DESCRIPTION
Written by the same Eric that developed the Eric's Solitaire Sample and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire for Mac OS. You can drag and drop or tap cards to move them. You can even throw the cards with a shove! Supports portrait and landscape orientations and has a fantastic user interface.
Spider is one of the most popular variations of solitaire. It's Eric's favorite as it offers lots of room for skill. This version is strictly for iPad.
Your game is saved when you quit or get a call and is quickly restored when you return.

Community Insight:
We use the single deck Spider Solitaire. We love Erics implementation. The graphics are colorful and detailed. We like the hints. Both the glow and wiggle. The animation is usually smooth. There are occasions when a card will get stuck at the peak of the animation. It will freeze on screen at its largest size. This started over a year ago and has stayed in every version since. We have to tap somewhere else on the screen for the card to go back to its normal size. This should be fixed. It happens on any version of iPad and also on iPhone 6 and 8.
FUN GAME – lots of practice helps.
Distracting challenging at the end d a long day.
We've been playing Spider ever since the game came out. It is still our favorite game. We have played over 36,699 games. Our grandkids reseat one of our we pads and we were in the 10's of thousands. Grandmother was not a happy camper. They now know if they touch a game when there is an X jiggling the game disappears. Thanks for inventing this game. Penny.
When we got new iPad the old Erics spider solitaire was unavailable. We have played it for years. This new version does not allow you to drag cards and looks so different. Hope we can get used to it. Very frustrating.
Can you fix the game from freezing every once in a while? 4-14-2018. It is still freezing. Please fix it 10-28-18. It is now freezing every 2 or 3 moves. Very frustrating. Please take the time to figure out what is doing this.
This is far superior to any other spider game we've ever played.
Our favorite spider is the one that came with windows back in 1998. This app is as close as we can get to that one, on our iPad. We like the simple design, that it is not all cluttered up with meaningless graphics.

We like this a bit better than the previous version. We're still unclear on how to do anything that moves the score to something other than "104". Seems, other things being equal, to resolve automatic moves to the left. Overall it has changed our life.
One of our favorite apps/games. We have been playing for years and this game is always fun. It also keeps up with new iOS versions. If you are looking for a spider solitaire game pick this one.
This game is totally addictive. The games are random and never repetitive. Some are easy and some require a "new deal" or two to win. Very enjoyable.

This has been our favorite app since the beginning. It's our go-to game for every time we don't have to use our full concentration. Like on hold on the phone. This game is great! We're only rating this last version. It's sluggish and has delays on each move. The older versions had no delay and was a joy to play.
This version is best by far compared to every other solitaire game we have played. Easy on the eyes too.
Occasionally we get into that we'll play for hours. We have noticed that it starts to repeat itself or go into a loop where the same hands are repeated. We've tried deleting, reboot and downloading, but after a while, it goes into a loop again. Doesn't help when you have photographic memory.
We have played more than a thousand games on the free game site, way more. Decided to buy to rid ourselves of the Ad's. Free site we had only 9 loses and those were while learning the game . Love, love it.

Favorite spider game. Very entertaining.
Graphics are amazing. Only thing missing, unless Im just not seeing it, is statistics on how many moves the player takes to win.It also bugs us when we double tap a card and it doesn't move to the card of the same suit. All in all though, great game.

We are so addicted to this game. We love the wiggly card hints although, we'd like to be able to control the time allowed before they start to wiggle. We like the fact that it is winnable, colorful and it has never crashed.

Love this game. Over and over and over…where did the time go? Good size cards and click to move, easy to learn hard to quit playing. Well done.
The graphics have improved immensely from the original. The game runs real smooth; no more stalled and sticky cards. The sounds are cute and the auto move feature mostly makes sense (sometimes it makes silly choices,but its a computer-duh!). Well worth the $$.
