We think its ok but we started to day and we havent lost once but its stressful and a really fun game you should get it.
We absolutely loved this game. People can say what they want. Not a sore loser but once our ranking hit about 700. Look out every game multiple shots taking out all of our ships on the first strike second third no matter where we put them on the board. Change our formation multiple times still first shot. Second shot third shot fourth shot hit hit hit hit hit. Moving on, done with. Enjoy those cheat codes.
The game is fun, and easy to play but there are too many cheaters/bots in the system. How is it that a player has a 10+ win streak comes in and hits three of our ships in the first round – without missing a spot? The ships are scattered around, and we change the arrangement periodically yet these bots work their magic. Players should have the ability to decline playing someone who has a dishonest ranking – its not fair for legitimate players. Also, it seems rather coincidental that most of these cheating bots also have turned off their chat option, so someone cant even engage them during the match to see if they are real. Its only a game, but please tighten up on the cheating. Please give an option to never play opponent again so those of us who want to have fun can continue to do so.
The tutorial was fun but it kept crashing when we wanted to play an actual game.
We grew up playing battleship and loved the game. Sadly, this electronic version is NOT safe from pathetic hackers. We have played matches where we couldnt hit anything within 12 rounds and magically these players who have 30+ wins over their loss are not just pegging our pieces, but making their misses obvious so the match doesnt end too quickly. Youll see what we mean if you download this game. The only reason we play this anymore is to play against the computer and we have finally decided to just delete the game because it seems that the idea of people hacking their game is ok. Sorry, but this game is not worth the frustration caused by hackers! Perhaps if you added a software update to report people for hacking it might improve things!
Every time you touch it you have to watch a ad .
The game is actually really good but when you get the label of dishonorable it is close to impossible to find a match. This would be a great deterrent to stop people from quitting in the middle of matches but the problem is we have never left a game early and yet we have somehow earned the title of dishonorable. And once you earn that title it says you are dishonorable forever.. We dont understand this strategy, the only thing we can think we did to earn this title was exiting from the app after finishing games and not watching ads. Either way we are no longer able to find matches online and therefore have to delete the app.
Would love to play more but ads are way longer than any other game and almost 100% after every game you get one never play more than one or two games at a time because of this. Done on purpose to make you pay.
Very fun until we started running into opponents with this feature enabled. Cant count how many times we lose by 1 ship and then see their patrol boat is hidden. Maybe this means we have 6 ships on the board and they have 5 + 1 phantom ship that does not exist? Now we are coming across players with 2 ships hiddenupdate: we appreciate the developer response that the hidden ships are def there, just not hit yet. Enjoying the game again but still dont like Top Secret mode and never use it myself.
Where is the friends list located? Where do we go if we want to remove a friend?
Had a bad experience with trying to play ,tried to purchase an add-on but between the vague instructions and lack of support which kept us confused on how to use the add-on , it was very difficult to try and get a refund for lack of knowledge on everyone s part, in our opinion we would definitely not recommend this game..
This review comes after nearly a year of playing this game. This game will challenge you to rethink everything you think you know about battleship strategy. We personally didnt like it after the initial easy beginning newbie matches because we were getting shredded by players left and right. We ended up messaging the admins for help and they came through big with some strategy ideas. After learning to implement the new ideas on play we still lose sometimes but now we hold our own and we are having a blast just as you will too! Do it! (Best Palpatine voice)
Classic board game brought to life.
But we dislike the hidden ships of your opponent at the end of a loosing battle … When you loose a close one by one strike it’s frustrating.
Way too many cheaters and ads to enjoy this game which is unfortunate. Statistically how can anybody be 20-1? Good graphics and UI otherwise but not worth the time.
After about 200 games, obvious that the there are many players using cheat or helper programs. Many games played have unusually high first attempt direct hit on many ships with statistically low miss rates.
We cant play more than one game because of the ads. They are out of control. A minute long ad EVERY GAME.
Playing this version is a whole lot better than the original Battleship of the 70s. This is as close to a real battle as u will get Thank you.
This is a really well-made game. However, a suggestion to the devs: check out the free version of battleship on msn. Com. In that version of the game, you can qualify for advanced weapons that can hit more than one square at a time which is pretty fun. One thing they dont have in that version, which would be fun is a torpedo: pick a row or column, and the torpedo travels along it until it hits something. Advanced shots just represents another level, or multiple levels, of game play.
Our bf gets to play but we cant play him because we keep getting sent to the web? By an ad or something. Unhappy support is non existent.
We’ve played this for years until now. At beginning we were offered a Rummy game we didnt want. No matter what we done it would not go away & let us back to Battle Fleet. When it came to deleting game & loosing our data thats our braking point!
So tired of having to watch ad after ad without playing.

