About Euclidea
Euclidea is a brilliantly original way to learn about, explore and have fun with Euclidian Constructions! Your task is to solve interesting challenges by building geometric constructions with a straightedge and compass. If you design the most elegantly simple solutions in the least number of moves, you’ll earn the highest scores. Solutions are scored in lines (L) and elementary Euclidean constructions (E).
Start Simple and Get Smarter!
Don’t worry if you aren’t a math wizard. Euclidea starts out with simple challenges that guide you through the basics. Once you master the fundamentals, you’ll move on to tougher, more mind-bending challenges such as inner/outer tangents, regular polygons, and more. There are 120 unique challenges in total, which are organized in packs for simpler navigation.
Add Constructions to Your Interface
When you learn certain significant constructions – such as angle bisectors, non-collapsing compass, and so on – they are automatically added to the Euclidea interface’s shortcut, which helps you save time and allows you to create clean, uncluttered drawings.
Easily Drag, Pan & Zoom
Euclidea-created constructions are completely dynamic. As such, you can drag to adjust angles, lines, radii and so on. You can also easily zoom and pan. This not only makes the experience more interactive, but it allows you to more deeply grasp the relationships between geometric elements, explore various possibilities, and analyze errors.
Instant, Automatic Precision
Don’t worry about spending time or effort trying to achieve perfect precision, because Euclidea automatically handles that task by pinning points, lines and circles to the app’s clean interface.

We havent studied Euclidean geometry a lot since we were more interested in other fields in mathematics such as number theory, combinatorics, etc. But whether we have studied geometry or not, this game is still quite challenging for us.
Turning geometry problems into games is great.
We did have to shell $2 for the full game and hints. Worth it. Great game to keep our geometry skills honed for when we will probably never need them.

We're getting to stretch our intuition and memory of geometry so much with this, and learning new concepts fairly often. Very fun.
We're a CAD enthusiast on a high school robotics team and we love making things with shapes all day! This game is perfect for playing while listening to audiobooks since it is very chill and meditative so we can focus on the story while keeping our hands busy. Does wonders for our focus! Would recommend 1000/5 stars for anyone who likes geometry, works in CAD, or just enjoys a good puzzle game. Our one criticism is it wasn't clear from the get-go what E and L moves meant, and we think there should be a little pop-up explanation if you hover/click on the E or L move counters at the top.
Literally a perfect geometry game in basically every single way besides how frustrating it is, but thats part of the enjoyment. There are many tutorials on the Internet if you are ever stuck, but we highly suggest not using them unless your sanity has fully crumbled. Would rate the game 6 out of 5 stars if possible.
Ive played this game for years on various devices. Its incredibly fun and just smooth and perfect. No complaints. However, it is missing any kind of protractor feature. Could this please be added.
Just a wonderfully simple, challenging and educational game. Not only will you learn lots about shapes, youll have a new way of looking at and understanding the world. A really excellent game.

The interface is intuitive and excellent. There are many prominent geometry softwares that can learn from the Euclidea interface.
This is easily our favorite game in AppStore! It is incredibly simple in concept but so much fun and some puzzles are mind blowingly hard! But it's all worth it when you finally get the right answer! We wish ther was an education section to teach some basic concepts because certain things we don't remember from high school and the game doesn't point out so we don't even realize.. But download this now it makes you smarter.

This is the only review Ive ever written for an app because its so good. The perfect blend of challenge, progressively difficult puzzles that facilitate real understanding, and availability of hints. 10/10 recommendation.
Do yall mind making apps like these for kids too or having a toddler level section? It would be great for little learners.
This game (?) definitely makes us think, and consider our years-ago geometry class. Most of the constructions are doable for one star by hacking through and two stars with thoughtful consideration. That third or four star, though tough. We would love to see more simple constructions we often leave off few unsuccessful.
Euclidea is lovely. Engaging puzzles, smooth controls, no ads and IAPs that offer lasting value-adds. One star is lost due to the lack of supplemental education in-app. We find ourselves getting stuck on higher level puzzles without a clue how to approach them, especially for the efficiency stars. We have so far succeeded with Googles help, but having to dig around the internet for key concepts breaks immersion. Dont hold our hand, but listing a few relevant concepts for each puzzle would be invaluable as a jumping-off point for further learning.
We are obsessed with this game, its easily our favorite one we own. Plus its tangibly helped our geometry intuition. Our only complaint is that the app seems to crash on startup whenever we play offline and crashes when our internet cuts out. This is really annoying for plane rides where we just wanna solve puzzles.
Wish the app made directions or the basic geometric concepts clearer. Lots of interesting potential here.
The puzzles are fun and remind us of elementary school! Sadly the higher levels are locked out unless you unlock all the stars and even though you complete all the visible stars there are also seemingly hidden stars. So it is basically impossible to proceed. Maybe there is some kind of in app pay to proceed.
We used to love this game. Now it just crashes right when we open the app.
Ive tried over and over to expand the circle tool to a point with the expectation thatll itll lock onto the point, but no matter what Ive tried it just doesnt work. This has made it unable to earn stars on any of the levels that require two circles to overlap at a point. Besides that it seems like a good game. Im giving 1 star because Im unable to progress anymore with the current problem.

Love this game! Addicted. Would be really nice, on the later levels especially, to make a few levels available at once. We are just completely stuck on some and end up having to google the answers could be nice to have a few things going at the same time.
App keeps crashing at the title screen. We havent been able to get into the app, but we really love it.
The tutorial is actually trash and discouraging to new players.
We dont know the math associated with these problems but we enjoy trying to solve them nonetheless.
Amazing how smart this program is. No matter what sort of Rube Goldberg arrangement of geometry we use, it correctly determines whether we have the exact solution. IPad user interface isnt as good as Android – it doesnt want to snap to the start point. But that is minor – not worth a star.
The game is great once you get a hand of the tools. The game is easier once you know how to combine tools to hit the goal. The game was easier to perform on our tablet and laptop vs on our phone. Great way to practice and the hint tool is helpful.

Bruv Im so mad we spent a whole dollar on night mode on our iPhone and cannot get it transferred onto our iPad. Please help!! We logged into our Apple ID on our iPad and we cant get it! We need to be a pro gamer please help.
Can be frustrating at times, but overall a very enjoyable geometry puzzle app that is also educational.

It is nearly perfect. We would just suggest to have some hints on the most complicated topics if they require the use of some theorem.
…but (SPOILER) game 1.7 allows you to make an inscribed square with 7 elementary moves but not with the given vertex. As such it is impossible to unlock the other levels for free.
If youre like us, into puzzles and geometry, this game will become your all time favorite. It is almost endless, and they keep adding levels.

Ive been looking for good math games for a while now, and this is by far the best Ive run across.
At last Ive tried the new version of Euclidea. The synchronization is made thoroughly and properly. You can progress through levels on different mobile devices, whatever OS, and while being offline as well (if the connection is lost). As soon as youre connected, all your progress and constructions will be correctly synchronized. Everything Ive been long dreaming of is at last brought into reality to the utmost. Great.

Challenging puzzles with many constructions we never learned in school. Excellent design work without the time-wasting animations you see in some other apps.
It's a great puzzle game and it's helped us learn a lot about geometry. It would be really awesome if the game allowed us to share solutions with friends. Answers are always available on YouTube but that's not the point. It would be a lot of fun to use the game socially.
