Dec 2024 Review This is the best fighting game on mobile. We have majority: All SNKs Garou Real bout King of fighters Samurai Shodown Art of Fighting Even the Street Fighter CE And streets of rage 4 brawler genre.. That said.. We repeat this is the best fighter on here. Specifically due to the fact it was designed with touch controls, everything is very fluid. You just flew from one move into another.. It even has leniency in the timing windows to make up for the fact you are using touch screen. We would GLADLY pay the full retail price for the full release of the premium game here on mobile. – OLD REVIEW 2019 Im shocked by its PS4 similarities. How it looks graphically, animates, smooth 60fps… Even copying release of limited characters and release date on April Fools day. Please make sure to release all characters. Please provide an engaging online experience – single player will kill you as a business, you already know this, this is FGC game, not a single player RPG. Please ADD controller support. Here in Mobile one of the most used controllers is the Steel Series Nimbus. (You can work your way from there to add others) but ADD controller support! Playing on glass w/ fingers is not same as controller. BENEFICIAL FOR YOU AS DEVS – FROM APPLE: Look into the recently announced Apple Arcade, it should help you guys. Apple provides support and other benefits for devs – look into it. We would like you guys to prosper, so we may have a wonderful fighting game that gets constant additions sort of like Killer Instinct did, when first it released on Xbox One. Mad love goes out to you guys… Outside of what we mentioned above regarding adding the entire character roster, online matchmaking and controller support, we are beyond impressed with what you have managed do with the mobile port of FEXL. We have a true FGC on the horizon.
Great game but we still dont understand how to unlock the other characters.

We love this game and we just got it we were just wondering if you guys can give us like an arcade mode and a pvp mode so we could vs other people and our friends too we really love this game and we would love to see these things come to this mobile game and finally can you also give us ways to get the other characters as well we hope you read this and add this to your fun exiting mobile fighting game.

Man give us the rest of the players and charge a straight $20 and make a quick million in less than six months or more and if you give us % of the take we can get more guaranteed.

The game has juggling for first thats what really grabbed our attention being able to make 20 hit combos easily but we would love to be able to experience the other characters cause some of them you cant use if the creators could respond and give us access to the rest of the characters we would be really happy.

We LOVE FEXL! We never knew this game existed on mobile. Certainly not on iOS and certainly not free. We havent heard anything about this wonderful PS4 Fighter being on mobile. Im at work and just going about our daily routine, wishing we were at home playing FEXL, and the whole time we couldve just downloaded it to the iPhone in our pocket. April 2019? Our birthday month? We didnt find out about this game until January 2020 on accident from a YouTube channel about iOS fighting games. This is the best Fighter on iOS! We thought punch planet was the best until we downloaded this! Thanks so much.

Before we start saying how awesome this game is.. Let us start with how we believe its unfair how hard we had to look to find this game!!! Apple needs to fix this on the App Store!! Now, This game is AWESOME on the PS4!!! This game looks nice on the phone as well. We highly recommend it to ANYONE who loves fighters. Graphics 10/10 gameplay 10/10 and a hard to forget and easily loveable signature soundtrack.

Im glad we tried it out. We understand that it is in its alpha stages and hope it is completed soon. The 60fps is phenomenal and the controls are simple yet ingenious. We would pay money for this now that we know its this good.

This game is AWESOME ! Im happy that this game is on here because we seen some video on YouTube with games they say is on iOS but the apps are not the two that are not like incredible Mandy and swordsman X , and Im glad that Fighter ExLayer is on iOS. We know its a demo,but its still AWESOME.
We got to hand to them. Akira can make some great stuff when it come right down to it. We believe we played this app too many time to count. We slowing getting use to the controls. We really hope they add more stuff later on (hopefully soon) Due to the fact we dont have a PS4 or a good PC right now, this is a great substitute. Please continue to support this. -Thank you.

