In this title, you can use a CD database to obtain your monsters. Search through the database and

All monster stats, such as their health, strength, and resilience, are directly affected by the work and training you put them through.
And by praising and scolding their achievements, you can help them grow even further!

Community Insight:
This is a really nice port of one of our favorite games of our childhood. The new monster breeding system is a great update from the old cd system. However, PLEASE ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!! We prefer gaming with a controller to touch controls because of motor skill issues and its just easier and would add some new accessibility for us. Thanks for bringing Monster Rancher back to us all the same.
Silly how an advanced app wont autosave. Lost hours of playing progress. So dumb.
But theres a lot to dig into, as well! Also, the Random and History buttons are the best things to happen to the shrine. We hope to see more Monster Rancher titles localized in the future.
We had this for PS1 as a kid and used to love putting in all the random CDs to see what you get! Dont have that here but its good enough.
