-Fixed some typos in English, German and Chinese texts and made some slight changes in Birds Language Manual and Forgotten Flavor instructions to make them more clear.
-Fixed an issue in Chapter 3 that allowed to interact with cards while reading the clue paper in the Insect Race puzzle
-Fixed an issue that could reset music volume when going in Chapter 1 from main screen

Just finished the 4th chapter. Like the previous chapters, we enjoy all the puzzles and stories from end to end! The excellence can be explained by how much we regretted to watch the walkthrough to get some hint for a puzzle we really hope we didnt open the YouTube and could instead sit for another 30 mins, should be able to figure out on our own! Found a few bugs in chapter 4 though – after finishing the surgery for the 2nd patient (the kid) then close the app (particularly, just right after the brother points the sun), the kid would reappear after we reopened the app. Secondly, after handing the fairy tale book to the kid, the book will then be in the surgery room, which is fine, but if you open the book at the surgery room, there is no way to close the book.
We loved forgotten hill dissolution, first steps and mementos. We were excited when we saw that wardrobe was out. But this game is honestly boring. There is very little horror, the stories are not engaging, and most infuriating, the puzzles make no sense without looking at a hint which you have to watch an add for. And then the first hint is so obvious that you have to watch another at to get an explanation of how to do the puzzle. Its almost as if they are purposefully making the puzzles vague so that you pay to unlock hints. Honestly, we would not buy this again. We didnt even care to finish it because it was so boring.
This game and Forgotten Hill Tales have an improved handle on environmental storytelling- some of the older games felt a big clunky regarding lore but Wardrobe and Tales seem to be where the franchise found its footing.
Amazing and cool game, but our only problem is we couldn't finish because it wasn't registering our symbols on the chalkboard. We even looked up the walkthrough to see if we were drawing the right symbol ,we were, and it still didn't work.
For some reason our book of bird calls stops at the golden bird. We were bewildered on what we were supposed to do and had to look up the solution for the horn raven. We only realized that we didnt have those pages in the book. Please fix this. Its impossible to solve otherwise.
Downloaded game. Paid for ad delete and hints. No hints. After 5 minutes, deleted game. Puzzles have nothing to do with story, at least from what we could see.
Ive never played a game with longer and more intrusive ads than FHTW. We even paid the 1.99 to go ad free but it is still playing ads that play way too long. We have to keep closing and restarting the game.
Ive played a majority of their games and we just love them! Theyre always so unique and fun filled. Minor freezing after completing puzzles during this one but that didnt stop us from enjoying the game! Amazing job to the developers.
These guys can do no wrong when it comes to story telling. Super creepy stuff in these games. Would love to see it expanded to other mediums. On top of the great stories, the puzzles are challenging and unique. Escape & point/click games always seem to use the same recycled puzzles. We feel like Ive seen it all. Then we play Forgotten Hill and it has all these new creative puzzle concepts. Hope to see more soon.
Two stars for showing a little potential at first, but after the first ad popped, there was no way to get back to the game. Uninstalled.
We were so excited to see the release of their latest puzzle! But then we binge-puzzled and finished it in 3 days next time Ive got to pace ourselves to make it last longer! As creepy and weird and morbid as these puzzles are, theyre exceptional quality. There is nothing else in the App Store that compares! Already looking forward to the next release.

Update: Two Sister chapter is in our opinion the best! Some of the most fun and challenging logic puzzles Ive done in a long time. Also the bird sound and spice jar mechanisms are very unique. Love it! Thank you developers, amazing game as always! Love the story and the atmosphere. Minor bug: game freezes after completing certain actions and had to be restarted.
Ive played all of the forgotten hill games, and theyre all so much fun and well worth the time. Theyre difficult enough to have you get stuck for a little while every now and then, but at the same time very doable with some time and effort. The puzzles themselves are very creative, and Im constantly amazed by how the developers have been able to come up with so much new material in the types of puzzles they create. The effort that went into these games really shows, and we were frankly shocked that forgotten hill isnt as well known as we thought it would be. The 2nd wardrobe (the twins) game they just released was one of the most creative ones Ive seen from them, which says a lot because theyre all so great. Thank you for creating great content.
Ok sooo, Ive played your games for a while. Like alll the way back at the beginning of our school year. And tbh it was really comforting. We were going through a rough time at home and at school. And when we were using our school computer our eyes came across your games. Ive played most of your games! We love them. The nurse one was hard though, it took us forever to beat BUT, Ive decided to jump back in for more action! Cant wait for new releases.

So we paid the full price of $3.99 for no ads, and hints. But nowhere is there a button for hints! We hadnt seen an ad yet even before we paid. We love your games, have paid for all of them to support an indie gamer. But when we pay and get nothing in return, then we get mad.
The game is very interesting and fun but whenever an ad pops up, the screen only showed 1/4 of the game so we have to exit out every time an ad comes.
Wasnt going to pay to have adds removed. Game was ok. But it was short. About every 4-5 minutes adds would pop up. Very annoying. Took around an hour to play. Good concept but adds ruined it for us.
Ive run into the bug where the ad plays it shifts back with black space and the game becomes unplayable. Ive had to close app far too many times. Usually Im down for paying for the game but not until its fixed.
We paid for no ads and they keep appearing. They take over our iPad and its like youre stealing our property, so fix it please.
In addition to the bug where the orientation flips after an ad, this game also crashed twice and we had to reset our phone as we wasnt even able to turn it off or exit the game after it crashed. Seems like a fun escape game, its a shame that these bugs make it difficult to play.
How many of us have to mention the glitch before you fix the GLITCH.
Ive loved all the Forgotten Hill games up to now but this one is so frustrating. We paid to get rid of ads but still get them and in addition, keep lose sound on the game. We deleted and restored three times. Guess Ill try again after a few weeks and hope the glitches get fixed.
We just downloaded this as we loved all the other Forgotten Hill games. But it crashes when u try to open the app. We tried deleting and re-downloading the app but it still crashes and wont open. Please help.
Havent gotten far. At all. Every time a commercial plays and the game comes back up, its frozen. Have to close out and start again. Real shame. Will have to delete.
We paid for no ads & hints but when we click on the light bulb for a hint, nothing happens. Total scam. UPDATE: Developer, your response doesnt address our issue with the hints not working. Wish we could give 0 stars since you dont care enough to thoroughly read reviews.
We paid $1.99 to remove ads, but it was so short we really didnt need to. Regardless, a good little game following in the heels of its morbid predecessors! Challenging and fun. Not sure if there was a help function as we were able to solve all facets of the game.
