The new update that brought back the original gameplay makes the gameplay more annoying.
We really like this game but after each level theres an add after add after add so its annoying we get that your trying to get more people to play your game but the ads after each level and even before you play are a bit much.
We liked the game at first but with the tap to flip update it totally ruined it for me.
We used to absolutely LOVE this game. Id okay it constantly and was easily our favorite game. The new tap update ruined all our 400+ level progress and any chance of us enjoying the game again. Its honestly horrible and we wish they would bring the wheel back.
We used to love this game and have played hundreds of levels. However since the latest update with the tap to flip control we cant stand playing it anymore. We really miss the wheel option where we felt like we had more control over the ball. If they could add a choose your control option we would happily go back to playing it. Until then though we wont be playing again.
It should be an option to switch back to the spinning wheel. We personally dont like the tap to flip. We were on level 150 and now that it had the two to flip we are no longer interested in playing this game.
Tap to flip really takes away from the skill level. Now you kinda dont have much room for error which is ok but it was a lot more fun when you could control every single move. Please go back to the old gameplay!
The new tap to flip update has not made the game any fun like it used to be with the wheel you could use. We havent been able to pass a single level since the tap to flip update was put in place.
Loved the game when you had to be careful about turning the platforms. It felt like an actual game, but now tapping to flip the platforms is aggravating. The levels move faster, and it is no where near as challenging and rewarding as it was. Im sadly deleting one of our favorite games since theres no option to turn the feature off.

New controls is not relaxing. No choice of going back. Bad move developers.
3.0 Update completely changed the game and for the worse. Game was much more exciting and fun to play before when you actually had to tilt the platforms and use strategy to determine how hard you should hit the ball to get it where you want to go. With the tap to flip update, the platforms can now only move to two different preset directions, making the gameplay mindless and boring. Please change the game back.

Relaxing game as was. Got up to level 330. Today there is an update you call more relaxing? Nah. Please update with play options. We like the wheel. Probably won’t be back with new play style.
Flippy Floors used to be a great game, but ever since they released update 3.0, they completely flipped the script to something worse. First of all, they removed the crank system and replaced it with a relaxing one tap turn style. Sure, it might be relaxing, but it ruins the classic play style and makes the game feel a little more boring. Secondly, they removed many obstacles so that the only ones left could be destroyed by the new shield mechanic. Not only does this make the game less exciting, but it also makes it less appealing, since its just the same circle-shaped red barrier. No more spinning spike platforms. No more spike strips. Just the same bland obstacle over and over again. Third, they replaced the world system with an endless mode, taking out the star collecting mechanic. Sure, it might have been somewhat pointless, but it made the game more thrilling to complete. Now the only thing you can collect is coins, which gets a little monotonous after a while. Maybe if the stars were brought back and they added a shop where you could spend stars, then the stars would have use. Finally, the animation for completing a level is drab. The old animation looked visually pleasing, but now they have an animation thats unexciting and somewhat makes it feel not worth it to complete a level. All in all, we think Voodoo needs to either reverse this update or make it so that the crank system and the one-touch system are separate modes, because what they have now is an unexciting concept.
We used to love this game until it updated to tapping to flip the gears. We liked moving it in a circle on our own. We guess it can still be fun but we dont like the tapping to move the gears. It was the only game we found that was like it when many games are tap to play. Might as well try the game if youve never played though.

