arrive? Do you need help? Lol. Critique: As a completionist, we are highly frustrated when we cannot find missing collectables or cannot access areas that imply they are unlockable. We have played through standard, Elite 1 & Elite 2- and multiple areas are killing our completionist itch. 1. Forest: we are always at 18/19 missing 1 pickup item. Either a vase, barrel or some misc. Pickup. Gah!!! 2. Cirrane: 3 items a. The house inside the locked gate with the buried treasure in the back corner b. The locked 2 story house in front of the gardeners house. * if these are red herrings we would suggest remove the locked gate so we can access the treasure, and replace the other with a standard building where nothing happens at the door c. The cursed merchant: treasure map 6 is missing (skeleton merchant in Forest has 1-3, looter Merchant in destroyed village has 4, and cursed Merchant in Cirrane has 5+7-10). Where is 6?!? 3. Stoneheart Path: Similar to forest & Cirrane, we cannot find the last hidden door nor access the buried treasure (as it is outside the playable area). We really hope you are able to address these so we can slay the completionist dragon in our head. Anyhow, thank you so much for this game.

We really enjoy playing this game! The only problem we have is with the Trials, the button for the fourth trial is unplayable and we cant get further than the third.

A lot of the games released today require more twitch than actual brains. Its nice to see a great turn-based dungeon crawl that looks great and plays well. Thanks for the care put into the game. Keep up the excellent work.

Few games pull off the classic turn-based RPG feel right, and this one is among them.

Hey v we sent you a review on Duskfall mixed it up with Moonshades which we loved by the way but our last review was for Duskfall your a great developer we know both games are top of the line in their respective fields. Im old school and pre fer turn based games though Thank you so much for your time in developing the games and getting back to us we are definitely supporting you and anything you put out to anyone out there who loves dnd and old school great stories and play you will not find anything close to these two masterpeice games thanks again v looking forward to the next Duskfall update hope all is well by the way any estimated timeline on the next Duskfall update hope all is well.

Great game, though we are unable to find a key to open some of the gates.

Reminds us of the old school RPGs we used to play with our brother, Im enjoying it immensely.
