This game is very simple and cute with easy mechanics and a super cute art style that entices you to collect more moths. Though there are some ads most of them are entirely optional to access temporary boosts. We dont usually leave reviews, but this game has helped us to stop scrolling as much as we used to and we think thats a really good thing.
Dunno if yall will see this but we would love to see you create a game like flutter and bird kind but make it reptiles and amphibians – or just reptiles.

We love this game! Its really relaxing and its not like a pay to win games. We love the idea of the moths and we want a ferret game like this game! Overall, this game is really cute and fun to play.
We love this game so much and take a min or two out of our day to be proud of how much Ive done in it. Anybody who likes moths should try it in our opinion. They could set a limit for how many coins you spend on area, but as long as you save up, it doesnt matter.

Hi, we love this game so much and Ive had it for a long time. The only issue that has been bothering us is that our progress wont save if we leave the game too early, and sometimes Ill even be in the game for 5 or more minutes and it still wont save our progress. The last straw was when we just left the game and came back to check and make sure our progress saved, and when we got back in the game a bunch of our fireflies to feed the toad were gone but it saved other things so it is very frustrating. We just wanna be able to play without worrying about our progress being lost.
We REMEMBER THIS GAME DURIBG WHEN we WAS A CHILD BUT WHAT ANNOYS ME IS IT TAKES ALOT OF TIME NOW BUT ITS OK we STILL LIKE IT.
We use this game to slow down our doom scrolling and take breaks before trying to do something that uses more energy.
We love this game so much. If you check in everyday and do the ant events youre likely to get more unique moths. Its just super annoying how everything cost so much and when it says we earn glow bucks most of the time it doesnt actually add up and we still am stuck with 5 but they want you to use the glow bucks to purchase or speed anything up (typical for games other than ripping you off from things you earn.) Please fix it.
Most games have a double currency bonus for the first time topping up in a price category all except this game. We guess theyre too greedy at Runaway with all their other apps that surely profit as well that they cant enable a double currency bonus for each individual price pack. So we spent $1.99 on Glowbucks thinking we could get the bonus for each tier nope! Ive spent a lot in other games before so we know how these price structures are usually set up, and this is just incredibly odd. We would spend more if we were getting any value for it.

We absolutely love the game! But we do have a few problems with the game. If we dont stay in the game for a few minutes all of our progress goes away. Its annoying when we finish an ant event, and go back in later to not see the moth we got. We also cant watch any videos after watching one for the first time. Ive tried logging out and back in but it didnt fix anything. Other than that we love that game its just a bit irritating.
Love this game!! Our only issue has been the saved progress. Sometimes when we leave the game it doesnt save our progress and so during the ant events we cant get close to the final prize because it doesnt save when we plant the mushrooms. We can stay idle for 5 minutes and it still wont save, Im not sure what to do for that.
We LOVE this game. Its so calming & fun to collect & make new moths as well as discover other creatures. The only reason why we gave a 4 star is because we dont understand how our full level moths are only giving us like 2 coins every 7 minutes, but the little bugs that show up every 5 seconds give us 11 coins a lot of the time. It makes no sense. At that point, forget the moths let us start collecting the bugs bc they sure know how to work & Im trying to making some money here. Anyways, we just think the moths should be making you a lot more than the bugs especially if youve completely leveled them up.

We used to love this game but once you hit a certain progress point, its like hitting a wall. You cannot collect anymore moths because there is no more expansion, you cant open new flower collections and have to wait to collect moth types in the events, and the events themselves have the most repetitive plants for the forest. So frustrating.
This game is so relaxing and the music is beautiful but we lost all our beautiful moths due to prolonged absence and we had not been on for three months.
This game is so fun. We are a bug lover and this is the game that we are always playing. We love all there other games too. We would recommend so many people.
We found this game randomly through an ad and we hooked into this right away. We love the moths colors and designs. Also the background music is so chill, we wish to have more different sounds (like the Bird Kind game, it has the rain sound and effect sometimes).

The moths are all very cute the game is really relaxing. We love moths irl and this game is perfect for us.
We started to get this app in August 2024. We knew a lot of moths from June and July 2024 so we are a bit of an expert at entomology for most insects. We remember rescuing a polyphemus moth cocoon at recess. We named the pupa inside Polyphemus. Since the cocoon was small and it was a cocoon of a polyphemus moth, we knew it would be a male. And when it came out on 5/11/2025, it was a male! Us and our sister was not scared to touch him. We havent had this app in months! Maybe we should get it again. We REALLY love moths more than butterflies because of their cute face! This app is also excellent for the life cycle of moths virtually and pretty quickly. Got it again after 10 months of not using the app. And now we are having an excellent experience with these amazing and adorable moths. So instead of looking at bug faces on the browser all day, we should play this brilliant game.