We were really very excited about this game when we started playing. Its super fun and challenging and satisfying. However as we continued on The levels pretty much stayed the same no matter how many you did it was as if they were just rearranging the levels. We wanted something new and different and there are so many creative things that couldve been done. Well be careful what you wish for because with the update we dont even get the game at all anymore. There was no tutorial nothing explaining how this new version works and it seems to us impossible to play. We just simply dont get it. They couldve updated the game made it more interesting and fun without changing the entire interface. Now its not playable.
When we started playing this game we loved it and thought it was super fun to play every once in a while or if we were bored and needed something to do. We went to play it today and what did we see? AN UPDATE THAT WAS IRREVERSIBLE! We dont like this update, if you couldnt tell, and Im pretty sad about it. So sad In fact that we deleted the game and am writing this review out of anger. If you like games that completely change things up on you then get this one. 3 stars for the update, 5 stars for what the game used to be ;(
We think you should give back the wheel and let us manually control it like the old version and let us have the speed runs back. Also, we want to see all the levels we’ve completed and catch stars again. We think the update you have now should an option to play that way or play the old way. Please give it back.
This used to be our favorite game, one that we would play nearly every day and enjoy constantly. However, we were surprised with a new update that completely changed the way the game is played, and no longer enjoy it. We hope there is a setting available soon that allows the option to play the way it was before, and if not, unfortunately we will no longer be playing.
We dont like the new update at all. We like being able to control what Im doing and not having it so easy. We love the game but this update is a step down not up.

We hate this new update. We found it so fun to be able to use the wheel to control the obstacles, its completely different now and not as fun. Please make a choice for tapping, the wheel or the lever thing. It was way better :(

The new update has made playing this game far more difficult for us, quite the opposite of relaxing as the original controls were. :( Hoping for an update to switch between control options, otherwise we might have to get rid of this app. Ill update this review in the future – but this game is so fun, we dont want to get rid of it!

We’ve had this game for a while and Im on level 346 but what is up with this new update?? Im completely lost and dont know how Im controlling everything. We think this could use some editing or at least a tour of how to play.
We loved this game, but this new one touch control thing is really just far more annoying and removes the more interesting spinning control we liked and does NOT make it more relaxing.

We loved this game until the new update that got rid of the wheel-like controls came out. This new update where you just tap to rotate makes the game so much less fun. Absolutely disappointed in this game now.
The old game you could control the skin with a wheel and you felt like you were in control. Now you just push a button and this is less relaxing because you have to time it. They put in the update notes it’s more relaxing but by no means is this more relaxing. You could go at your own pace before and now you can’t.
We hate the new update! It was so much more fun before. The new controls are too mechanical and takes away from the free feel of the old one. Wish we had never updated. We will be deleting it now. And now we notice that you are not posting the new reviews. We guess you arent man enough to take the criticism. We suspect that there are many more who have voiced their opinions only to be silenced.

This was our all time favorite mobile game for a while. But now theres this update. The wheel mechanism is gone, and instead you just tap the screen to switch the platforms from one position to another. Its boring and changes gameplay completely. Its called Flippy Floors, not Tappy Floors. We want the old game back.
It was so fun until you updated it to be weird.
That game was awesome to play before this latest update. The ability to control the board was what made this game fun. Now you have to tap the screen to get the pieces to move to a predetermined position thereby giving you very limited control over your ball. Not in anyway enjoyable to play now. Please remedy this.
We liked playing the game when we had a few minutes down. We enjoyed the original nature of the game which was moderately skill based and allowed you to move at your own pace. You had maneuver the ball with small rotations for more percussion and control. You also had the option to choose game type (Star collection or speed run) and the ability to play previous levels to collect missed stars or beat a best time. The new update gutted all of that functionality. There is no more fine maneuvering. There are no more game types. You can no longer move at your own pace because you will be penalized for not moving the ball. And you dont have the option to select previous levels. Im deleting the app because of this new update.
Previous to the most recent update, we had played over 400 levels of this game and it was honestly our favorite game of all time. With this new tap to flip update, the game is completely unplayable and has lost all of its appeal. To the developers: This game wasnt good because it was relaxing, it was good because it had a good learning curve and it required some speed and finesse. We dont want to be relaxed, we want to be involved and challenged. You have killed a 5 star game in one single update. Press undo. UPDATE*** we’ve been playing it more and we dont hate it as much but its still nowhere near as good as it used to be. Voodoo should make it an option to switch back to the old version with the spinning wheel instead of the tap to flip. ALSO the physics is super messed up and it makes you lose almost every round the first time around because you fall off the track and theres no way to avoid it. Fix your game Voodoo!
We bought this game because we enjoyed the original game and the speed mode. Now the new update feels like a completely new game. Not the one we purchased, will never buy/play another game made by these people.
This is the worst update of this game.
