Solid game if you enjoy fighting together and destroying your enemy. The game is great for killing time.

To those who used to play GOW, youll see very similar everything. An alliance is now called a league, a kingdom is now a domain etc we would recommended that the packs come with full gear sets. Also the amount of time that it takes to go from one VIP level to another is stupid long. Ive been stuck at level 9 VIP and Im a spender. Its been months. Seems too heavy. The cost of researching monsters and battle are not worth it considering the hero experience or power. We would prefer to play the old GOW format tenfold. BUT, Im sentimental, and it is very similar aside from the aforementioned things. Play at your own risk.
Feel like Im playing the old Game of War. Love this!!! We got super big on GOW and then it got glitchy and it was pain and was sooo sad until this one came out.

You play some games because they are hard . Every game does not need to spoon feed the player gold.
If you played the original game of war, then you know exactly what theyre going to do here but anyways for those of you that are coming into the game, they say its a free game but you required to do these steps you have to spend at least $50 to unlock certain things within the castle yeah, but they have it listed as a free game. These need to be turned in for stealing peoples money from the original, and never learning from any mistakes. This company needs to be shut down.
They have tried their hardest, but why so stingy on simple things like hero energy, stamina, and protection shields. You literally cannot build or research past SH17 without more patience than a monk, or spending HELLA money. This game brings back SO MUCH nostalgia of the fun and camaraderie from GOW, but impossible to play without going broke or being wiped out by big spenders.
Game did an update and there is a new mini game which replaced archero. Dont like the new one and lost all our coin rewards in Archero. Didnt even get to spend them.
Fun game like GOW, we can still enjoy the fun of war here.

The game does require a dollar here and there but its still very rewarding.
First, while there is some negative reviews, a lot of them havent played a war game or understand the concept of being zeroed because you forgot to re-shield. If there is an actual technical error and you couldnt login to re-shield for any reason and have proof, Customer Service are accommodating and helpful. It is all real time and you can be zeroed/lose all your units at any time if youre not careful. So to the actual positive review, for anyone who played Game of War back when it was at its prime (like 2012 time era, before the crazy updates) it has that exact similar feel. We personally like this game a bit more then old Game of War solely for the monsters concept it has. But this game has been around for some years now and hasnt gone to T50000 (nothing above T4 thank God) whereas if you look at GoW, they have like T5000 now lol. The games customer service does take a little while to respond to you, however, Ive never had an issue not having a response come to us. Theyve fixed every issue Ive had and Im happy to say that, as other games have not given the time of day. If you join a good league, even as a f2p player, the spenders help their loyal people continue to upgrade and improve with the multiple gift options and resources, which has been vital for a lot of people. While its hard to not spend anything at all, it is possible if you play the game the right way, and avoid taking the hits from the heavy spenders, and taking the hits from those you know you can beat/with guidance from your league. Overall, we give this 5/5 stars because this game has a great feel, it has incredible people if you find the right league for you, customer service tries their best to be accommodating (especially if youre in their discord group – their discord mod is very responsive!), and the battles are always fun! We gave 2 stars because the game itself is fun and we have a fun alliance. That being said it would be no stars if not for that because dont count on them to make it right when theres a problem with the game and you get zerod and lose everything! They obviously only care about giving you excuses why they dont need to make it right so you have to either spend more to rebuild or just quit! Pretty dismal customer service for a game that costs quite a bit of money to play.

