This game is awesome, and so is the superhero game which we'd also highly recommend. Both have such great gameplay loops that make you want to just keep playing one more turn. These games are also very customizable from difficulty to how you start. We enjoy a relaxing experience and just slowly building up our tv company. It's honestly such a fun game and we highly recommend it.

We enjoy the game and especially now with the new update but we had a few ideas which could be implemented into the game -awards for different categories,best actor,best sci-fi show etc -be able to have more episodes in a season and not be limited to 13 -be able to have contracts with actors,directors,writers,and also streaming services -able to buy and create a streaming service -be able to have subsidiaries -able to choose a city where our studio is based on -able to choose a filming location -be able to create our own custom script -be able to also buy "rights" of other shows -be able to create movies.

We really enjoyed TV Tycoon. Its a very great game.

Somewhat reminiscent of the MadTV pc game. If you love turn based management games you will love this game.

Have Sales for different seasons or themes: people like saving money for other purposes and sales help them achieve this and lead to people subscribing long term after seeing the benefits the subscription offers and might refer to friends to subscribe too 4. Coupon Codes: another thing people like is coupons physical or digital so coupon codes make sense for people who have budgets or like to collect coupons and people also like the names of coupon codes because they are often catchy and easy to use and type Hope these suggestions help you keep making the game good and fun and help get funds for development easier.

The fact that it literally just started with a guy and hopes and dreams makes it all that much better. This game is amazing if we could, we would play it all day every day.

Ive been an ultimate subscriber and this game is so fun! The developer is so mindful of what the players want and responsive to bugs.

Great we love that its 99% free unless you wish to pay for cosmetic changes. The game has so much customization and freedom to play however you want. We wish there was more factors for what makes a show good Thats great news to hear although we wish when we work so hard to make our studios and an update happens we have to start ALLLLL OVER AGAIN if we want the new stuff.

We truly love this game, its almost a perfect game for us and for any tycoon loversbut! There is one thing we would like to suggest, importing your own photos for the shows would be cool, the possibility to create our own artwork and import it (Like in RAPSTAR for example) makes the game more fun, but it should be optional. Except that this game is amazing.

So as Im trying to find how to create a channel in the game, we see that in the changelogs, to create a network, you need to wait until the NEXT UPDATE!!! This is really making us angry as this one was practically just giving them the right to allow them to have in their description you can create networks.

Love the new update!!! We have one suggestion, we wish there was an apply all button when adjusting scores and budgets of tv shows that are renewing. Like how you can apply the same ad to all shows. It will be a huge time saver!! Thanks again.

Only played a bit but we like it so far. Menus could provide a bit more info, for instance what the different rooms do before building them.

Love everything about this game, a tv show sim done right. Just find the end week times to get extremely slow around year 20. We have a pretty good phone aswell. Other than that, game is fantastic.

Ive been having a blast managing our studio and creating TV shows in this game! The level of detail and customization makes it so enjoyable, and we love how creative we can be with our projects. However, we think the game would be even more amazing with the ability to create feature films. It would open up so many more possibilities, like expanding into sequels and creating massive franchises! As someone who enjoys building out entire cinematic universes, this would add a new layer of excitement and strategy. Managing both TV shows and feature films would really capture the true essence of running a studio. We hope to see this feature in future updates! Overall, this game is fantastic, but adding feature films and the ability to develop sequels and franchises would make it perfect.

We love playing this game, but its almost unplayable when you are making a show with a streaming service, and they schedule the season for at least 3 years in the future. And due to studio level you are unable to make another show in that time period, leaving you to have to just sit idly skipping weeks for 3 years. This piled with the fact that the end week button is buggy a lot and slow, so having to click that 150+ times just to be able to do any other action gets frustrating.

First off we just want to say this game is amazing! We love the thought put into this game. But, the weeks take forever, so we say add some kind of faster week development or just have a time skip feature. Amazing game.

Ive been playing this game for years. For so long that the building wasnt a thing, many features were nonexistent or at least different. Relatively the game has stayed the same base wise, and its really fun. However, Ive noticed a few new issues that are bugging us badly. First of all, when you create a new studio, and you successfully pitch a show to a cable network, its basically a death wish. Thats because they schedule it far in the future. For example, we finished a show by Y1 WK20. They scheduled it for Y3 WK16. Thats TWO years in game which is quite insane. We cant do another tv show in the meantime because we just started and our level is not high enough. So, we have to pain fully wait, not to mention the turn based system is slower than it used to be. Not only that but it drains the studios money. Even if you have multiple other shows, thats a very poorly designed feature by a gameplay standpoint, not a matter of realism. Also, the ai generated cover arts are kind of silly. It would be fine if it allows the player to upload a custom cover art as well, since the ai generated ones arent the best.

