We’ve just started playing and Im awaiting Anisas Route and we just wanna say the characters are very well written and just have so much life in them. Im excited to see what will come next!
You got to make more paths for sage in last legacy from that its a good game.
Hi so we absolutely LOVE this game! Not many dating simulation games have good storylines but this app is on point! We like how theres different storys you can choose from and your allowed to play/choose all the different routes with the different characters… Our favorite route so far is Sage in Last Legacy!! The art style is also to die for, you guys have done such an amazing job!… Our only feedback is on two things. #1 It would be awesome as the reader to have a schedule or at least a time frame of when the next chapter update is coming (Like, next chapter in August!) Even if theres no specific date it would be super helpful! Cause if not Im like checking everyday for the update and we almost want to delete the app because nothing has updated yet (totally understandable with the COVID situation, but we just wanted to give feedback). #2 we personally dont mind spending money on hourglasses and stars to go through the chapters and special moments, but after we’ve purchased and spent money we wish there was a way we could go back and rewatch certain moments we’ve gone through (And PAID for) without having to restart our whole route. Its just annoying that in order to redo the route to pass the time of waiting for the next chapter (and also refresh on where the story is at before the next chapter comes out) Id have to pay for everything again and all our progress would get erased… Anyways, great game! But the reader experience could be updated a bit .
This app is one of the best visual novel/story apps we’ve come across. Theres almost nothing to complain about honestly. The art is absolutely beautiful, the storylines are interesting and engaging, the characters are so lovable and relatable. Our favorite characters so far are Nicky, Sergio, and Howie. Cant wait for Miguels story to start. Thats one of the downsides to the app… Not all character storylines are available and the characters that are… Their story isnt complete and it takes a while between new chapters. Thats why we give the app 4* and not 5*. We cant wait to see how the storylines progress and the app progresses.
The writing lacked a lot, and the stories have so much potential and we love the outline of them allbut it was just so difficult to play Roadkill and Nickys route because of just… How much the words lacked in meaning or description, the dialogue and inconsistency. The artwork is amazing, we love the designs of Sage and Felix and Sergio, and we just adore the designs for the Roadkill characters. Coins were also an issue, but the writing is what matters the most. Last Legacy was pretty cool, but we couldnt get past the other stories because of the way it was written. We cant provide screenshots or anything, but we know these stories can have so much more. Is it a different writing team from the Arcana?
We’ve been a big fan of the arcana for a long time. We loved all the plots and characters, but after awhile we got kinda bored. Then we found this app. We instantly fell in love with Sage from Last Legacy. Im super sad that he only has 4 chapters, but not being able to do his route lead us to all the other stories! We hope Nix Hydra continues to update the stories, we cant wait!
This game is awesome! But our main question is when will the chapters 8+ come out for Nickys story in two against the world? Im so exited!
Good game, we like that it lets you choose your pronouns. It also has multiple storys to choose from. The only complaint we have would be to maybe set the timer at 3 hours instead of 4 for reset times. But its not that much of an issue, A bit annoying if you get really invested in a game and then run out of them. Its not too bad tho. In conclusion this is one of the best games we’ve come across so far.
So, heres the story. We downloaded The Arcana quite a while ago and fell in love with the beautiful story, music, and art. When we found Nix Hydra had released another game, we were psyched!! And to our great joy, it did not disappoint. The stories are SO immersive! We are a music freak, and the music that plays in the background of each story is wonderfully composed and enhances each story uniquely. The art takes your breath away. The characters are relatable in their own ways, and you cant help but feel like you are actually in the story with them. To sum it all up, we are obsessed!! We only have two suggestions to make playing experiences that much greater. First, we are a student, so we dont have much money to spend on stars. We will, dont get us wrong, but maybe the team could add some features (like in the stand-alone Arcana app) like daily log-in bonuses or the choice to watch a video ad? More options for free stars would be MUCH appreciated! Also, replaying entire routes gets a little tedious. We like the option The Arcana gives of replaying just a single chapter and buying the chapter/book with coins so we dont have to wait for hourglasses to replay it. Other than that though, this game is utterly amazing and definitely worth a try!! 10/10 would recommend!
