Community Insight:

Hard to say what we think of the game when we get 30-second ads we cant opt out of.

Paid for ad-free play and we have a constant banner in the upper left hand corner. Annoying.

We really liked all these games until we got to this one. Ads. Ads that, every time they play, flip our play area upside down and then to portrait view. This won't work so we have to exit and reenter the game to continue. The ads play when accessing the menu leaving gameplay for any reason. This is so distracting that we haven't been able to get into the game enough to have an opinion of the play — just how the ads play. We'd rather pay for a game than have to deal with this. And while these games are worth the money, they aren't worth aggravation.

Just started this game and, honestly, after playing Puppeteer and Autumn, Im very reluctant to spend $5.99 to get rid of these ridiculous ads for a game as short as those two were. We would definitely pay $2 for these, but not $6. The ads ruin the tone of the game. Please find another solution that costs less than $5.99. You have a great game series on your hands and this will deter people, but we do not want that to happen! We want people to notice this series and try it out. But the ads are an issue. Were rooting for you.

We love this series but we always pay for ad free yet this game has an ad banner that is at the top of the game. Very distracting. We wont pay for ad free on these games any longer if they still continue to show ads while trying to play the game. Please fix this.

Honestly we understand game devs need to do things to generate some income from the games they make and Im all for that but it would be great to play the game without constant 30 second ads in the middle of gameplay. Its one thing to have hints behind ads which we understand but we dont think Ive ever played an escape game that interrupted its own game to make us watch a 30 second ad (its not a pop up we have to sit and wait to continue what would have been a very unique and atmospheric horror experience that has now been shattered). If the game is that desperate to generate revenue Id literally rather pay to be able to play than be bombarded with ads in an attempt to coerce us to pay to get rid of ads or whatever because it leaves a bad taste in our mouth for both this game and the entire forgotten hill series (which is a shame because it seems interesting and well done).

The ads were obnoxious so we paid for the game. We dont mind paying devs for good games. But the ads only disappeared for about sixty seconds after the Congratulations, you will no longer see ads message. Yet here we are looking at the obnoxious ads. How do we get a refund.

We had a very hard time trying to play the game and watching the walkthrough was complicated. Im one place it shows a hand then the numbers but then where you have to plug them in there is no rhyme or reason to us. Very hard to play.

We've played a number of the Forgotten Hill games, but this is broken. Some objects can't be picked up, and the game freezes frequently. We paid for ad removal and hints but still have ads. Very dissapointing.

Paid for no ads. Still has ads in the upper left corner.

Hello! We just started playing this game a few days ago and its already so much fun.

When we get to the part where you have to turn the disks to the eye, mouse, sun, fly, and scalpel the disk with the medical tools disappears and im not able to beat it. We just watched the walkthrough to see what happens. Overall, we love forgotten hill and ive played almost all of the games.

So we would rate this a five but when we got to the Alien guy, we gave him all the marbles he wanted but as soon as we did that he all he said was thank you and wouldnt move. So we pressed him again and he said give us all the marbles we want, like bro we already gave him all the marbles he wanted.

This game was very good. We really enjoyed the puzzles, and the riddles. A few of them where difficult but all where solvable. There were few ads, which we were a huge fan of, it kept the horror like atmosphere in place through almost the whole game.

Love this game series! Look forward to more by the creator.

We're replaying this series and loving them even more than the first time! These are great games! If you like good quality escape games these are wonderful. They're not too hard… Everything you need is there if you look closely enough… But they're still challenging…. With great, creepy graphics. Lots of fun. Thanks, Manuela! More please.

Keep them coming! Cant wait for #5! Great job, Manuela! We paid for No Ads, because you guys deserve being paid for such a great job! (PS: we encourage all who play these to put up the $1.99. Not a lot of money for several hours of fun!).

It was a great game and truly had some Rusty Lake vibes! The only problem we had was the accessibility to certain items! It could be just our phone or the game itself! There were certain objects that we knew were accessible, via seeing walkthroughs, but were not after multiple tries! Other than that, great game! We love the art and plot line! It keeps you on your toes! Truly a great and creepy game.

The sounds keeps leaving after an add pops up.

Im stuck on the 1st floor because every time we get into the elevator to go up, an ad plays and the game is frozen… Great game. Love the idea. Wish we could finish it.

We have iPad Pro. Keeps crashing, waste of time. Too bad, had potential.

We've played all three, so far this is slightly harder, but still awesome! We hope another comes out soon.

As always, the Forgotten Hill games are fun, quirky, and slightly disturbing.

Too many ads. Would you consider offering a 99cent version without ads? The ads ruin it for us.