Recently when we play standard or classic, the game acts like Im playing Russian mode, ever since we tried the Russian mode. When a ship gets blown up, the whole outer perimeter gets Xd out. It wasnt always like this when we first started playing a few weeks ago. We scoured through match settings to see if we could revert it back to normal but we dont think its a changeable setting, hence us saying its bugged.
We just updated and we still get kicked out. App closes on us within seconds.
This game could be good if 40% of the ads didnt freeze the gamin forcing you to quit/relaunch. And 1/3rd of the time it hangs on the starting screen again forcing you to hard quit it. Plus there are way too many steps to be able to jus play the game multiple times through. This feels like work, not play.
This is still the best battleship game on the App Store. Its a must play.
Way better then ClubPigeons version. Love playing against other people. Simple and easy app to use not confusing at all. A very fun & competitive game ! Who doesnt like a challenge?!? (:
Fun to Play, Easy to Learn, Quick to get to end of match, and International Players from around the Globe.
When we were in our younger years we always wanted to play battleships the board game. And we were scrolling down the App Store we saw fleet battle. We were like ok, we checked the pictures of the game and immediately saw it was our favorite board game set up so we were extremely excited. We check the reviews some had 1 stars so we read through them and we jumped right into the app. Immediately we felt in love. Love at first sight, it is a 3D battleships game that you can Customize ships and get new modified ones! It does a lot of game modes and offline so if your on a plane it will work (I hope we havent been on a plane in a bit) Now everyones least favorite ads, dont worry ads wont frustrate you to much. All in all we have no complaints its just one rulehave fun. Dont let the other 1 star reviews put down this masterpiece of a game. (Note to devs, Thank you for bringing back our childhood)
Although A few things could be taken as somewhat odd (aka the main game mode containg presets as 6 ships and salvo)- this game, in its entirety, is not half bad. In fact, quite good! We do wish that the skins for the ships would be a bit cheaper though, because it doesnt benefit the ship.. But thats besides the point- Anyway, we give this game 3 wrecking balls out of 4 Miley Syruses.

The cheating is extremely annoying . It doesnt matter if it is AI or another player . We guess the coding must be easy to break . They know exactly where your ship is and almost always land a hit on their first try. AI will literally hit three ships at the start leaving you struggling to even locate one of their ships . This whole factor makes the game a waste and not fun at all . We are uninstalling this game.
Often have the title as dishonorable. Dont get it. We have never left a game on our own. Often we are waiting for advertisements to end and then when they do, we see we were matched with a person and they have left. Sometimes the game glitches and closes and then we have a dishonorable title. Its not our internet, everything else in our house is working and connected just fine. Also, we totally get the advertisements are needed or we can pay, however, they last forever or trick you. Tricking isnt fair. No clear time line of when you can leave the advertisement.
No matter if we always finish our games somehow we always become dishonorable. We even thought maybe we need to pay for no ads that might help. No! No matter what we do we always get most dishonorable rating eventually. Please help!
Cant play against friends. Keep trying to challenge but it never works!
So we found out what classifies you as Dishonorable in this game. It has nothing to do with completing a game because we would complete the game until it said Continue at the bottom. As soon as you click that continue an advertisement begins. Once the advertisement is done you can select the option to close the ad or follow it. Once you close it you go back to the main screen. We didnt want to waste our time watching the same stupid ads after every game. So as soon as the ad began we would close the app and reopen it. It saved tons of time, but we learned that THIS made us become labeled as dishonorable. We even deleted our account and started fresh to find the same result. So there is no reason to use the Honorable Retreat flag if you know the game is over. Refusing to watch the stupid ads is what makes you dishonorable. The app developers told us once before that the honorable retreat flag prevented the dishonorable tag but that was a lie.
Absolutely love this game. And if we have a question, they are quick to help and answer.
We play this game in order to get our mind off of everything else! And we enjoy it thoroughly.
This app is so much fun. We had it for YEARS! This is the only app that we use on a daily basis. Its so much fun and constantly new updates and features. Highly recommend this app!

Love this battle ship game. As a graveyard dispatcher we love to this when things get extremely slow at work. Graveyard tends have A LOT of down time when between 2am and 5am. We play this when we start feel tired. It keeps our brain engaged. We do wish we could have salvo in multiplayer though. Sometimes the one hit takes forever.
