After you beat the game on easy, the Bots get tougher and tougher. Playing through the levels over and over is fun. Plenty of variety since there are ten levels with varied Bots to fight and weapons to dodge. Roll, jump, or take cover. You can customize your own Bot with upgrades. Seriously great game for the low price.
Best game on tablet people need this in there life.
The developers really care about this game. The game is pretty old but they decided to port it to 64-Bit anyways. They are active on Twitter and will reply to questions and comments tweeted to them.
We’ve been playing epoch for years and we still love this game.
Controls and story are above average and difficulty should please the casual to serious player.
But as time has gone on the game has gotten hella repetitive. We really wish theyd add more modes and bigger bosses.

Good gameplay, some new ideas, and a good upgrade system. Absolute madman game devs make a Nazi Germany joke in the last news headline. Almost perfect, but main story is too short. Almost 5 years later, this is still one of our favs.
This is the third time we’ve re-downloaded this game, and its fun every time. The story is interesting, the mechanics are cool, and the weapons are awesome.
So we were playing this when it took us out of the game and reset it.
We’ve played this on our old phone when the game first came out. We played it for ages and now Im playing it again on a new phone. One thing we’ve noticed comparing the older version of the game is the lighting. In the old version, we could actually see what was going on on the screen, and in the scrapyard we could see what our robot looks like with different equippment. The new version of the game changed the lighting so much that everything is unnecessarily bright, theres so much white on the robot, and it doesnt look cool anymore when we put on different equippment. We wish there was an option to change the lighting effect.
When you play this game for the first time, all difficulties besides "Easy" are locked. On "Easy," almost every level in this game is a cakewalk, with the exception of the actually-somewhat-challenging final boss. Then, when you beat the game, all the other difficulties are unlocked. Now, you can play the exact same levels you just breezed through, except presumably harder. We say "presumably," because after a d*** move like that, we’re not touching this again. The sad part is that there are still a lot of collectible in-game logs to find on higher difficulties, and they’re actually entertaining to read. But they’re not worth playing the game itself. In retrospect, maybe the developers should have asked themselves whether, out of all the game mechanics the App Store sorely lacks, "cover shooting" was the one that desperately needed to be adapted.
This game is fun and addictive.. A must have in your game vault.

EPOCH. Is a great game. We saw it on the App Store last year, but had no money in our account. Recently, we downloaded the game, and we’ve found 1. The graphics are beautiful. 2. The controls are great for IOS. 3. Well, it’s fun!

This game is BAWS. (Boss) we love the way you play as a robot. It is Sci Fi, we love Sci Fi. It is a shooting game, we shooters. We love all the weapons, armors, boosters, items, missiles, and grenades. It is medium difficulty and a fun, addicting game!
We almost won the game a 10 year old boy almost won the dang game every time when the spider tank opens the three turets we die and the game is stuck it hapend to us twice and we earned a lot of money for armor and a new gun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We mean yeah dramatic title, but it deserves even more than that. If it went up to 1,000,000,000 stars, Dr. Evil from Austin Powers would probably rate it ONE BILLION DOLLARS!
We stumbled upon this game while searching for cool first and third person shooter games in the App Store. We simply looked at the screenshots and assumed it was an fps so we downloaded it. Then we were very disappointed when we started playing and realized it was a touch control game. So we left this game sitting around collecting cyber dust on our iPod until we accidentally opened it one day. So we though we may as well play it. We were surprised at how fun and innovative the gameplay actually was. In the first levels we initially thought it was lame since the robot auto aims, but as you get to more advanced levels, there are perks/abilities that you need to strategically use, in addition to choosing what robots to destroy first and when to switch cover. We now enjoy this playing this game a lot since we’ve never found any other like it thus far. So if you’re looking for a fun game that has an interesting new control scheme, EPOCH would be a great choice.
We’ve been playing it for hours and days and it’s still not boring!
The game is really fun and addicting. There’s more to it than just shooting. You plan your attack.
This is probably the greatest game to ever come to the app store.
