Overall its pretty good dont ever get bonuses or promotions really you would think after we’ve wagered over $44,000 that we would be a valued customer but no. Faceoff wont let us play games if we bet says cant locate me.
If you like going up head to head with people live this could be fun. Not really our cup of tea, but the games are fun and seamless if you dont mind live competition. Stresses us out a little too much but nothing against the apps design or layout. We tried all the games for free and they were fun, we just know Id likely lose against people playing this stuff all the time. Side note, we do enjoy the reviews of people saying they lose more than they win. Hello people, thats nearly any game that involves betting. If you want professional odds, go to an actual casino and play blackjack, but even there if you win too much youll get noticed. Its hilarious that people come into these apps thinking they will walk away with more than they put in. It happens of course, but rarely. The whole point is to make money for these companies or they wouldnt even exist let alone develop more apps. Stop fantasizing.
Every time we try and play this, it says location verified and when we click continue nothing happens. We cant ever play!
We sincerely hope that Apple takes this review into consideration and displays it. Their practices are rather deceptive, as there is a noticeable lack of consistency coupled with several glitches that peculiarly seem to benefit them exclusively. It is imperative that these glitches are promptly addressed or that affected individuals receive appropriate refunds. Regrettably, our attempts to seek assistance from support only resulted in receiving evasive responses.
This app is such a scam it shouldnt even be legal. Its impossible to consistently win because the higher you score in a game, your opponents scores keep increasing (and who knows if your opponent is even real). They say they match you with people of a similar skill level to make it fair but all that means is if youre good youll win most games at first then your opponents scores keep increasing and youll end up winning about 50% of the time while these scam artists take 10-15% of the pot for every game. The whole thing is designed so nobody can consistently win no matter how good you are and they can keep stealing money for every game played. If they just randomly matched you with whoever was playing at the time it would probably be worth using and the better you are the more money youd make, but theyre too greedy and want to keep everyone playing longer so they make more money. Dont give these scam artists your money, if anything they should be getting served with a class action lawsuit.
The paid games are impossible to win. We literally got a Solitaire game with all red cards. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! Most other games you barely can make two moves before you have to quit an impossible game Even if you manage to finish a game, you still lose because your opponent will have double your score and you have to wait an hour for them to finish playing.
Please read this before you give these thieves ANYTHING. You only play their bots theyve made, you will NEVER make any money, they are STEALING your money, we have reported this to our states gambling board, they will get shut down. This game is a COMPLETE joke, the algorithm Is so fake its not even funny. PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM A DOLLAR.
We’ve been playing faceoff for a longtime. Whether thats paid or free head to head. Its impossible to convince us that somebody just beat us with a score of 8000+ on puzzle pyramid when we completed the whole set in less than a minute at a score of 5000+. You cant even see their replay or how they got that score. This mainly happens when you put up a high score and have to be stuck in limbo for 20 minutes waiting on an opponent. Majority of the players are real but the top players with impossible to beat scores are fake unless they are AI robots and modified the code on this game to their advantage. We will be filing an official complaint with the gaming commission.
Hopefully they get sued and shut down so they stop scamming people.
We called the attorney general. We cannot believe FanDuel was running the scam on people. These games are all rigged. Not skill-based at all you can score a perfect game and they will match you with someone else who scores one point more than you so youll always lose in the long run.
Is there a reason why FanDuel removed the ability to see both our and our opponents summary statistics (average, high score) after a game has been completed? That doesnt seem very transparent to us.

The longer you play the more you lose, regardless of skill. This should 100% be illegal, will be reporting to our states gambling division.
We find it very difficult to believe we are playing against a real opponent considering that you are not playing at the same time. You can win 7 times in a row putting up high numbers (winnable scores) then all of a sudden somebody scores 40 percent higher than you. You cant even see the replays of there games to see the moves they made to get such monstrous scores. So how do you know its legit. It is impossible to be profitable and your better off just playing the free head to head version. Expect massive win streaks and even more massive losing streaks.
Cant even get into the app. Everytime we try we get the notification saying we are unable to process your request.