We really love this! Being able to choose our own pronouns is extremely refreshing. We really look forward to seeing the rest of Felixs chapters released. :)
So Im scrolling through most of the ratings and everyones having a problem witb the stars, we getchu. Yeah the stars are a problem, but Ill gloss over them because just about everyones heard enough of them. Anywhoo, we’ve been searching for new interactive games, because we’ve recently finished The Arcana. One thing led to another we found Fictif. (sorry if the backstory bores you) Generally Im intrigued by fantasy or magic. Hence The Arcana. We took a look at Last Legacy, and Zamm- was we in love-? Yes. Yes we were. Can we talk about the character designs ere we jump into who . We swear the backgrounds are so.. There? Its difficult to explain, but the proportions are very intact and their outfits are in rn. Low key it would be a miracle if we could pull them off, they fit with the characters really well. Uhm.. The hourglasses, Im fine with, Yeah, 3 hours for one chapter is, I-guess, alot. But lets be honest here, the chapters are semi-long. We mean Felix’s chapter left on a cliffhanger, but whats a story without a little on-the-edge-of-your-seat, righttt? The writing is phenomenal, cant even lie, as a bookworm Id prefer to play through these chapters than most books. You just cant find writing thats deep enough or characters with problems that you relate to or words like these. Elaborating on the word part, as a young teen who doesn’t get out much, and whos almost only outlet is at school, the ability to be introduced to new vocabulary content is life-saving. (back to it :) ) Also, we enjoy the diverse genres, thats not a luxury to be taken often. As you know, its a romance game aswell, so, Lee, who do you like??? :0 Felix. Okay would 10/10 recommend him to anyone. We really like how his character is developing. Well, Im sleepy so thisll be the end of our tedtalk. In conclusion, we wanna give a big thumbs up to Nix Hydra and say that we can see myself sticking with this game for a while, to say the least.
We can tell this game has much potential in it and more to come, we love almost everything about it, the art style, plots, characters, music. We can tell this game has been worked very hard on and we appreciate everyone who worked on this app to make it what it is. But in The Arcana you had ways to get coins and keys by spinning the wheel or doing the town thing (sorry we forgot the name) and we think that was really helpful especially for the people who cant pay online or dont have enough money. And we would really appreciate it if there were more ways to get stars then by having to use money and pay for them, we did notice that when you finish an episode or prologue you get 3 stars but you could play every introduction and path and still not have enough stars to play one of the games and get every star choice. So if you could please add more ways to get stars without having to just pay that would make the game even better then it is and help out a lot of people, maybe you could make some days where you have infinite stars like how in The Arcana you can have infinity keys! We really love this game and we expect more in the furture that can make this game even better! Keep up the good work!
So we just downloaded this app today. The stories are intriguing and well written. We would have any complaints, but… We really wish you could customize a character. The graphics are so good that it would make a gorgeous character. You could also add star options, as a way to make more money! Its a win win! Think about it.
We’ve just downloaded it and let us just say it has been one of the best story games we’ve played, its really in-depth and it hooks us right away. However, the one problem we have it that is the stars(I think thats what theyre called), the star choices are fine but theyre a little pricy and you only get three per chapter. To make up for this why dont yall have a daily log in or something like that, like 5 stars per day for watching ads or such. Anyways thats it still one of the better ones :)
Among all the similar apps this one, of course, stands out. We love playing it and especially love The Arcana (the reason we downloaded Fictif). BUT it would be nice to have a wheel so players can win hourglasses and stars. And what annoys us the most is that there is no gallery option for the characters even though we open extra scene throughout the stories. Additionally, it would be amazing if we could replay specific chapters instead of starting the route completely from the beginning. We know it must be taking lots of time for updates, we cant wait for the new chapters.
Like a lot of the reviews we read we started playing this game because of The Arcana. We do enjoy the game but its confusing to use. We think that the game could use a ad button or a wheel just like The Arcana. Heart hunter or something similar would be great too. We understand its still a work in progress because the farthest chapter anyone is up to is 4 (Sage) with some not even being available yet. However we are willing to wait for the chapters we just think making a ad button for stars and a way go back to a specific chapter would be great! Despite our complaints its a great game! We just think its a little annoying with the layout and way to get stars. Great game! Im sure you will improve it!
Its a good game, but we wish there was a better way to get coins without money. Like in the Arcana app, they have adds and other inside games you can play for coins.
