This is fairly short, but worth it. One particular appeal is the ability to define yourself in the story any way you wish – cisgender, transgender, non-binary, straight, gay, you name it, and thats so refreshing. Between fun character building, a great mystery, and the potential for multiple relationships, this will cover pretty much anyone. Pick it up today!
Wow! A great mytery that combines a detective story with an excellent fantasy story line. The best of the fine Hosted stories we’ve played.
Reminds us of the choose your own adventure and Lone Wolf game books of our youth. Good stuff. As with all these games, Id love a chance to have save points or the ability in some way to go back after a bad choice.
This is one of the better stories we have ever read, it had incredible penmanship, minimal errors, and a plot line unlike any other. The ability to almost completely customized your person is incredible, and most likely one of a kind. If you have read stories like Magium, lilys day off, and many others, we recommend this with the highest scores.

We’ve read so many stories from Hosted Games and this one is definitely one of our favorites! We love the mystery, the characters, and the uniqueness of the story itself. Also, the effects of each choice has on the game play makes it feel all the more real. It so worth the read!

We wrote a super long review for this, but a stupid glitch deleted it ;( So instead, we’ll write a condensed summary. A brilliant and engrossing mystery novel with interesting characters and one of our favorite romances in any of these "choice of" and "hosted" games. Well worth the price and the only issue is the seeming lack of a sequel, an issue that we desperately hope that the author fixes.
Hosted games usually are great or not so great, and this was a great game! Played it twice.
This game was awesome! The characters felt so real, and the plot was engaging as well. We’re definitely going to follow this author for what else she/he writes. (maybe even a sequel? ;) )
Great depth, character development and replay value. We’re looking forward to continuing the story we created inside an enchanting world. It is pricy for an app but if made into a series, we would pay an expensive one time fee for all continuations of this story and our character.
We really enjoyed this game. More than some of the other Hosted Games. We liked the story and the characters. Both were well written. We felt it was a bit short but some stories are like that.
So this was really amazing, everything that we could have hoped for. Well,aside from the fact that despite taking hours to complete, we still wished the story had been longer. Honestly it is so good. The mystery was awesome, and we liked that things weren’t easy at times and there were consequences to your actions. We’ve only played this through once, but based on that alone I’d recommend this to anyone who likes these types of games. It was great and definitely worth the money spent on it. The romance option for ‘the gardener’ was awesome, we’ve wanted a character like him for our character to be able to have as a romantic option in other stories by Choice of Games and Hosted Games for a long time now, he was great! The writing was superb, we had no trouble getting into the story. We hope we see a sequel to this and more from whoever wrote this, we’ll readily be buying the next game if they put something out on this same platform! All and all, we can’t see how you’d be disappointed by this. We’re not sure how much the story varies if you make different choices, but we think we have an idea. Even if on the second read through the story seems more linear no matter what choices are made, this is still 100% worth it, we were not disappointed at all.
This was the best interactive game we’ve played from the App Store! We loved it and cant wit for the next ADVENTURE… We SURE HOPE ITS SOON!!!
This is absolutely amazing. There is nearly infinite replay value and it develops strong characters that you actually care about. The story is very intriguing with many twists along the way. Every choice you make really makes a difference. It is worth more than the $3 it costs. This is a must have for any fan of interactive text based games like this. We would strongly recommend this if you are considering buying it.

We love good, interesting mystery stories and this story definitely delivers. It has a lot of options but not too much that doesn’t have a nice flow to the story. The characters was interesting, which we like, along with the choice of romance for the main character. We really like how the author used the inn has the villain. It show real creativity to use a building like that. If the author ever decided to write a sequel, we will definitely buy it.
We have played many of this type of game and this is the best one we have ever played. We loved the writing and the richness of the characters. Our only complaint is we wish it was longer…. Sequal please! (With dandy ) please please please have more stories written by this author and more mystery type stories!

This is truly an amazing choice game, way better than most of the Choice of Games and one of the best Hosted Games available. The characters are all amazing with their own personalities to bring to the story. The mystery involved and the gathering of clues was also a lot of fun and worked well with the overall story! Not only that but the romance is some of the best we’ve experienced in a choice game. We had our doubts when we realized you were meeting and romancing the person in a single day, but we were pleasantly surprised! They were actually super cute and memorable romances that we felt really fit in with the overall feel of the story. Overall, this is a great game that we would definitely recommend buying!

We’ve actually never written one of these before, but we felt like we had to after playing this. This is easily one of the best Hosted Games that the Choice of Games site has to offer. The plot is geniunely interesting, the characters are compelling and there’s multiple endings depending on your actions and relationships. Look forward to playing another game from this author.

Kind of like a short D &D adventure. Wish it was longer but we really enjoyed it.
It was an interesting game of fantasy which allowed the user to choose the outcome. We would have liked it better had we been able to play it again and choose different outcomes.