After a bit, it takes so long to load every week. And some shows get scheduled so far out its kind of annoying that theres no way to skip more than 1 week ahead.

We like the game a lot. We want to be ads free. But Im not paying a monthly sub for it. If you guys ever offer a one time fee for it as well as other features, Id consider it more. Games like this we tend to gravitate towards more, like before BitLife really blew up. So like a one time payment for super features and then later developed features and whatnot like with them is something Im willing to do, but not a monthly payment. Mostly because we dont play these games enough on a daily or monthly basis to consider continuously giving money for it. Id say considering the love we see you guys Id be willing to do a one time of 9.99 USD for that kind of one time unlock. But because of the lack of choice for the ad removal and such, we wont be playing in short bursts of obsessiveness like we normally do. Ill check back sometimes to see if you guys offer those deals. EDIT: 5/2/24 we checked back and we might be remembering wrongly but we think you ONLY had the monthly before. The yearly is more reasonable, and we intend to buy it. However even though it is a better option than monthly, it is not what we truly want. But thinking of it, Im not sure how many people WOULD buy a lifetime pass yet if it was available, only because the game is still so new and developing. So no added star yet. But we do hope that more people play and see this. Simple yet entertaining, and it is a very largely unfulfilled niche that a few games Ive played in the past had stuck with us and it is what convinced us to try it. But still, we think its pretty awesome now though. We do NOT however agree with the current yearly price for level two. It seems a bit steep, also seems a bit isolationist, to offer what Id presume to call the group who pays for their words to be most if not ALL the weight when it comes to the future development direction. (we however doubt that the team would blatantly ignore ALL free user opinions or never consider them) we could definitely understand saying that free users have 1 vote each on a survey for features and VIP users have two or 3 votes to put towards different choices IF they would like, or only towards one. Either way, it could prove to be interesting maybe. We still like the game even if we never purchase lvl 2. Thanks for your hard work and passion dev team! EDIT 8/15/24 – so we were enjoying the new feature of being able to select a poster for the show youre making. Finding out that a plots corresponding poster is locked behind the sub paywall is really saddening. Our joy at the updates since our last play was destroyed. We have a psychological need for symmetry, matching and perfection for as far as is reasonable. We will be deleting the game until, hopefully the one time payment for permanent VIP status is available. If it never is, well theres a Japanese game studio that makes pixel games and they have TV, Movies and Anime games (all different games) and much, MUCH more. For the same price we would pay for a monthly tier 2 subscription for this we can buy 1 of their games and keep it FOREVER in fact we have like 90% of their games usually about 5.99 give or take depending, some of them are free even (though we dont like those). This game specifically reminded us of the Movies from early 2000s but modernized and in text format we dont want anyone to think that Im hating on this project, we just dont agree with the devs monetization choices. And we hope that by Dec 2025, Ill be able to pay a one time price to unlock all that content, but Im not going to sub just to basically get DLC like this is a large game franchise on steam, which we still dont sub to (we buy a game and all the DLC we want to keep, not rent it). But Im gonna remove the game from our phone, and hopefully remember it later to check back in. But yeah we think that choice of paywall placement is pretty foolish and definitely made us give up the idea of buying a yearly sub at some point and settle firmly only on a one time all features and future features unlock for this game. But we do hope that the game does well and gets better.

We wish you would add awards like Emmy or Golden Globe to the series.

Can please just hire an artist on fiverr or do yall own graphic design. Cause the promo image feature is cool but the ai images make us uncomfortable.

So we feel like it would be easier if you made it so certain showrunners can work on one show until all episodes of it are finished because if you have multiple shows its gonna take a long time to finish all of those up. We still love the game though but thats something we feel like should be added.

This is an excellent game that fills a need thats been in the gaming world for a while. This team is absolutely excellent and works hard every week to develop the game and keep it fresh! We can never just abandon the game, everytime we come back there are like 10 new major features added! So happy for this dev team and we are so happy we are a part of this community :).

This game is really good. Yall are probably the first people to do a tv show simulator correctly. The only thing we hope for is for us to end the show on our own terms but Im pretty sure yall will get there eventually. No doubt. Overall we cant wait for new updates to come. Also the ads arent bad or bothering our gameplay. The price for ad-free also is very reasonable. 10/10.