We really enjoy the Two against the world story with Nicky: the great writing, interesting plot and beautiful art style. We like that you can play without using money however the amount of money needed to get the full experience in a single story is far too much in our opinion. Also, we know this is a recently developed app, but for every story, a single characters arc should have all its chapters to start. Its disappointing to wait for so long in order for a single chapter to be released and no release date is given on the app. Lastly, we think there should be a way to view your history and replay routes without having to fully restart, its not fair to dedicate all that money into a single experience. We hope there are improvements in the future for Id really like to be able to support this app and eventually change our review.
Essentially … Theres no content. Most stories are lucky to have 4 (of ??) chapters. We have now waited 6 weeks and had no stories updated. Dont start a story that isnt complete. Oh wait, none of the offered stories are complete.
Loved the stories, but we cant get it to work on our Apple or our Android. Would rate higher once fixed.
So, we got this app because the work on The Arcana was amazing. Everything felt perfect with it and we were incredibly excited to see Nix Hydra was sharing more stories. Unfortunately, this app has been mediocre. The writing lacks pace and depth. It comes across as messy. Each scene is far too quick. It feels like the fan fiction we wrote in middle school. Why is MC already as good as head over heels for Howie in the second chapter? We think the best in writing is Dama Roja, the only story we could get attached to, but even that story needs to be fixed up! We wish the writers would down the pace of the writing and give a little more character and relationship development. It will go a long way to save these stories. We also get a sense that there is faarrr more fan service moments than there is plot. Also, maybe a fixed update schedule? Unless, of course, there is a reason why there isnt one. The creators have their own personal lives and things to attend to, and thats A-okay. We just dont feel like this app was ready to be put out there if the content is half missing and the updates are sporadic. We will give it this: the art is gorgeous and the app has a nice layout (though it could do with a menu for each route, showing the list of chapters and allowing you to replay). The plot of Dama Roja is very compelling. We enjoy the character design for the stories. Thank you for reading :)

We’ve been following the Arcana ever since it came out, so we were very excited to see that Nix Hydra had another app like it. So far, it is very promising! The stories are creative, the art is amazing, and the characters are interesting! Of course, it is a new app, so bugs are bound to appear, but it honestly doesnt bother us. Im excitedly anticipating chapter updates, we love this a lot!
We love the storys and everything is grate but one thing we wish there was a better way to get stars then just buying them so if you can please make some way to get stars with out having to buy them.
We love Fictif, but we accidentally used up a ton of Diamonds and chose bad paths. In order to prevent this from happening again we turned on choice conformation. Now what we thought it would do is pop up a confirm icon from ever choice but instead it only does it for the diamonds. We mean its better than nothing but maybe change it to normal choices or add an additional option. Also the updates are kind of slow, one of stories says March 2020 even though its already April.
This might be a late time to write a review but.. Am really happy yall made more updates on almost all the stories we were waiting FoReVer TwT. Really hope yall make more on updates Arcana to :D!! Dont have any more to say but the updates and the game is AWSOME !
We loved the Arcana and wanted more so Im playing Sages route in Last Legacy and the stories fun and the characters are unique. The only real problem is stars, for people who want to play for free its hard to get stars.
This game is really great. So far, the main issue we have is that there is no "gallery" for you to see all the scenes/pictures you earn for choosing star options. I’d love a gallery. The art is so beautiful for this game, I’d really like to see some merch in the store, not just for the Arcana but definitely for at least Last Legacy! Cant wait for more Sage chapters!!
We’re really grateful for arcana and this game as well. We’re a trans guy and we appreciate that we can put in our gender because often times a lot of really awesome looking otome/simulation style games don’t have that option so we can never play them because we get super dysphoric, which sounds kind of dumb but it’s hard to be flattered by these dudes when we’re constantly being called she/her and thinking but we’re a boy tho we’re a boy tho we’re a boy tho.
We love this app. Im playing every story but have a certain character route we really care about but we cant use any stars because we dont have enough or cant get anymore. Getting three stars when you play an episode is great but you cant use them afterwards. Adding a wheel or daily stars like The Arcana would be so helpful. Also we like the restart route option but we would prefer to restart a certain episode. So then if we do get enough stars we can go back to that episode and get that special option. We do love the new storylines!! Theyre amazing and we love the diversity in genre and culture. We cant wait for more episodes come out and we get very excited to play them! Keep up the good work!!