This game is honestly great, if youre looking for something simple and extremely easy to play. This is definitely the game for you. It is so relaxing and being able to collect, learn, and see all the moths in the game is honestly amazing. We definitely recommend this.
We like this game alot but our daily deals never seem to refresh which is really frustrating because thats where most good flowers come from. Sometimes they last 3 days. Other than that we wish there was more variation in the moths colors. As an avid hater of yellow, red, and orange its kind of sad when every moth seems to follow this color scheme besides every like 8th moth we unlock. Really not a big deal its just a personal preference lol.
This app would be a great one for just relaxing and raising moths. Our only problem is the ant events. You get multiple ant events a month, but unless youre glued to your phone 24 hours a day for the few days it runs at a time, you will never attain the final prize. Trying to keep up with it ends up making the game weirdly stressful.
So we downloaded it,it took almost a full day to download but we asoumed it was an error on our part so thats okay but when we went to open it we were in for about 3 seconds before it kicked us out. So please help we dont know what to do.
We dont even remember how we found this game but honestly have been playing for years now off and on and it has never let us down. Every couple months we remember we have this game and its so awesome; everything is lovely and seems to be well put together. The only reason its not 5 stars is because expanding your forest is too expensive!!! Maybe im just broke in the game, but the price going up each time you take away a leaf is too much. Cant escape inflation even in the moth game bruh anyways other than that we love it never get rid of this game pls.

Ive been off and on playing this game for years. We remember our first event with the game was the Cupids set, and we had so much fun with it. This game is a great homage to all the moths in the world, whether they be Brown and unflattering, or dazzling with blues greens and purples. Its truly a great way to get both children and adults into the wonders of insects. However, after coming back to the game recently, we had our fun for a bit! Everything was great, we were unlocking new sets, playing the ant events, waiting for the moon cycles. Even spent money now that Im an adult and have our own to support a game that Ive enjoyed since a kid! But then it just kept being the same thing. . . Over and over again. Ant event, then half-priced bees. Ant event, half priced pollen flowers. Ant event, half priced bees. The ant events are nice, they allow us to regain past moths that we or others have missed, however Im really struggling to stay interested in the game now, as its the same thing, different moth every time. We know that they said the wisp events and the firefly events are being retired temporarily, but it has been 4 years of the same thing, over and over again. We know theres only a certain amount of moths one can even add to the game, because theres only a certain amount discovered that dont look exactly the same as every other haha! However, we really hope that something changes soon, as its starting to feel like this game is dying, and being put on the backburner to sizzle out.
We had this game on our old phone and wanted to move our data onto this phone. We keep getting error 33 over and over. All our progress and streaks have been lost to this. For a supposed relaxing game Im quite stressed.
The game is fun but its stacked so that you have to use real money to get anywhere. Every any event that we get close to completing- we start magically getting spore packs that only have the lowest level mushroom. So no matter what Im never able to complete an event in time. Really sad.
We have played this game for almost 2 decades at this point. We cant remember if the moth or butterfly version came out first but we do remember playing it on an at home computer that looked way too similar to a decepticon on Facebook when the pfps were still square. Anyway, since then the game hasnt changed much as far as gameplay goes, lots has changed beyond that, wonderful game. We will continue to play probably forever.

One of our absolute favorite games. We love the whole series, Flutter, Starlight, and the bird one. They're all amazing and different enough to not feel repetitive.
This game has been vital to our goal of improving our mental health. Ive been playing for over a year now and the play style is perfect for us to help schedule time for ourselves to check in on something that brightens our life. Theres nothing like stepping away a few times a day to look at all the beautiful moth art in the game, to feel like Im taking care of them while not having the actual responsibility of keeping them alive or anything like that. Ive also taken to looking up and researching each new moth we get in game and have continued learning a small amount almost every day because of it. We also adore that you can make significant progress in the game by watching ads but that they arent necessary to actually continue playing and collecting these beautiful fluttery moths. We love sharing the fun facts you unlock with each moth with our friends and they also love hearing them! The development team is also absolutely fantastic; the two times Ive had issues with the game (one on our end due to connectivity issues) Ive been able to get in touch with a team member to sort it all out. To top it off, their discord community is absolutely lovely and full of fun and interesting people. Im so grateful to have this game available to us and that its able to provide us with a positive part of our day, every day, every time. Thank you, team runaway.
