First the game itself is pretty straight forward. A really great story, even though it was a pretty quick bonus chapter. Otherwise this is a game that is worth it. The gameplay itself is pretty normal when it comes to these games. The hops do repeat, but it does not take away from the game any we m o. The absolute best part of the game is the challenging puzzles. This is above average in that department. Well made, loved it all. FANTASTIC!!!

Beautiful graphics, teleporting map, wonderful storyline, and collectible dragons hidden in scenes. Nice bonus… The little blue gem in the top left of screen shows how many dragons are in each scene.

Not our favorite (that would be Big Fish’s Enigma series) but we do like it. One thing we wish all these games had. A restart button!

Great game. Long and full of puzzles which you can make as hard or easy as you want by using the skip or hint. Great map and ok strategy guide ( it could be more detailed with some of the puzzle solutions.) The story line was just weird enough to make it interesting and unique. Liked the graphics, too.

Graphics, voice characterization, storyline, puzzles, HOS all good. Looking forward to next chapter in the series.

Played a few years ago and returned recently. We had forgotten how we had enjoyed this game then and same is true this time. Really recommend this one.

Really enjoyed this game … Good story, great graphics, and a nice length.

Rarely do we review without finishing, but we are totally enjoying this story! We love that each next step makes sense. The artwork is colorful and lovely. And, who does not love a dog by your side?

Hard enough to be a fun challenge without being irritating. We’re liking this one quite a bit.

Challenging, but not enough to make you insane (if you arent already). Liked the story line and beautiful graphics.

Loved everything about it. All around, engaging story, pretty decent length. Solid game.

Fantastic game! Very challenging and sometimes the puzzles are hard to get! You will not be disappointed.

… We love having a dog as our partner! We love how the mini games have been set up! We love the graphics AND the music! It has such a good feel of success when Im successful in each quest! The Hidden Objects games have been a real challenge and discovering for myself what works is a delight! Ok, gotta go back and find Ice… Later! ***Um, Opinion02112 … Its a place full of MAGIC….. Maybe Ices nose was stuffed up…. We loved the Footprint puzzles. Even mixing them up was a challenge…. MORE, please! ***Im about to start the Bonus Round. We must say that 48% of the puzzles in the regular game were too difficult for us, and our brain is not a slouch! Having a (very hard-I failed) puzzle just before the end left a bad taste in our mouth and we could not enjoy the ending. That, we think, was a mistake. Later, after bonus!*****Ummm, Can we ask a question? Ok….. Why are ALL your reviews 3 years old…. Ours isnt up either and its been a fair and honest review! Are you out of Business? How does THAT work if your games are still being offered? Is support working?

We have played a few games lately that were dark & gloomy. This game has pretty graphics, and logical next steps. We wish we could find more like this game.

Attention: Five BN has just released their new game "Lost Lands: The Wanderer." we can’t wait to play! We are treated here to a delightful and whimsical fantasy of magic, wizards, and sorcery. You are the chosen bearer of a powerful and mystical ring; and you set out to save a kingdom from an evil and oppressive Queen of Shadows, who is bent on destroying it. Along your journey, you are accompanied by a lovable and good-natured canine, Ice, whom the kingdom has chosen to guide you along. You also encounter fantastical creatures that enhance your adventure, such as a giant fire-breathing dragon that can communicate with you. The graphics are unspectacular as they appear muddy and unpolished; the colors can vary in brightness and tone depending on the scene. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like; items require assembly. The teleport map enables brisk transport to labeled locations and indicates available actions. You are given an "all-in-one" journal to consolidate some features, such as your map and tasks, into one general location. Some of the HOS are story driven whereas you find items in accordance with narrative text; others are cleverly interwoven within the actions in progress. For example, Ice will see something in the pond below him; and then you tip over a rock to release a flood of water. Consequently, a HOS will initiate in which you find items while Ice sits by and watches. The varied puzzles are imaginative in their simplicity. They might suit the storyline and can be introduced in accordance with certain predicaments; namely, the one where Ice has the soldier’s sword tip in his mouth as you lead him to the shore while avoiding the monster arms. You find dragons throughout the scenes, and they can blend in well against the background. To sum it up, this is a glitch-free and engaging game with enough activity that you are consistently traversing from one area to the next. The abundance of overall interaction is satisfying; and even though some of the puzzles repeat, they, together with the HOS, are creative and entertaining. Is this an extraordinary game? No. But it’s a step up from the last one. A decent four stars for us this time.