We got Fictif about a month ago and really like it! The stories are interesting and the characters are endearing. We expected nothing less from the developers that brought us The Arcana. That being said, we wish that they had a mini game or check-in bonus, like in The Arcana, that allows the player to get more stars (the in-game currency). As of right now the only way to get more is to buy them. Regardless, Id recommend this app to our friends, for sure. This app is still new and we cant wait to see the upgrades that time will bring.
Honestly, its a lot better than we thought itd be. Our expectations werent very high. We mean, we love The Arcana, but we didnt think anything could compare. We cant say its better but its its own thing. Im liking the stories so far every story, actually and we’ve managed to spend our own money. Apparently, you can earn in-game currency for reading. We like that thats an option, but Id personally like to have something separate. Id rather wait and build up our currency and pick what we really want (the paid options) than skip over them. Like the last game, The Arcana, you can choose your pronouns. We still think thats a good idea! We think it helps a lot of people and… Its just really refreshing. You can be yourself. And because of the diversity, it leads to more you can be with whoever you want, guy or girl. ** Originally, we suggested Nix Hydra focus on making chapters rereadable. They have! You can now reread things. Unfortunately, we cant seem to earn any currency for rereading right now. Someone else mentioned a gallery for the CG and we agree. Id like to look at the art, when possible. As is, Id rate this a solid 4 stars. After they fix some things (namely the pronoun mixup in La Dama Roja), itll be worth more especially if we can earn currency again. Proofreading: (Mild spoilers.) we saw that someone said something about male pronouns and La Dama Roja, and we have no idea what it was before, but even though its supposed to be fixed it isnt. At least, not fully. (Spoilers.) After going out with Sergio, someone shows up to deliver something and asks if the MC (in our case, a male MC) needs a ride and Sergio says that he was going to escort her there himself. (Cue our MC going with the other person because Sergio cant respect his pronouns.) With Chava, its immediately after you decide hes safe. He says that if either of the other love interests want to talk to her (again, our male MC) theyll have to go through him first. Also, we dont know if its supposed to be like this, but in the same game, the background is taking up a little more than half the screen. Theres the dialogue, of course, and at times the love interest, but it still feels empty with the black. We feel the background should be bigger and fill the space, like any other scene and story. If needed, we could provide a screenshot for the background [issue] and the pronouns.
We like it so far. Im currently reading Who Killed La Dama Roja and its really interesting. However, is there a way to replenish our stars? Theres premium choices we would love to choose, but is there a system that will allow us to earn stars for free? We really dont have a lot of money to spend and we dont want to constantly be purchasing more stars.
Like most people, we tried this game out because we love Arcana and we wanted to see what else Nix Hydra had to offer. Its a cute game, the writing isnt always excellent but its better than most story apps we’ve played. Tbh the only story/route we care enough about to use stars (the in-game currency) on at this point is Sages route in Last Legacy, so it should be easy enough to save up for that. But for people who actually want to try more options for free, maybe adding a wheel or ad watching option would be nice? You get stars for completing a chapter for the first time, but once youve got all those, theres no real way to continually save up stars. Also, while they made it so you can replay routes, you have to start all over, you cant just replay a specific chapter. It saves your purchases, but still… Starting all over just to replay one chapter is kinda annoying. Aside from that, its a fun game; try it out if you like interactive story apps and keep in mind that its still a work-in-progress so the features arent all perfected yet :)
We honestly really like this game. The storylines have more substance to them than the other apps. We just wish earning the stars would be easier. Three per chapter is a lot compared to the other apps, but when a choice is 20+ stars AND a premium choice is available pretty frequently, its hard to fully enjoy the game. However, overall, the game is really nice. Im currently reading La Dama Roja and cant wait for more chapters to come out. This is the first time we’ve actually gotten immersed into a story so we commend them for that. Definitely recommend checking the app out!
Theres a lot of apps similar to this one, but we think the main difference is how much effort is put into these stories. We’ve read the ones that are available and theres a lot of variability, not to mention the art style and dialogue are very refreshing. The only thing is that a lot of the stories havent been fully written and come out on a monthly basis. Im not sure if the fan base is big enough for them to create a twitter to announce updates etc, but itll definitely get there. Overall its lot better than what we’ve seen out of most other interactive story apps.
