Maybe a little more explanation on what each effect does. We paid the premium lifetime and our music still gets stopped every time we open the app unless we force it to play through a different device, thats a stupid feature. We understand for non-paying it would make sense to limit that capability, but not for premium users, we dont have all our music downloaded in iTunes and shouldnt be forced to play music through the app just to play with some water effects while we relax.
We really like the visual effects and sound design we love how all the different types are totally customizable Its really helping through a stressful time In our life and we has been our favorite relaxing app BUT we WISH IT WAS ALL FREE.
Visually and control wise this is a stunning and fun app. (I’ve only purchased it for MacOS even though it appears from the documentation to be focused on iOS. ) IM unable to get the audio input trigger option to work on our studio or studio display. We does allow an MP3 file to be loaded and played. Nice app otherwise.
We’ve been looking for a good music visualizer for a while now, and Fluids seems to fit much of our criteria. However we found a few nagging issues that make the experience less pleasant and a massive time-sink, not to mention things happening behind the scenes that are quite disconcerting. First the more superficial things it would be nice if the "settings" were independent of the presets, like being able to just set the speed of the movement independent of what the visualization calls for. For example, we were looking to cycle through all the presets, but we wanted to see them all as slow visualizations, not maxed out at 1.0 so it became cumbersome and an absolute time sink setting each visualization preset to the slowest setting to see it in that context. One other less than desirable fact is that many of the visualizations are quite similar with very few notable differences between them. Although with the purchased version (which we have) has more presets, one isn’t getting the kind of variety that one might want or expect. But the last thing that makes the app high maintenance for us, and in turn less likely to use without babysitting its output, is that it generates MASSIVE log files. When we say massive, we mean MASSIVE and it can’t be understated. The first day of poking around with the application and all of its settings and features somehow generated an 88 GIG log file. We hadn’t discovered this until our Adobe apps were complaining about only 2 GB available on our default scratch disk (the main drive), which is when we uncovered the 88 GB log file, found with the CleanMyMac app. It’s a great start to the app but I’d love to see deeper variety of visualizations (like more ambient style visualizations, different types of textures that are more subtle and nuanced in nature). The ones available are all pretty aggressive and distinctly lacking some chill vibes. And beyond that, the log file issue has to be addressed.
We absolutely like this app! It climbs us down the anger ladder to a level 1. Thanks to fluids!
This app is wonderful and growing. The pressure sensitivity in combination with extremely beautiful colors make it a world all by itself. It allows you to record videos which is very unique in these art apps, especially the ones with cool colors. We love it.
This game is amazing. It helps a lot with sensory and it’s great for when we’re overwhelmed. However, it’s a little too bright. We wish there was an option for the colors to not get so bright!
At first, we were overwhelmed with all the parameters however, after working with this app for a couple days, we see how important they all are to customizing the image you desire. Using this app to sync with our music brings a whole new dimension to the experience, we absolutely love this app! We want a wall that does what it does. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is because we think the psychedelic and presets should be combined as one purchase.
We make music vids with the awesome video images. We love this app. Im still learning a few things but also just enjoy discovering what we can do on it. We advise everyone to give it a try weather for personal or professional use!
So we never used any audio-visual apps for relaxation because we didnt think of them as much useful. However, combining the presets/fluids/visuals in this app with our music we instantly fell in love. Although, it would have been more enjoyable if the app played the music on Bluetooth devices while displaying the visuals!
This app is beyond helpful for people with all kinds of little difficulties (my words). Im neurodivergent, bipolar, and we have a severe anxiety disorder. This app has been able to calm us down out of a panic attack like nothing else, except maybe if Im able to focus on making jewelry (what we do), but most of the time we cant when Im that far gone. This we can do. And we love it. We get lost in it. Thank you.

How could you not love this app? The visuals the ambiance all of it!
We use Fluids during a regular, stressful medical procedure. It’s fantastic for giving us something chill and soothing to focus on, and to help us zone out so our procedure can work properly. The developer is incredibly resposive and helpful – we had an issue after an update and they were able to get us a workaround almost immediately, and a fix later. Super grateful for this app!
The app is great! Love the customizations available but a couple of things that need attention. 1: our iPod gets VERY HOT after using it for a short period of time. 2: its difficult to reset the fluid motions after creating one to play with as we would call default settings. Other than these things the app is a creative and great way to relieve stress or jam out to.
Amazing graphics that sync better than the Hardware using MIDI to SYNC with each other!!! Don’t waste your money on a fancy projector and software; this app on the monitors is MORE than "sufficient".