If you played GOW then you might be excited to see this game pop up but stay away. Im not sure which one is greedier but after a month Id say this one. The cost of growing is astronomical and you'll have to spend and spend to stay relevant. This game has no potential of growing big because the people who has endless funds will keep you from wanting to play unless youre one of them. Sure glad it only took a short time to find out that this is just another money grab game. Disgusting.
We really would like to give this game 5 stars but it hasnt even been 48 hours and it stops right at the intro screen. We were really getting into it but now we cant play it.
As a player in k31 whos spent money on an account. It has came to a halt. 90% of players if not more are on strike. We ask for the game to be fixed. The packs in domains are different. Also putting stronger domains against smaller domain in DVD which is completely unbalanced and unfair. We are not going to be playing this game till we get a proper response and see changes. Ive really enjoyed this game so far, its the first one thats gotten us invested in awhile, smooth interface, not too much getting thrown in your face, and from our server we have about 6-7 active Leagues going strong so its a nice active server.
Is there a way to allow someone to remain R5 of their own league and allow one of their members to become hedgemon and allow R5 to remain without having to transfer leadership when wonder is taken.
Devs are destroying the game with their greed at an astonishingly rapid pace. Truly amazing how greedy they are. Do not play.
We have 2 purchases the game refuses to refund ones 99.99 and ones 19.99 we didnt make these and they refuse to refund the money through apple so if you play watch your account closely and in game support said it would be refunded to us.
The people that run this game are absolute garbage. We were banned for trying to sell our account when we wasnt trying to sell our account. Thats right folks, these idiots blocked us from logging onto our account with an accusation that was FALSE. No one investigated, no one showed proof, no one warned us. Woke up one day and couldnt log in. We watched as our city burned from another account when our shield fell. $4,000 gone and wasted. Do not download this game, let it die. Theres only 3 servers left anyway, its dying already.
We would say thank you for making this game and please do not get money hungry like MZ/GOW and ruin it with additions to the game all of the time. Keep it slow and you will have a game that lasts forever.
Developers have gone bonkers over restricting accounts un substantiating SS other players send them. They dont know whats fake and what isnt. Sadly good players being targeted, eliminated by other players to get rid of competition. This game is not recommended, lot of money lost over mismanagement.
Game good but the developers are to money hungry. You must spend thousands of dollars. Packs are ridiculously high in price and you do not receive much. If you have money to burn play game. Events you receive little in return. Game should be called greed.
We been playing for over 6 months and spent thousands of dollar and can't get any good gear or monsters. In these kind of games you need to spend to compete. We know this and that not the issue, it when you spend hundreds of dollars and you still can't get good gear or monsters. We were hoping they would be better then Game of War. Could have been a step up from GOW but they are not save your money and buy gas for your car, lol.
Hard to play without spending , packs cost way toooooo much ! Not that many free opportunities to earn rss or speed ups .. Could use better options . Lowering price of packs would encourage more people to spend and play and would make the developers more money over all.
Ive been playing this game for about 5 months now, there are so many glitches. Each time you log out and in to another account, it kicks you, every single time. Doesnt save your account info on each account, so you have to type it all in every, single, time. The events do no give near enough rewards for the amount of money you expect people to spend to be competitive. This is is so much like GOW, and the devs are greedy greedy. Stop making games so expensive.
Please fix all the crashing..seems every time we finish a building it crashes and we dont get credit for events..also we will log into our main account and it will crash and we have to re log in every time now.

We enjoy the game but not customer service. We tried to change the email on our account but never received a verification email. Now Im locked out and neither email address works!!! Im zeroed and after 4 days no one will reply to many messages to customer service!!!! Waisted money.
They like to advertise items, have you buy them, then change them and make them worthless.
Packs give you gems called Term gems but do not give you any boosts Therefor youre buying gems that do nothing at all First the game states it does attack boost then they go ahead and turn it around Reporting to apple store for false advertising Im no knowledgeable man of the law, but Im Pretty sure thats illegal to do.
As being new to gaming at all, this is a fun way to learn and be successful. We find though that we cant afford all the packs. But, Im learning how to grow without them. The people Im with have been teaching us all we need to know. Very interactive. Great fun.
Full disclosure, spent a little under a grand on this game. At first seemed very similar to GoW, without the pay to win aspect. Was fun for the first 2 weeks, after the first 2 kill events however, realized the no matter how much you spend, youre still just gonna get no where without spending even more. You will always be at the bottom of the food chain unless to take out a bank loan to spend on this game. If we could give it zero stars, we would.
The game is great. We, like many used to play GOW. This is very similar to that game but better perks. The researches get a little crazy in respect to rss cost and research time. But the game does give many opportunities to earn speeds and rss through events. They do give back to players and even design packs for the spenders that give back to them for their loyalty.
As a new player in this in kingdom 17 its not that bad its like old school game of war but they need to add more packs with gear and materials in the packs instead of daily quest refreshes and stuff you want to keep a high level player base you have to give them what they want take it from game of war the packs they put out had people buying 5 at a time fix the packs make it more worth while and yall will have a sick game with booming population. Also we need research gear badly.

This is a awesome game to play and pass time with. You get a chance to meet and talk to players all over the world. Unlike other games you have a chance to grow and not get zeroed everyday.
If you liked Game of War, you will like this game. Its still growing and has stuff to be sorted out but over all its fun.
We had some issues with game but the devs have listened and improved a few packs. Some new animations and have a few reduction gear pieces. Overall we do like this game. Remember is a marathon not a sprint.
We recently upgraded to iPhone from an android and traded our old phone in. We are unable to login due to our two step verification codes being expired and there is no secondary way to login to our account. Other than that, its an awesome game.
We have some advice. We have spent over $120,000 on this game between several accounts and we are on the other side of the table from you guys. We do however understand that you guys are trying to build a good game. A lot of the demands our counter parts are proposing are pretty hefty. If you would like to have an intelligent conversation about the game and some realistic modifications that wouldnt make you rewrite the whole code then we are level headed and willing to help you. Basically Game of War source code. Resource requirements past level 16 are ridiculous. Expect to spend hundreds or more on this game if you want to compete. Just like GOW, great concept, greedy execution.
Almost an exact replica of Game Of War: Fire Age. The only thing setting this at GOWFA is the crappy graphics. Same exact concept to get you to buy into it with microtransactions. If we could we would give it -5 stars. Also do not believe the 5 star reviews as they are most likely fake.
We have had a fun time learning and playing this game so far.