Okay so im only really playing for Two Against The World because we havent been very interested in the other stories and we love the idea but the story seems to be fairly new since there arent even many chapters with Nicky. We really do think adding an add or something to get free stars would be nice because we do wanna experience the options. We can wait to see the rest of Nickys story and the other characters stories.
This was our fist time playing a dating simulator and we chose the Two against the world story. We spent a solid 20 minutes looking up the cocktail recipes to make a realistic choice, but then Nicky undermines that and orders us a gin. We were actually excited to read the games description of the drink we ordered. The dialogue can be fun but other times it can be off, like when your character jokingly mistakes Miguel for the help. As someone whos been in that position before it doesnt leave you in a fun and flirty mood.
Fun game would better if you could have an avatar.
The stories are great but thats about all this app has going for it. We really wish they would have waited to release the app until they actually had content to release. We’ve had the app since the release and loved the prologues of all the stories. But then we had to wait. And wait. And wait. And wait some more as one chapter is released every month for one character of the story. We understand that stories take time and work but we think a month for one chapter for one character is quite long! If it actually does take that long, we really think they should have waited to release this until they had stockpiled enough stories to keep users interested. By the time a new chapter is released for a character we care about, we have completely forgotten the entire storyline. Disappointing after such a high quality experience like the Arcana!
IM BEGGING YOU STOPPP MAKING NEW BOOKS AND JUST FINISH THE OLD ONES. IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SAGE CHAPTER 15 FOR LIKE OVER A YEAR. We understand all stories take time and wont happen instantly but for the love of GOD finish what you start before making 20 more.

So, we’ve had this game for a long time. And we enjoy all the stories Fictif has to offer. Our favorite one though is Catch us In Miami, it has a great storyline and great illustrations. But what we are not pleased with in the game is one thing: the Hourglasss. We do not like how when you use them, you have to wait for about 3 hours just for them to refill. We find it annoying having to wait that long and not being able to do any other stories because we dont have the Hourglasses we need to read the chapters in the story. If we could make a request, we would like there to be a time reduction on the Hourglass refills. It would save time, and allow myself and other users of the game to be able to enjoy the stories without having to wait so long. Thank you for reading our review, if you have.
We love this game and love the stories, but ever since Dorian took over, we havent gotten any story updates. Its really disappointing. They said they would keep the app running with the stories but that doesnt seem to be the case. Please update and at least finish the stories on there. We still have a tone of stars that we had purchased right before the switch. Id like to used them. Im sure Im not the only one waiting here. Like what about Last Legacy at least. That was one of the main storylines.
Our top favorite books on here were Roadkill and Ghosted. Not saying we didn’t enjoy all their other books. We just really enjoyed how compelling and supernatural/paranormal they were. We hope the devs will continue to make more stories like Roadkill and Ghosted, as well as, create stories where the MC’s a supernatural being (i.e. Superhero, anti-hero, Alien, witch, vampire/werewolf, Angel/demon, etc). I’d also like to see more genres and tropes like "enemies-to-lovers", "fake relationships", "second chance romances", "love triangles", etc. Moreover, it’d be nice if we could customize MC. Nothing wrong with how it is now, but it’s just fun to customize the MC’s hair, clothes and physical attributes in our story. It’d also be nice if our choices were more impactful similar to what Romance Club does with their stories. Again – not saying that y’all don’t do any of that because y’all do. We just wish to see more of it. We hope you’ll continue to make more stories.
So we noticed that its been a while since there has been any new chapters and u dont know if the game play was moved to another app cuz we’ve been waiting for some chapters to come out for Felix or Sage, so Im just confused. But overall we really love this app we like reading on it, and its very enjoyable!
We love it but there need to be new storys ! Like would about a monster harem story with different ending like one for the individual characters and than all together ending we need some steamy storys But the main thing is we need more storys! Im tried of the same ones so we havent played it in a long time because we were getting tried of the same stuff and!!! You need to update some of your storys.
We got the game in about February of 2023 and didnt realize that it stopped updating until we finished some stories. We looked at the instagram and saw a post explaining things and it still didnt really give us any straight answers. We fell in love with fictif and gave it a lot of time to read the stories and get to know the characters. We downloaded dorian to see if there was any updates for fictif. From what we could tell there wasnt any. We guess we just have one question, will the stories be updated and finished? Or will they stay incomplete?