We enjoyed playing but we felt there were too many games to play and not enough hidden objects. But as a whole we had a great time playing.

This was an enjoyable, long game with a lot of creative twists. We loved learning new things with the ring, as well as other things like making myself invisible. The free trial was just O.K. And we hesitated buying the full version. However, we did and we’re glad we did as it got much better after that. Even though we enjoyed it, there was just something lacking… The storyline and scenes did not seem to flow together well for some reason, and we found myself a bit confused as to what exactly the next goal was at times. That being said, this is a solid game with plenty to do and challenging puzzles/mini games. A good game for HOP lovers.

This was an enjoyable game all around. Graphics were solid (not fantastic but well done), no glitches, eclectic array of puzzles, excellent map and fairly imaginative story. We wouldn’t recommend paying full price but on sale, it’s a definite must buy. Finally it was of decent length, both the main campaign and the bonus chapter.

Would be a whole lot better if map actually works the way it is supposed to. Otherwise ok.

Note to Izzyoc: they deleted your review? How rude! How can we petition for more games? Big Fish should know that if we, the DTE, are constantly reviewing and are in some way responsible for gamers buying, that they should give us more games. Thanks for the heads-up about Five-BN UK. We love their games! They usually earn a full 5 stars from us and we rarely rate that high! Note to lil’ Jo: Welcome back! We hope you are well! You are wrong. You are a good reviewer and you always had our back, so if you want it, please remain on the DTE (I upgraded us to Elite, and we are) and we at least got trials back! Please start bugging BigFish, team! Two games a week in this genre are not enough for any of us! Thank you, our amazing team! Finally we played this enchanting and magnificent game, and it played flawlessly! Why do we not see more from this developer? This game was more enjoyable to play than games by EIPIX, Elephant and Mad Head, and it was totally gorgeous! We don’t need to list all the features; our amazing team got there first! Thank you, especially to the vociferous and wonderful KimTwilight. We wish that there had been a cohesive diary; although tasks were regularly updated we didn’t exactly understand the storyline. Loading was not instantaneous between locations but the lag time was still very quick. We would also have liked to see more variation in the HO scenes. The graphics were not as crisp as they could have been but they were totally gorgeous and exquisite! A lot of the puzzles were boring rotational junk but you need to challenge yourself and try them. We loved the gimmick in this game! It was a joyride acquiring magic powers for your ring, and each power had its own mini-game associated with it, and they were quick and fun to do. The game was lengthy with a bonus adventure and there was a lot to do at each location. At least the only collectibles were the dragons. We braved the couple of rodents on a loop and we are glad that we did, because otherwise we would have missed out on a fabulous game. Our actual review is 4.5 stars. We only deducted a half star due to lack of an actual journal, and also because it was very easy to accidentally back tap to a prior location due to the grouping of the map, looking glass and menu buttons. We would play a sequel tomorrow! IMPORTANT UPDATE: ALL PLAYERS WHO EXPERIENCED EXTREMELY LONG LAG TIMES IN WITCHES’ LEGACY, PLEASE EMAIL BIGFISH! ELEFUN WILL NEVER CORRECT THIS ISSUE UNLESS WE FLOOD THEM WITH EMAILS! THE MORE BIGFISH GETS, THE BETTER THE LIKELIHOOD OF CORRECTING THIS PROBLEM! IF ELEFUN DOESN’T FIX IT WE NEED TO BOYCOTT THEIR NEXT GAME! Lynxie sends to the DTE and all the wonderful reviewers who follow us, trust us and know we are spending money and giving you honest answers so you don’t have to waste your valuable time and money, and become aggravated over your games! Remember we are BigFish’s worst nightmare!