Ive had so much fun in the past playing this game and recently the creators have been putting a lot of love into this with regular updates and fan polling and its very nice to see.

The game no cap is really good. We love simulation games and this is a great one. It has a small learning curve thats easy to get the hang of and we honestly only see this game getting bigger and better.

The concept is fun, but the fact that the in game ads are just ads about the game and trying to get people to do a MONTHLY subscription is wild. The game is decent but not good enough for a subscription. Being that its a few years old we are confused on why the devs stuck to a subscription model. And the ad popping up ever 2-3 turns makes us want to delete the game. Edit: Adding this bit due to developer response. One time purchase would be a better option. We dont think its a great business model to force a subscription because with the way ads are set up right now, at times the game seems unplayable. Again, being that this game is a few years old it shouldnt still be a subscription model.

Wonderful game should be able to have are own streaming or broadcast channels when we reach a certain level.

The ad pop ups are insane especially because the ad in question is an ad for the game Im already playing. We get they need subscribers to help pay but every 10 minutes an ad for the game Im playing isnt going to help.

Its a very fun game that runs really smooth and doesnt have many bugs. But we just feel like its missing something like we said its a great game and its very fun but we just needs more.

Alright we are a huge fan of this game. The developers really care about their fans and actually put the effort in communicating with us. This game was a simple game when we first played and now it evolved into an insanely awesome game. We really like how frequent the updates are and how they communicate with us. We highly recommend this game. Also Im a level 2 subscriber which means we can vote what update is next which is really cool.

Honestly, the layout change made it harder to play because we cant any of the options. We liked it better when it had the more linear layout.

A great game, recommend everyone check it out – but it is held back a bit by how often ads come around. Rather than a one time buyout of ~$5USD, the only options are monthly or yearly subscriptions which seems a bit crazy to us. We first tried this game about two years ago, and while building your actual building is an interesting feature, the thought of having paid enough for a AAA or two in subscriptions for it is definitely questionable. Sorry.

We forgot to mention that the game runs poorly. We have an iPhone 13, so its not like our phone is old or underpowered, however after awhile and especially once got get under sprint 60 percent battery it starts lagging a bit and even crashing from time to time.

We played the game and its a fun game but it freezes and crashes when our phone gets overheated when playing it, we hope the game can get fixed to prevent it from happening, there are many things to add to the game such as spin off shows when the player show becomes successful or actors causing problems with the player that leads to tabloid stories which makes the player to fix the issues with the actor or fire them.

This game is highly recommended!! They are always working on updating the game!!! Our only complaint is we are tired of all the ads, we understand you have to have them but seems like Eve 3-5 minutes an ad pop up and we must watch it for 30 seconds or more.

We want to start this review of by saying this is a FANTASTIC game. The developers clearly care about it, and as this is a passion project, they knocked it out of the park. We can really feel how much thought went into this, and Im kind of amazed. Great job, developers. If youre looking at reviews to get a good basis on what the game is all about, its a game where you are able to create television shows (quite obvious, from the name). There are a number of genres you can choose from, Horror, Sci-Fi, etc, and your company is competing with other companies for dominance and viewership over the Television Industry. You can choose which difficulty you want to start out at; whereas ai studios are more viscous, random events happen more, pitching chances are decreased, Episode budgets are more frugal depending on the network you choose, and the like. Genre type is a huge factor, so just make sure whatever show youre making is part of, or one of the most popular genres that month. Main Cast members you hire are expensive, so dont always go for the more experienced one. Episode count also seems to affect the budget your episodes get, which we honestly wasnt expecting and is a nice little detail we appreciate. All in all, this is a fantastic game. We sink many hours of our free time into this game, and we intend to sink many more. With the constant updates, if there were any negatives we may have had, they disappeared long ago. Issues like veiwercount being an unrealistic 0 for some shows, and episode score requirements being unreasonable have all been addressed, and the devs are doing this not out of profit motive, but out of sheer love for the game. There are ads every once in a while, but thats a minuscule amount to pay for a game like this. You can remove ads by signing up for a monthly membership, which we honestly might do because we want to support these guys. In fact, we were going to write this review a few days ago, but the other day they just released a new update adding the ability to write your own premise of your show, cleaning the UI up, longer episode titles, and bugfixing. This is a fantastic game, and Im glad to have downloaded it in the early stages of development and watching how it has changed over time. Thank you devs for creating this addictive experience, and thank you all for reading this review. With that, Im now off to recreate Babylon 5.
