We're bringing a centuries-old classic to iOS: Backgammon.
Play backgammon as it was meant to be played. Fluid Backgammon brings the classic household board game to your iPhone. Play against the artificially intelligent opponent (A.I.), or play with a friend on the same device.
Our A.I. uses complex neural network evaluation algorithms to determine the correct move based on a game-tree search. Select from Easy, Medium (and coming soon- Hard) modes as your skill level in the game progresses.

Im a Big fan of this app. Love the simplicity of the bold graphics and realistic sound effects of the dice being thrown on a wood board. We have never played an backgammon app before that is this neutral or random a dice roll. Others apps, when played repeatedly – you can sense the programming and often guess the computers next roll. Which wont help you learn the true game of backgammon, just how to beat that particular app.
This new app is our favorite of all the backgammon apps we have used. It has a great design, accommodates one or two players, and has multiple skill levels. The response time is fast, and navigation is intuitive. If you are looking to learn the game or improve your skills, this is definitely the app to go with.
This is the first backgammon app we have actually enjoyed! It is very well done, and we highly recommend it.

We are a backgammon enthusiast and we can assure you this app is the real deal. The look of the board is quite realistic.
We love this backgammon game, and Ive tried a bunch of them. It seems the fairest by far, with seemingly no built in advantages against a single player. We ha e only one question for the developer. HOW CAN we TURN THE SOUND OFF.
The interface of this game is great. Fast and efficient. But the computers choice of moves is terrible. With just a bit more eork it could be great.
We are enjoying this backgammon game. Would like to see a difficult level included and also stats on win/losses. Otherwise its the best out there. At first we thought the computer was biased but after playing many games we realized its not. If you enjoy playing backgammon youll enjoy this.
The play is smooth & smart – and with the AI taking time to "think", it feels more realistic and fun. However, we must add the game at medium level (still no high level yet), is rather easy to beat. You won't always win if you are a good player, but you'll win say, 75% of the time. A refreshing thing is, we don't think this app "cheats" on dice rolls like many others. NOTE: Its been years without an upgrade now. So its the apps been dropped from 3 to 2 stars in our ratings. Check out Backgammon NJ – by far the best backgammon app out right now. From old review: To the developer (years ago): bring on the "hard/expert" level! Also, make the doubling cube optional.
Its too small to see/play and not resizable! Uses incorrect terminology, e.g., correct terminology is stones, not checks.
The app crashes constantly, and every time the app closes (whether on purpose or through crash) you lose all game progress. Some serious code rewriting needed.
Pretty bad if you can't move a small number before a large one, especially when coming off the bar. Otherwise decent. Would play if they fix that.
