EXPLORATION, PUZZLES AND AN EXCITING STORY IN A UNIQUE SETTING

Embracelet puts you in the role of Jesper, a Norwegian teenager who lives with his mom in the city.
One day he is handed an old bracelet by his Grandfather who grew up in a fishing community up north. This bracelet has powers – strange, mysterious powers!

Community Insight:

We loved the story in this game! It was sweet and engaging. The controls to make Jesper move are frustrating at times, but that is the only negative we found. We finished the game last night and loved it!!! We gave it 4 stars due to the need to tweak the movement of characters.

This guy's other game, "Milkmaid of the Milky Way" [MotM] is pretty good! But this …. This we cannot reccommend in good consious. There's a twitch component to "Embracelet" that mysteriously goes unmentioned, a component missing from MotM, which is one of the reasons why it's good. We play adventure games to deliberately avoid games where twitchiness is needed. If you think this is something that has a place in adventure games, then "Embracelet" is for you! However, if you also don't see it that way, then, like the title of this review says: approach with caution.

We love the game and the story so far. But its almost ruined by the awkward movement of the character and the stubborn camera. Please rework the jostick, even better give us controller support too so we can play Embracelet on the big screen, where it belongs. And use the upper half for camera movement by swiping please. We hope you address this in a coming update, cant wait to give you 5 stars then. UPDATE: Reduced to 1 star. Above still applies, but we wont waste any more time with these horrible, imprecise and simply not working controls. The only thing worse is the camera that NEVER looks the way we want it to. You managed to make a good game totally unplayable. Fix this thing already and add controller support. Arent you even embarrassed to sell something like that? UPDATE II: Hi Mattis, we believe Controller Support would help, IF at the same time you make the character less jumpy. We really want to play the game, but right now its way more frustrating than fun. Free camera would be optimal, if this is not possible, maybe you could make it more intelligent for lack of a better word.

We enjoyed the adventure itself, but the joystick-style controls were ineffective on iphone 8 and it felt like it took forever to walk from place to place- it was hard to get the character to walk straight ahead. We would have preferred a different style of controls like tap to walk. The game is still worth buying though-pretty lengthy gameplay and unique story. This was similar to the game Oxenfree in a lot of ways, so anyone who liked that game would probably like this too.

With 4 stars, we're still early in the game.. We hope. We've gotten the bracelet and went to do grandpa's bidding on the island. So far, it has a seemingly interesting story, beautiful graphics, a couple little puzzles so far..(but mostly clicking at the right time when you need to use the bracelet) it's an expensive game so we're hoping for a loooong story/game at least.. Devs, good job so far, but we'd like suggest to have a way to change the point of view while running place to place. We got stuck a few times at the hole in the road, every time we try to turn around to leave, the game would turn us around and we had to watch the scene where he discovers there's a hole in the road all over again. We actually had to shut the whole game off and restart to leave that scene, & after the whale we had trouble getting back up the way we came, a change of perspective could be very helpful otherwise controls worked fine. Also, maybe a map?.. Thanks looking forward to playing more.

Fun game with a lovely story. Its quite buggy though and will get stuck or crash at many cutscenes. At this point, Im now at an impasse and cannot play further past a crash point. Please fix soon so we can finish the story.
