Community Insight:
We love this game, we dont recommend it.
Great story Great waifus But when trying to farm for materials, just trying to replay the game only changing the support makes the game crash ever since the 2020 Christmas event. We have a 2013 model ipad air and am looking forward to the problem being solved.
The game is very cool, but we wished it had an Arabic language because many of us want to delve into the game in the Middle East.
Out of all tue gatcha games we have played, this one makes us feel the best. Why? Obviously because: 1- we like the anime, unfortunatelly if you dont like the anime then you will soon be living the game because it makes you work too much for an anime you consider second or third. 2- the care given to every character is priceless, we mean 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 stars and even the one that has no stars. They all have something to unravel. 3- all characters have 3 skins, when you ascend one time, you see another skin, the third time, another, the fourth, a new card picture. We were so excited to see our favorite go and look cooler and cooler and know more about him. (Even more than the anime) this happens with all rarities compared to other games that only has content for high stars. 4- customizable, even if you reach max level, if you dont like the skin you can change it back to the previous ones. There is no other game like this in the gatcha mobile games, at leas we have never seen it ourselves. 5- as hard as it gets, you still have the chance to make your dreams come true, if your favorite is medusa, a three star, when you max level her, you can keep going and increase her level cap, even higher to that of a five star level cap.
Love this game, been playing for years now and have a lot if the 5 star servants. The story and characters are fun and lovable. Our only wish for the English version is to have the menu text subtitled. Would love to know what Da Vinci is saying sometimes. Its not game breaking though. We will continue playing for as long as the game runs.
We love this game but Ive seen some comments saying theres no restoring your progress if you uninstall the game. But there is. When entering the game, go to our Room, and tap Issue Transfer Number (second to last option) Then set a password and write down the transfer number somewhere. Keep in mind that it can only be used once so youll have to do it again if you want to transfer a second time.
Came because we love the anime franchise, stayed for the characters and storyline. Animation is top par, story is super engaging after a couple singularities, events are super fun, voice actors engaging. What more can one ask for? (Whispers better gacha rates).
We really like playing the game and watch a anime of it but we wish that when you have a account to save it could be with Facebook or twitter it would be easy to save accounts.
It is literally impossible to get a 5 star servant in this game, and if you do get a 5 star, its gonna be a craft essence. You need to pay to get a 5 star servant. Watch Myst and see how hard it is to get a 5 star servant.
Gacha Game with tier system. Servants are ranked 1-5 stars and divided across 13 classes. 1-3 stars are readily acquired and 4 star Event or Welfare Servants are fairly common. Rarity indicates the inherent base power of the servant. Higher rarity tends to lend to a more no-brainer approach, but lower rarity servants can compete and exceed high rarity servants if utilized effectively within a team. Every. Servant. Is. Usable. Given appropriate team composition, any servant can be justified. Regardless of meta. The Gacha should be approached with care. The chances of 4-5 star servants (especially 5 star) is abysmal and the rate up only means that on the terribly low chance you roll a high rarity servant, it has a slightly higher probability of being the rate up servant. Do not approach rate ups with the expectation of rolling a high rarity servant. Some will get exceptionally lucky on random rolls, while others will literally blow hundreds of quartz (or dollars!) and walk away with nothing. F2P is the responsible way to go, but if youre like us who enjoys dropping money on a gamble, go for it. Story is excellent, makes some references you may have to look-up, but is definitely accessible for newcomers to the Fate series.
Its a good gacha game. Not gonna lie, you either got the money for this gacha or you playing f2p. Which means free to play, for those that dont know. The main story is amazing and the servants are hilarious and good at the same time. Spend your money wisely when playing this gacha, luck is truly an amazing thing in this game! Once you get a gold or rainbow circle in the gacha game you literally have a mini heart attack and now youre hook to it lol. This is a farming game, it get kinda boring sometimes and dry when theyre no events. Grind up your 4-1 star servants and enjoy the ride if youre a starter. Other than that the fgo gets a 4/5 for us. Know your limits when playing, dont beat up wallet-kun cause you didnt get that ssr.
The game is fine and all but someone deleted our game and therefore all of our progress. There should be a way to link our acc to facebook or google to save acc data.
It is a good game, but little bit disappointed that fgo did not update events at time.
Sorry but cant give it a top grade not willing to drop hundreds of dollars just to have our favorite character but we guess Im the odd ball for not spending 1000 bucks on a game.
We wanted Gilgamesh during an event where you had to pay with SQ and on a certain day, you could get Gilgamesh with a drop rate increase. We spent about $100 buying SQ and kept getting servants that had a drop rate of 0.069%. What a waste.
While there are major concerns with drop rates and the gacha, Ive noticed that actual game content is starting to take a nose dive. At first, we thought that the decisions to make servant bosses in the campaign juiced up on extra layers of health bars and numerous unremovable buffs/debuffs to stall out fights were bad enough, cuz you know that having specific craft essences to build up your own servants being locked behind the gacha is always fun, but the fact that theyre now going to have events/seasons being locked behind You must clear X Lostbelt before being able to play this is not a good decision in the least bit.
