Story

Everything we ever loved growing up is in this game. Such a wonderful throwback. Wish they made FFX over the phone.
One of the most beloved & written about single-player games of all time, deeply written and brilliantly constructed, this techno-dystopian makes you wonder, is this where we are headed? But putting that aside – the battery performance on this port is phenomenal. Somehow the game doesnt run out the battery even after multiple hours, makes you wonder about other games even from the same era. Probably the rendering or something, dunno. Get this if you havent played it yet and love the series. Cheers.
This is one of our favorite final fantasy games there is behind final fantasy 13 of course we love the story telling and the battle system with the material and ultimate bosses.
We love this game however we would like to ask for it to support the new screen sizes iPad and iPhone sizes please and thank you.

The max stats button!! It literally makes grinding so much harder. Just sitting there and leveling up and working is so much harder when you can just push a button and be done. We hate it.
We have this installed on our iPad, and its a very good port. Theres a feature where you can turn off encounters, if youre feeling lazy. One thing is that the dialogue is rewritten, which isnt really a problem, but theres no this guy are sick. The graphics are improved and it resembles the Nintendo switch version. The controls are not the best considering this is on mobile, but overall, this is a great way to play Final Fantasy 7 portably.
Would love to be able to speed up gameplay and instant limit break as features to turn in and off.
This one was the first final fantasy game Ive played ( friend let us play it) good story line glad it made. Its way to the cell phone give it a try Fun Good graphics Good story line AND ITS FINAL FANTASY ONE OF THE BEST ROLE PLAYING GAMES ( rpg) franchises out there.
Mobile or not its a must have regardless! Best story! Best Final Fantasy game.
Honestly, we just they would add an infinite Gil option. The max stats actually make it so you cant get final attack material so.
Final fantasy 7 is a true masterpiece of a game that belongs in any real gamers arsenal of JRPGS and video game collection on all platforms. FF7 was way ahead of its time on so many levels especially gameplay. The materia system is by far one of the most unique ways to develop a character. This game can be absolutely busted because of the materia system alone. Once you study the materia system and slot materia in armor and weapons for certain ways to activate it. Its mind blowing. A must buy.
Would love to see a 2x or 3x speed to fast forward through some of the game. Would make this perfect.
Played this game for years on our iPad beat it twice with all unlocks. We love it! Gives us nostalgic feelings.
This have never crashed on our phone, we can minimize it to do other things including check online for a walkthrough. We thought when we bought this that the controls might be janky but the truth is that they are very smooth. The game even lets you choose between joystick styles. The game allows you to turn off random battles if you like which we enjoy to save time when revisiting lower level areas that really have no impact on our overall play through. Also, the game will let you skip level grinding all together and allow you to max out all your characters and money at once. We dont recommend that unless you just want to play through for the mini games and storyline. However for some players thats a valuable time saving feature. This is a fantastic game and our favorite from the series. Well worth having it on your phone. No ads or anything since youre buying the game outright.

As mentioned in the title its a great game ive played it on almost every platform its come out on and loved it every single time however we just here recently played it on the ps4 and it completely ruined it on any other console and not for the reason youre thinking it was indeed the original not the sorry excuse of a remake its the 3x speed option it makes everything so much easier and much less time consuming so Id really love if yall could figure out a way to make that happen if not Ill still play the game of course we just dont have much time to sit there and grind away on random battles and the like to max out our materias or build up money and experience so itll take a much much longer time so yeah Id love to see a 3x speed option please.
We hope it translates to posting on an iPhone cuz idk about doing some of the times runs from back then w/no controller. Make sure you get Knights of the Round this time when you face the beast Sephiroth.
This was our favorite game when we were a kid, and coming back to it is nostalgic and amazing.
If kids played games like this more it helps with reading and quick arithmetic math.

We love this game however we would like to ask for it to support iPhone X/XS and iPhone 11 screen sizes please and thank you [still hasnt been fixed and now we have iPhone 13 (still play it all the time however we would like just a update please and thank you )].
We never owned a PS1And Im too young to own the remastered.
We LOVE the game and have beaten it on several occasions and decided to replay it after finishing the Remake but the screen hasnt adjusted to the new versions and is just terribly small. Apart from that, we love this port.
If your curious as to if this game is just like the original version then think no further it is exactly like on the playstation only difference is you can have the option to get max stats & gil and have the option to have no enemies except bosses etc or have to where youll face random enemies this game we would pay 50$ to have it on our iphone.
We love this game but could you add 3 x speed and the other one like on the ps4 version.
So were quick, we are 33 yr old that grew up watching the older brother play when it first came out. We were so in awe of the story line and the character development..no wonder why FFVll is sooo influential for FF fans. This brought us tears as im playing through it. We love this game so much. Thank you for bringing this back to us for our phones.
Awesome but barely able to even see the game anymore since it has been changed to only take the middle of the screen. GueS Im expected to buy one of those big doofy tablet sized phones just to play this now. Deleted.

