What Makes Fantastic Checkers Go Stand Out
Fantastic Checkers Go is a great version of this traditional board game. It has beautiful graphics and a nicely tuned AI with multiple levels of play for fun at any level. There is also a two player mode so you can play against a friend. If you are a fan of checkers (draughts) you will love this game.
The game starts on an 8×8 board with 12 pieces on each side. These pieces may only initially move and capture diagonally forwards. Only when a piece is "crowned" or "kinged" may it move both backwards or forwards. The opponent's pieces are captured by jumping over them. A player wins by capturing all of the opposing player's pieces, or by leaving the opposing player with no legal moves.

Every time we lose it automatically closes the game even when press play again.
This game is an amazing game! Except! It's so buggy, our and our girl play it over wifi via iPhone, and in the middle of most games it messed up and says it's the others turn on both screens, so to get out of it, we would go back to lobby and come back, and it redo's the game, but when It does, it moves ALL the pieces in the wrong places! Totally screws up the gameflow… So lame! So let's try to get these bugs fixed! But all in all it's a good game and even better with feint.
This game always Turns of on us And some times it adomaticly moves The checkers.
Very good checkers game, however, when trying to play multiplayer with "bump" half way through the game it disconnects and ends the game. Then tried to play via OpenFeint and it went out of sync toward the end of the game and each ipad thought it was the other players turn. If multiplayer gets fixed we'll revise our rating to 5 star because this could really be a great game.
Half way through the first (multiplayer) game there was a bug. The game added a piece to the board instead of moving a piece. There was no way to go back to an earlier state of the game.
It's a good game, why? Because it's free. It's just a regular checkers game that has simple controls and you can play against the computer or against a friend. Three difficulties: Beginner, Medium, and Expert. Again whats wrong with a free game thats pretty cool? NOTHING! Just get it to play some checkers.
Hey fix the glitch were a checker jumps us then our checker stays but we cnt use it what the hell!! Overall though it's a very fun game.
Still has a lot of bugs. The main one is that some of your own pieces are still showing on the board. When you try to move them, they wont move. It's slow in movement as well.
Must be meant for the iPad for half the time it doesn't recognize your moved on the iPhone.
Can't jump the computer, can't move some chips.. Freezes.. Needs a huge fix.
This game is a joke it will not let you jump the computer. WASTE OF TIME.
When we try to move our guy, it just won't let us.
When you are plugged into the expert selection then you are in for a hell of a game. We have yet to beat it. But Ill get it one day. Great moves both offensively and defensively. If youre beating this on a regular basis then you should get into some tournaments and start betting.
We really love this game because it's real to life like playing with somebody. It even cheats! Sometimes when we are whooping this game's butt real good it starts cheating, just the way a sore loser would and we really love that! So we highly recommend this game as a must have.
Needs update doesn't fill the screen.

Was working fine for several wks and then the game froze. We had to remove it and then reinstall.

Good app, but would be better if it had difficulty levels.
Great app, However sometimes the pieces get stuck or won't move at all.. Wish they would fix that minor technical problem..also this game cheats. Imaginary pieces pop out of blank spots. Or the pieces jump by themselves when you are in process of beating the computer.
This is a good game but also a boring game. The app is good no glitches.

How in the world does a company manage to make Checkers difficult? 1. Launch the app. 2. Select either one player or two player. 3. Select who goes first. 4. Click Continue. 5. NOTHING 6. Click Continue again. 7. NOTHING 8. Click Continue until you are blue in the face, and still NOTHING.
This was so enjoyable and you get to play your friends. :).
The game was great. Some people said it was a unfair game but we thought it played awesome. We beat the computer.

It is a great checker game, very challenging.
Perfect but takes a second to load every move and we ceep thinking that it didn't respond and we click a different piece and it goes toward it. A Number one recommendation for checkers though (Sorry for our spelling we're in a hurry) Nice sunglasses. (; And one thing the black hole peice. We were playing and his peice became giant, then two pieces came out of it. Then we try 2 jump it and we get sucked in…… Huh.

When playing the computer, this game cheats. The problem is that since this game has no review previous play option, there is nothing the player can do about it. Would be great game if it was fair.