We liked this app when it worked, but now every time we open ut, it almost immediately crashes.
This app works great and is brilliantly easy to use. Stunning visuals and the new UI looks and works just like the mobile app. For simulating fluid interactions, we haven’t come across any other app as specialised or competent as this. Serioulsly cannot recommend enough. Bonus, the developer is incredibly speedy at addressing any bugs or issues that may arise in the app. Definitely worth it.

Love the flowing fractal-style colors (can tweak many settings) to aid in relaxation. Also tried the music visualizer, although we’re not really sure it moves in sync with the music. Thanks for this wonderful app and updates!
Developer Marvin has done it again. We do not know how to him for his hard-work that is inspiring to a lot of users toward the peace. The masterpiece of the app is the ability to serene a raged grizzly to a calm tortoise. We used to be an Apple Pro and we used this app as a showcase app for potential customers looking at the iPad Pro. You could just see the amazement in the customers eyes when youd make the first swipe and colors would flow across the screen. Something so simple brought so much joy to so many people. This app also sold a ton of iPads so good job to the developer :)
As the title says, this app is amazing! We just have one suggestion: do you think you can add a background color option please? Other than that, this is an extremely relaxing app.

This help us so much when we feel depressed. This looks so amazing on our iPhone 12 Pro gold. This app helps us a lot and we can go for hours using it. We only use this app when our medical condition bothers us a lot.

We dont get on here to write reviews nearly as often as we should, but we had to for this one. Im sure its also wonderful for personal chillaxing, but we have been using Fluids and Sounds in a different context: As a reinforcement/brain break activity, for a variety of students grades K-5, to earn by working hard and completing tasks. They kiddos absolutely fascinated and totally enthralled with this app. We think we’ve heard the exclamations Wow! And Woah! More in the past couple of weeks than we have in the cumulative 14 years of our career combined. Usually most just play quietly during their earned down time, but with this, theres been so much Look at this!! This to both us and the other students. The older ones are asking us the name of the app; they want it at home because its theyre new JAM. One of the things we’ve loved most is that even most of our very high needs and/or low-motor-functioning Special Education students can enjoy this gem, because it requires such simple input to work. We were fortunate to grab this when it was featured free for a day on AppAdvice, and we genuinely feel guilty that we didnt have to pay for it. Its already been far and away worth what the asking price is. Seriously, if the developer sends us PayPal info, Ill donate to the cause. Our students have been THAT excited about this. Standing O for the developer from the Elementary Ed crowd!!! And if fellow educators are looking at this for a possible reinforcer, fine motor targeting activity, cause and effect training, etc. – go for it! Our littles are motivated and mesmerized.

It is 5! Its going to be love -hate relationship with the app! :-) Love – its pretty awesome! When we came across the app, we were curiously sceptic! However, once installed and figured few things about settings and things, we were blown away! This is totally cool app, and whoever likes to zone away – thats the app!!! Hate – there is only one thing you will hate about this… You will hate to put your iPhone or iPad down and not mess with it! You will hate to be attached to charging cord because you drained the battery enjoying the app… We know we wrote thats there is only one but still coming up with things… Da bottom line is – this is the best app we have downloaded in quite a few years!!! And we have about 800 apps installed on the iPhone! Marvin, we have more feedback on the app and features and will reach out via email! Dont have Facebook and never will… Cheers!!!
Really fun to play with and make the liquid flow.. Kind of reminds us of the voodoo lights pc screensaver from back in the day.
Just something to do while you sit in the doctors office or other similar situations. Very relaxing and pretty. Doesnt need to do anything else.
We love the vividness of the colors of the default settings! And even though it says fluids, it reminds us of fire/smoke. We stop by the app several times a day for short moments – the swirling of the colors as well as the sound, improve our mood. Often making us smile/grin. This may sound odd, but it all gives us the impression that it is dragon fire/smoke that reminds us how strong and magnificent we can be. Thanks for such a wonderful (and free) app.

We are very surprised by how fun it is to play around with this app. We swear we’ve been messing around with the settings and colors for a few hours now. Im going to recommend this app to some of the child life specialists at our hospital. We think it could really help relax patients who, for example, may be anxious about a medical procedure.