1/27/17 01:07a.m. We purchased this game before any of the DT wrote any reviews, something we said we would never do again. But we did purchase it after the trial period because we enjoyed what we had played up until the trial was over. We are not a good reviewer, not even a so-so but we wanted to give Lynxie a heads up. We did finish the game & thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was decent, the graphics good, customizable difficulty setting, transporting map, collectible dragons that prove to be a bit of a challenge to find some of them, different types of games and clear but some times difficult HOs. Lynxie, we only found one very small mouse, one rat & 3 snakes. Both mouse & rat were in separate HOs. And the mouse, you really had to look hard for it. We enjoyed this game & felt it was worth the price. Good luck & happiness to all! Be safe, ~Jo.

Just started playing but this seems like an awesome game. Not a lot of jumping around back and forth, items are used in a logical order and so far zero glitches!! There is a map and a super cute dog that is your partner in crime, we think is game is going to be a big fat winnerfinally a great game!!

HEADS UP: NEW LOST LANDS FROM FIVE-BN OUT TODAY!! From 4 Friends Games. After you adopt Ice, the golden retriever at the shelter, you get whisked off to a strange land where you have to (you guessed it) save the land. Not a terribly original story (reminded us of the Four Lands games from Five-Bn with the wise wizard who summons you) but somehow we found myself drawn in. Maybe it was the sheer doggy goofiness of Ice but we wanted to keep playing after the demo ended. Custom mode of play, fairly linear mode of play, collectible dragons in most scenes (nice pull-out icon on the LHS of the screen will show you how many dragons are left to find). Lynxie – our Dark Dimensions review got mysteriously deleted as did our earlier response to your question, but we are with you on trying to get more Big Fish game releases. We suspect their main revenue is from PC/Mac game releases since most of the games seem to go through that platform first; however if enough of us petition Big Fish, we may make enough of a revenue opportunity for them to consider converting more games to iOS. In the meantime, we’ve been enjoying Broken Age – some of the dialog is absolutely hilarious! We also have the Broken Sword series in queue and am going to be replaying Melissa K and the Heart of Gold. Upcoming Games from Big Fish Games: (# stars is average review on BigFishGames. Com for the PC or Mac version, date is the day the game was first released on any platform – usually PC or Mac) Witches’ Legacy: Awakening Darkness (3.9 stars, Elefun, Dec. ’15) Mysteries of the World: Born of Clay and Fire (4.1 stars, Epic, Mar. ’16) Chimeras: Cursed and Forgotten (3.8 stars, Elephant Games, May 16) Phantasmat: Town of Lost Hope (3.5 stars, Eipix, Apr. ’16)

Boring, not enough transitions.

First, we love the dog! He’s the best part of the game. The only HO scene in the free selection was a "find the shape," which we dislike. The other puzzles were boring, like match pairs of footsteps, and put together a map that’s in 4 pieces. Maybe it was designed for kids? The graphics are good. The map, we looked at, but didn’t use, so we can’t judge it. The hint was fine. The hidden dragons are not easy to find, which made it more interesting. But, the game was a bore. And, just an FYI, a dog’s nose could find the human scent without any help, which made that section even more lame.

It seems to us like the game and bonus had scenes and/or tasks removed. The ad for the game suggested that the dog would be used throughout the game. In fact, the dog was hardly used at all. The bonus ended so abruptly that it felt like our car slammed into a brick wall. Some parts were fun, while others were tedious or nonexistent. No Ears or Artifex Mundi here.

Kept skipping and freezing in the video sections so we didn’t buy it. Shame, because it seemed like it could be fun. And yes we uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, restarted our device etc.

We’ve played many games of this type and was looking forward to this one but we couldn’t get that chest/ bag whatever it was that was in the water. We’ve been at it for most of the day. What is the trick?

Its the second game we buy within a couple of weeks and after chapter 4 it doesnt work anymore. Can you do something to fix it or to reimburse us!!

Couldnt get past the second scene, the pond. The hint didnt tell us what to do. There was no skip. We tried and tried, but finally had to give up. Glad others liked it. We might have if we could have kept going.