Not much to say but fully impressed by the gameplay. Hope the devs are paying attention to reviews because there are a-lot of people on youtube/reddit waiting for a full game release for mobile!! Including us.
This was released by Arika as an Aprils Fool home but we think there is a lot of potential here. The actual game it is based on is on PS4 and PC and is a successor to Street Fighter EX. We really hope this isnt an one off joke and they turn this into a full game.
The first mobile arcade game with touch based moves! Arika has knocked it out of the park! And on mobile! The games beautiful an plays naturally! Just waiting on updates.
We'd buy a real version instantly. This is great and so much work just for an April fools app. The controls are slick and fun. Make it a real app and you'll have our money :).
Simple to play, and nice to kill some time. Love the console versions and honestly would love to see this get some more work done to it. Such as voices and more characters.
While we cant pick up the game for PS4 or PC, Im glad theres a mobile version so we can still support the developers. We have no words at all, Im really enjoying this app. The controls took a while to comprehend, but after looking at the command list and how they work, Ive been experimenting with Blair and having tons of fun with her as well. Looking forward to some updates where the rest of the characters are added little by little, godspeed to you, Arika.
This is just the alpha version but its already looking like it will be incredibly awesome once all of the characters and features are added. If this game has multiplayer in the future then it will be guaranteed to overtake street fighter as the best fighting game on iOS.
This caught us off guard. We have this game on PS4 So thought we wouldnt get used to it. We get that its the April fools version. But we hope we get more characters in it! Nice job Arika.
Super fun, graphics are great and its super smooth, also doesnt drain battery too fast. We hope that the other characters will be released at some point, but as long as skullo mania is in the game Im happy. Great game and super fun.
Its great game with good graphics and immersive combat only thing it needs in our opinion is controller support and pvp.

This is a really cool game but a bit more of the roster and a online mode would be fun but thats okay its still fun.
Good game its just that you cant play with more then like three of four characters.
Game is great but it would be much easier to do combos if we had a 6 button layout like street fighter 4 mobile.
Im not going to lie, when we first saw this game, we were prepared for some bad fighting game mombo-jumbo. Instead, what we got was a game that although it as a small character roster, it felt better than Tekken! Our mind was actually BLOWN from our head as we putted together special moves and combos! This game is better than the Tekken mobile game! (Which is history…). However, this game has it flaws that if not addressed soon, will lead to this beautiful masterpiece dying: -add a multiplayer mode, a story, and a tournament mode! -make the rest of the characters free or with in game currency -perhaps something in which the players could create their own character. Like in the rumble roses franchise. And thats pretty much it! Developers, we hope you update this game soon. It be awful to let this go to waste.

Im so happy that Im able to experience FEXL on mobile since we dont have the full game, and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. We dont care about having a small roster at the start or no pvp mode; Arika is busting their butts giving us their best product, so Ill gladly support them. Our only qualm is the bizarre control scheme; Ive been comfy in other mobile fighting games with a touch joystick and buttons, so its hard to get used to the drawing controls. We request that there will be touch joystick/mfi controller support in the future. Other than that, great game. :).
A mobile fighter that we cant get enough of! This game packs a hard JUSTICE FIST for such a tiny port! The emulated graphics and presentation, the music, the SFX, the newest 3D free-roaming gameplay reminiscent of the original Fighting Layer, and the screen-touch control scheme, this gets our best score! However, the game is kinda limited at the moment. But with further development like adding more characters (w/ voices), more 3D stages (w/ their own themes), Arcade Mode, and Online Matchmaking/Lobbies, this could potentially be the Best Mobile Fighting Game since SF4 for iOS/Android! Please Support Arika, and LONG LIVE #FEXL.
Not gonna lie this game is really good but we wish that we were able to unlock more characters instead of just having 4 and constantly repeating every fight.
It may be better if it had virtual joystick on screen and Bluetooth controller support for better gameplay.
Judging on a port basis The graphics look amazing The touch-controls are actually very easy and make the game fun for casual mobile gamers. But Why go through the trouble of porting the game over with amazing controls, just to stop there? There are barely any available characters, you cannot access Arcade mode or anything else. Youre stuck in training mode.This game has been out for years now so obviously the developer has forgotten this app. There is zero point to this game.