Dear DW The screen safe zone is not updated on iPhone XR, please, fix this. Sincerely, Just another filthy useless weeb.
Why is issuing a transfer number the only way to secure your account? Cant you see what other mobile game developers are doing for their playerbase to ensure their accounts are secure? Linking profiles to their Apple ID, email address, social media accounts, etc. Why is FGO so reluctant to provide better services for its players.
Feel like the banners are rigged against u, spend over $300 on a banner and didnt even get the servant on the banner.
Really hard to progress without insane amount of gacha pulls. Even if you are a fgo fan, dont really recommend this.
With so many gacha games on the market, we really cannot fathom someone choosing to play Fate/Grand Order. First of all, the rates are garbage. Most gachas have rather low rates for rare units, but FGO takes this to such an extreme level that its downright ludicrous. We recently spent nearly 300 saint quartz, which equates to 100 summons, that we had saved over the course of 6 months on a single banner. We got zero 5 star characters, zero 4 star characters, and a metric ton of utterly worthless craft essences. There is no pity system in FGO, meaning no matter how many times you summon, you are never guaranteed to get what youre going for. Ive never seen such a gacha game with such an astonishing hatred of its players. You will never get a character you want to get unless you spend literally hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to do so. Period. Beyond the abysmal rates, the game is also horribly outdated. Remember when iPhone games were first becoming a thing in 2010 or so? Thats what this game feels like. FGO feels cheap. Animations and effects are mediocre, the UI is dreadful, characters have seemingly random art styles, and you still cannot link an account for backup if you lose, break, or buy a phone. Theres countless gachas out there with better art styles, more interesting gameplay, and more generous rewards. Do not waste your time with FGO.
You need to transfer your account to a new device before you throw away the old one. For returning player that switched phones but do not remember those details? Who cares. There are so many useful things that can authenticate an account uniquely, the email, phone number, google or apple ID. But then what? None of them are used. Anyway, after wasting several minutes through the mandatory but useless new player guide, we decided to delete it. Not a good investment of money.
We spent 300 quartz and we didnt get a single 5 star.
We played this game avidly and loved it until the event locking made us not want to do anything with it. The storys great and all, but its lengthy and pretty grindy and sometimes we just want to have some fun and play at our own pace. This is supposed to be a /game/ after all. But because we havent finished the story, Im not even allowed to play in any of the events that have been introduced. Every other gacha Ive ever played still lets you participate and have fun in the events they roll out, but not this one. Really disheartening, honestly. Not even worth the monet we spent on quartz anymore.
Ive enjoyed this game, but the recent update must have a huge bug. Our game is stuck upon loading and will not allow us to navigate anything. We cant start a battle or navigate the menus. Its very frustrating.
A great game where its not p2w, even if youre a free to plsy player you can get through. Story is amazing later on, but slow at the beginning. Important note: DONT hyperfixate on getting a specific character in gatcha and save yourself some pain.
Up front FGO is a great game with a fantastic story, great graphics and an amazing cast of characters from one of the greatest anime franchises of all time. But. The game punishes you monetarily for trying to roll for them with laughably tiny chances to pull the rarest characters which are probably also the ones you want most. Other gachas have adapted to this adding mechanics so you dont feel like youve wasted your money but FGO doesnt seem to feel the need. Its again a great game, but it is also very much a gamble so you should never spend more on it than youre willing to lose.
We put a lot of money into this game (500$) and then our phone broke so we lost our account. We tried emailing to retrieve our account with all the receipts we had in our email but we never heard anything back.
Great Waifus Great Hentai 10/10.
It the challenging fights and sheer amount of time you spend of the storyline makes it feel so much more immersive. The amount of history Ive learned playing this game, we would learn something then hear about it in History weeks later. (Ex: Wu Zetian, Mata Hari, Ivan the Terrible, etc).
The story in this game is amazing. The power creep is nonexistent and the shelf life of servants (units) in this game are basically forever. Even the free servants given out via the friend banner (free pulls) are very useful. Honestly give it a try and read the story because its honestly whats kept us going this far.
This is the best Anime Expo Lite Panels ever.
Please make it to where we can do multiple runs at a time like in Arknights.
Game has a bunch of archaic systems and really terrible rates. Firstly let's get this out of the way, it is a basic turnbased rpg, nothing fancy, not good or bad, perfectly serviceable. We treat this game more like a novel while turning our brain off for the majority of content. The game doesnt expect you to collect everything nor does it make every high rarity unit good. The game is VERY stingy with currency too, we will not defend this. Fortunately it is f2p friendly enough as 98% of the game is objectively proven to be able to be cleared by low rarity and free units as long as you build smart. You can borrow a friend's support unit so you dont need to fret too much if you need to borrow an overpowered unit. The game shines in the story and characters which is how they make you roll for mediocre units against your better judgment. The game actually does expect you to play so there is no auto battle and you actually have to clear the story enough to be able to participate in these monotonously long events. Thankfully you can borrow friend units and they give you handicap abilities to use if you cant clear it with confidence. We give it 4 stars because the game is purely a mobile game; a game that wants you to play for brief intervals at most due to a stamina system so you cant no life it. Reason 2 is because the game is easy and you dont need every new shiny (mediocre) unit. If you have self control and do not expect to get everything with a good story attached then go for it.