This is a really cool port of literally the entire game. Its super cool to be able to play it on your phone, and all things considered, it works perfectly. Admittedly, it is rather lazily ported (meaning that little was changed for the mobile version), but that can apply to almost any mobile FF game (Except IX maybe). Overall, it is still a very good game, and we recommend you buy it if you think you can get your moneys worth out of it.
This is a perfect game to play with a controller between your iPad and iPhone when you are on the go. So much content, wonderful story, plenty of replay value (check a guide out after your first run through to see all the stuff you missed). 100+ hours packed into this gem with all the exploration you can do. The only thing its missing is achievements. We cant deduct a star for that though, as this game doesnt need it. Make your own achievements up if you need them.
We loved this game of final fantasy its the best even tho we couldnt get the actual story correct still we beaten the whole game and all weapons defeated we always wanted to play this and then we did it we completed the game :) and maybe some of u should try this it maybe hard at first but get more advantages incase if u dont know where your going go on Y tube and maybe search FF7 walkthrough :/ so ya try this youll love it trust us :).
This is one of the best games of all time and now in our pocket! We only wish it allowed the use of the entire screen for controls and included a nice border. Also, it would be great if the time, power, connection icons would move to the top of the screen in the new border instead of staying on in the top of the phone position.
Love this game so happy its an app now. Its easier playing with a game controller but oh well Im enjoying it anyway. Now we hope they make a FF 8 app.
Final fantasy was the first ever game Ive played and its amazing no problems.
Havent even finished downloading yet but this is by far our favoritist game of all time we grew up with the franchise we use to play this for endless hours completed many many times before. We dont play video games anymore but this is our first iPhone we saw this and immediately had to have it. Thanks for making a mobile version.

First off, there was no auto saving mechanic in the original. Doubt he actually played the ps1 version. Auto saving in fact would make it too easy. Its apart of the game to save where you are able to get to. Pretty much every final fantasy game. Game is great. Story is very well written with points very well connected. Gameplay is great. Of course playing on mobile port, you have little annoyances such as the layout and small bugs here and there. Otherwise, this game is perfect in every way.
We just have to say that we grew up playing the final fantasy games and 7 was one of the ones we just loved to play. You guys did such a great job! We cant thank you enough for making this game on iOS and for letting us relive those childhood memories! Im always on the go so this is a great way for us to just relax and enjoy the game when we need to take our mind off the world. We just want to say though we really wish you guys can someday soon be able to bring Final Fantasy VIII onto iOS as well! To be able to have both those games would be a Fantasy come true! So, we played this version and we have to say we loved every second of it. All glitches have been fixed, and we thoroughly enjoyed having access to ffvii every where we went. After playing it on iOS, we learned about Yuffie warping. Id love to use it for a play through with Aerith. Has anyone accomplished this on the iOS version.
Brings back awesome memories! Wish we could use the max stats to pick what we wanted to increase. Meaning if we just want to increase Gil, we can do that instead of everything.
Was always our favorite RPG. But if we can make a suggestion, you folks should add an update, to allow for replenished magic and health during battle, as well as playing through at a high rate of speed. Like you did with FF9. Then, itd be perfect. Otherwise.

Square Enix please we love the final fantasy games and as right now all the time we have to play then is on our phone ( we might not be the only one with that problem since lots of people work) well to continue with our review this game is amazing and cant think of something to say just how well the game was sent for Mobil platforms is fantastic and we pay the 15.99 for this game and we dont regret it we love it, but please we have a request and would love it it you guys would make it possible, please bring final fantasy VIII to the Mobil platform please we would pay 15.99 again for that game.
This IS our childhood game and with the remake coming we had to replay, everything in this game is perfect, except a few controls like chocoholic racing and bike battles are difficult, other that that its been absolutely worth the price tag to relive our favorite childhood game.
Well we got to say WOW !!!!! Its finally here !! Years have gone by and Ive been waiting for this. We knew this would happen it had to happen. We love this game so much it was our first rpg Ive ever played and we loved so much . It has a great story sound and characters for its time back then now we get to relive it and it in an app wow.
On the iPad FF7 feels like a whole new experience for us, the amount of detail you can see is just amazing. Also being able to use our DualShock 4 with this game is just the best, highly recommend this game.
Since we started playing this game at the age of 16, we cannot remember any other that has impacted us more. Yes the graphics are dated, but everything else, gameplay, music, story, and characters have held up well. Cloud and Tifa are our favorite VG heroes and Sephiroth villain. It doesnt get any better than this.
We got this because FF VII is one of our favorite games ever. We have only ever bought one game on the app store and it was this game and we loved it. No problems with the game or controls or port at all. We have read several reviews criticizing the lack of an auto save. For those people all we have to say is grow a pair. There was no auto save on the PS1 version of the game. You had to go from save point to save point and not do something stupid like get yourself killed in the process. And if you did die, or you had to leave, that was that. Unless you wanted to risk your PS1 and leave the game and the TV on while you were out of the house. And save points are a dime a dozen and once you are on the world map, you can save any where. So it isnt even an argument. Hell, there is a save point 5 mins into the game. You can always save when ever you need to. So, grab this game. Play it. Grid like there is no tomorrow. Bask in the nostalgia and have a blast playing it over and over again.