Games are fun but it is very obviously rigged. Dont waste your money trying to win anything here. Youll win a few and then after a game it will tell you it is waiting to fill or opponent still playing then you get absolutely dog walked. Very suspicious. Other than that it is a fun way to get your competitive juices flowing in your down time.
Seems like we might be playing against bots quite a bit.
Games feel rigged when playing for cash. Can win when theyre free but as soon as its a cash game seems like you automatically lose. We had an opponent put up an impossible score in the grand slam game when we first downloaded the app.
We love playing the scrabble game on the app. We often play if for hours on end. We play the cash games and have periodically deposited money. We have a HUGE PROBLEM with the game freezing on and off and taking our money. Every time we contact customer service about this we are treated like we are stealing money from them! Clearly they can see a zero score means something went wrong with the game. It is up to us to prove that the game froze and we lost our money! Its ridiculous to be treated that way!!!

They say its skill based and assure you that its fair – then why do we lose to people over and over by scores way higher than any score we ever got. We cant even verify that its correct because you cannot see anything your opponent does. Most people will never win with this app it is fun to play the games though. Additionally the rake is crazy high. What stops them from reserving a score close to yours and then letting one win one Tim then the next win the second time. If you win half the games the rake just keeps dwindling both parties money until once again you are adding funds. Also with the skill match Im guessing Im never lowered in skill because we have had some tough boggle boards and gotten lower scores but opponents scores seem so high. One final thing the app says its rated 4.8 out of five but when you scroll through the reviews there are way more one star reviews then five star reviews whats up with that.
App is cool for 3 games then they take everything you put in and you never win again. 10/10 HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND.
Definitely not a good app. Isnt all that fun, and theres somewhat shady things that go on in this app in our opinion. Definitely would stay away.
So funny. As soon as you get low on money, you start losing by 1 or 2 points. They always find a way to get your money back. Youll win a few and get up, and then all the sudden you are losing by one or 2. Was down to our last game in a time based game. We go to end the game, the game freezes for 10 seconds and we lose by 1. They have no shame with this. An admin will respond and say theyre skill bases match ups. Its clear thats false. This is flat out FRAUD.
Its fun and all but ultimately rigged for every contestant to eventually lose. Seems like theres an algorithm that pairs you to someone with a score similar to yours which is scary because they can just pair anyone with a higher score just to get you to lose and deposit all over.
Fanduel Faceoff is a rip off just like the rest of these apps out there. Just like everyone else has stated, you can win 10 low dollar matches in a row, then as soon as you bet a higher amount you will lose it all. Not to mention you have to win 3-4 matches and if you lose a single match all of that profit is wiped out. Fan duel takes an insane percentage off the total from you. We would love to meet someone in real life that’s actually made thousands off this. Not a paid actor.
We should be able to cash out directly to our debit card but whatever. It wont let us add our bank account to withdraw money. It shouldnt be a issue at all, every business can take money so easy but never give it back as easy.
This app is addictive and definitely rigged for you to lose. How do we know for sure they arent just pairing you with someone in your skill level that has a better score? You cant win more than 55% of the time.
All these are the REAL words to describe the entire fan duel as a hole. We can list pry close to 100 incidents that we’ve experienced 1st hand that are truly 1 in a 1,000,000,000 odds. Well we dont believe in magic or that many coincidences. We promise u 1 thing if u play any fan duel game-u will lose. Trust us. We have nothing to gain by bad-mouthing fd but this is honest to God TRUTH.
Even at the Casino they let you win big. Here you just always happen to be at about your deposit level. Never win anything big at all. Ever. And than you lose it all. And they think imma deposit more? What a joke. Obvious and total scam. Should be investigated by the gaming commission.
You cant bet on anything in Michigan. They give us bonuses money but you cant spend it.
You do not play another player. You play a cpu, you will win 2 out of like 10. Then when you win they compare your score to another player but they will find they highest score so they can take your money. Our biggest issue is with the game plays as it begins to glitch and cause they game to give you a lower score rather the free version. Game wont performance doesnt match play. (Perfectly time throws coming out overthrown or hits being way harder than the game determined you did. We noticed when we began to win. They make it where it is impossible to win. If you out play the computer they just line you up with the highest scored player no matter how long it takes to set you up with a match like its delayed until a score can beat you. We had some where Im waiting 30 mins for a matched player. Then just to see you barley lost . Again. Insanity.
TOTAL SCAM! Guys in HR challenge beat you with impossible scores even if you go the whole round hitting home runs the entire round and using the power ups to your maximum advantage. What a joke! Try to respond to this review! We dare you bc you know you have nothing. Then if you have any bets that are cashing through the Sportsbook like our Phillies future, you start to lose every time.