Cant complete the Final Grail Front because of constant crashes that prevent us from login. When we try to login again to the game and resume the final grail front, it crashes.
We will not spend money outside GSSR anymore unless there is an animated remake of the fate route done by ufotable.
The drop rates in this game both paid and free are terrible.
We did a review of this game a few dozen hours in. We thought we knew how it worked. We didnt. Ill spare you the details; it has one of the most brutally hard difficulty curves in any video game Ive played. It is not an easy mobile game- it goes from letting you play around to forcing strategy out of you like a juice presser in a few chapters, often without an easy remedy available no matter how much money you throw at the problem. The pull rates are really, really bad, the guarantee is ridiculously high, the game looks and (until you get to late game) feels old, and its super convoluted story wise and hard to get into. Five stars. Thats it. Avalon Le Fe and its prior chapters are five stars. And the fact that you can genuinely use anyone you want is a little cherry on top. The game is not generous in the typical sense- five stars are a real rarity- but it is a wonderful game with a story thats genuinely, seriously compelling once you hit the second arc. Not like, Blue Archive compelling, not Genshin Impact compelling, we mean honest to god masterfully written (we read big old books so Ive got bona fides on this subject, trust), to the point where some chapters had us loving every single character, playable or not. We wouldnt blame a person for bouncing off this game. But for those who end up enjoying it, no other mobile game, or really game in general, will scratch that itch like this does. So, give being a master a shot. Ive yet to meet a person who knew that theyd like Fate when they first tried it- but everyone who loves it never leaves it.
The app generally is stable and enjoyable but the current update for the Grail Front causes the app to crash all the time during the final battle. Maybe its because we use an 11 pro max.
Please we need another Altria caster pickup banner.
The only gacha game worth reading.
We never usually leave reviews but this game has quickly become our favorite out of any game we have ever played on IOS. The story is awesome, the gameplay is enjoyable/ has depth, and the characters are fantastic as well. You can they put a lot of love and care into this game compared to some of its competition. We don't have any real complaints either, and the developers are constantly updating it / adding more content. We'd highly recommend giving it a download if the game looks at all interesting to you.
We hope you guys can get it back some how.
Very fun game, we would crack astolfo even tho hes a femboy.
Read the title, and read it again. Need we say more.
We have been playing this game for years. We absolutely love the characters, story, and animations. We absolutely recommend.
We love the Fate franchise, and we love this game too. We just wish the rates were better because lots of event content want you to have the new four or five stars, although some four stars are very good. Please make pity carry over between banners, for the love of god.
Honestly we enjoy playing this games.Usually we dont like turn based fighting but once it has a good story or character thats we love we will play it.But there is a problem that makes it difficult for us to continue honestly ,we also play slime isekai memories which also turn based. Now whats the difference between these two.Plain and simple the graphics .Please creators we love this games just please , is there anyway you can update graphics.
- Disclaimer, we have only gotten up to the end of Singularity 3: Okeanos. Ill start with the positives: – The artwork is amazing. Not only are the servant sprites well done, but they are animated really well. The fact that the animations change depending on when the attack occurs is an amazing touch. – The music is great. – The ability to use a friends Servant is great for trying out Servants you havent got. This is a double edged sword, however. – Writing is for the most part solid (we hear it gets better later on, as Ive said, we only played to the end of Okeanos). That said, there are some cases where it feels like the story grinds to a halt to shill a particular character. – There is a lot of information on each of the Servants. Now, onto the negatives. – Servants cannot level up by simply battling. You have to expend resources to level them up. This may or may not be a negative for you, but we personally would have preferred if your Servants got stronger through battles. – Using other players servants is a great idea in theory, but with little in terms of balancing, it is way too easy to have the Guest Star overshadow everyone else. – Combat is mostly luck based. While we assume it was to have combat focus more on strategy than raw numbers, it ultimately accomplishes the opposite. – The gacha is infamously unforgiving, and we can see why. Trust us, you wouldnt assume that a 3 Star Servant would be a lucky draw from the Saint Quartz summon, but dear Chaldea, it is. – Poor diversity regarding the servants. Most Servants come from either Europe or Asia. Yes, those are the continents with the most famous mythologies, but there are so many interesting figures from mythology and history, particularly those of North America and Africa, who could definitely use some time in the spotlight. Overall, if you are into mythology or history, or if you are a fan of Fate in general, then we suggest giving this a shot. But we do think some things could be a lot better.
Why is the Transfer login code one time. Its the only way to access your account if you delete the game. We have no Idea how anyone could get away with this. Of all the Gacha games this has the worst system.
