We love this game. We hate when it ended.
This game is absolutely beautiful! The art is stunning. It very much reminds us of an anime movie where you can affect the ending. It really is a choose your own adventure game. The game is very story based, so if this doesnt appeal to you, it isnt your thing, but if it does, it is so worth the money. It isnt the most difficult game and there are probably 5-6 jumps that may be classified as tricky but not difficult, only a few are timing based. You cant die or take damage, so if that concerns you, dont be scared. This is a very enjoyable game, just relax and have fun. We took our time and made it through in a little under 11 hours, we didnt rush it. We will probably play through a second time to see a different story and pick up more rewards, but dont feel obligated.
We just got the game and Im more then impressed. The story and everything is actually so amazing.
A very well flushed out game with an even better story. We were stunned in the beginning with both the performance and visuals and stayed for the story and replay ability! Definitely worth the buy.
We downloaded this and was immediately sold while playing the free trial and knew we had to buy the full game. We had so much fun playing this. The storyline is unique. You really go on an adventure in this game and also the voice acting and graphics are amazing! Our only issue were the controls but it is mobile so we cant complain. We still really enjoyed it a lot and played for hours. We wish it was longer we had so much fun Thank you for such a great game.
To start offThis game is amazing but sometimes its like you cant really know what to do so when youre playing the game you can use her wings to jump over the boxes but then you have to find your thing to get over the so then you try to find it but you get lost so you have to use your wings to get back to start and then you dont know what to do from there but other than that its great so yeah thanks for up.

This game is totally worth paying for. Thank you for making it a one time payment and for making it such a long and intriguing game. We only had to seek help with the walkthrough once but it was still challenging. Great acting and characters we cared about. Wish there could be more from main characters in a follow up. If that is possible.

We are coming back to this game to leave a review because it keeps coming to mind. We have played this game multiple times ever since the release to try different approaches and just to re-live the story. We absolutely adore this game. The concept is so cool, the characters are wonderful, and the art and design is just gorgeous. We are planning to replay it yet again just to enjoy the story once more now that its been long enough. If you are looking for a great puzzle adventure game with beautiful atmosphere, we cannot recommend this game ENOUGH. We always tell our friends to check it out and they have all loved it too. 10/10.

When we first got the game we didnt know what to expect. The story and art reminded us of studio Ghibli with its simple tale and charming characters. When you play, it really feels like you’re a part of Annes journey through the interesting and vast world of the forgotlings while your choices alter the story in unique ways. We think this one of the best games we’ve ever played in a long while. For us, it left us wanting more so we hope that in the future theyll make a sequel to this awesome and fantastical story!
Hey we just wanted to tell you about this. Its amazing the graphics are great the creative things inside of its is great its just great the exceptions are great just everything . So thats why this game is a great game.

We love this game! The art is beautiful and the animation is outstanding! We’ve seen the whole game played on YouTube but have never played myself, so when we saw this we were so excited to get to play! So your probably wondering why we gave only 4 stars then. Well, like we said, we were SO excited to play the game on our phone, and then we got past Wade the shoe, and.. It cuts off. We have to pay 7$ to play on. This GREATLY disappointed us. We cant pay 7$ just for a game, no matter how amazing it is. Thats too much money for a game we might finish in just two weeks or so. This makes us very disappointed that we cant play this game we would love to play so much! What we were able to play was amazing, so good work developers! Its sad we wont be able to play the whole game, at least not anytime soon. Thx for reading!
… If the game controls are intrusive and annoying. Why would you put the joystick on the left, only? Since we’re right handed (like the majority of humans), using the iPad, our hand/wrist cover half the screen. There was no option to change that. Then when we did use the joystick, the character kept running past where we wanted. The whole "?" thing seems unnecessary – why not just have a tap control to see various points of interest? We didn’t even last two minutes before deleting. We’ve played hundreds of point n click adventure games. Nothing will get us to delete faster than cumbersome controls. Sorry.
Hello, we believe the game is good, and the experience to play it is very pleasant, however, there is only one problem. There is no sound. We started the game, eager for the cutscenes to play, however, much to our dissapointment, there was no sound. We were about to delete the game before we realized that there was a Master volume and Music Volume slider, so we believe that there was meant to be sound, but in one of the updates, either the app, or the ios version, tampered with the volume that can be heard, and will not allow us to hear what we are playing. For the developers: Please fix this problem, we are eager to play and wish to have this fixed, this will remain on our phone, but we wish for an update until we purchase the full game. Thank you!
We enjoyed the short preview of this game. Hopefully it will go on sale on Black Friday because $7 is too much to pay.
Its a good game, however there is a bit of a stopper puzzle that caused us to simply delete the game after two days of frustration. It was towards the end, and you had to get these creatures into the light, onto a pressure plate, while having the mannequin forgotling move a platform back and forth. Even after looking on youtube, the solution was too vague and so we never got to finish. Up until that point we were enjoying the game. We will say that even though we didnt finish, we watched the endings and am disappointed that those two outcomes were the only ones afforded to Anne. She didnt deserve either.
This game is interesting and kinda fun, but its often overshadowed by all the bugs. The controls are a bit sticky and hard to use. Often if we step away from the game, our progress isnt saved and we have to do sections all over again (especially annoying when you cant skip through the conversations), and sometimes sections disappear from the diary. Also one time the game crashed and would not correct no matter how many times we quit the app and reopened, so we had to uninstall and reinstall. We’ve barely gotten past the crane and already had all these issues. Way too many problems for the price imo.
We want to like this game. The storyline is interesting. The use of energy anima seems fun. But its so hard to see things in this game. Walkways, important items, etc, are all as prominent as the background. Also if you miss something someone says, the journal isnt always helpful. It was a breeze until the moment you pay. Since then, its been grueling. And now we’re stuck.
The game is good, but one thing, where is his Chinese? We had Chinese when we played a few years ago, but today we want to download it again and recall it, only to find that there is no Chinese.
Idk if its set up for a different platform, but on IOS this game lags too much for there to be timed puzzles. Two days we tried on the train puzzle, and it literally would not move Anne until it had been too long and the brakes needed to be redone before we could do them all. She wouldnt let go of the handle, or the action was too long idk but 6.99 for a game we cant play? Not for us. The graphics are wonderful and the story seemed incredibly interesting but the lag of the action made it near impossible to complete a timed puzzle. We dont think we should have to have another person try it (and also fail) to see if it was just us (it seems not he had the issue too). We paid, we thought we were gonna get the full experience. Cant even pass the train puzzle tho.
For us a waist of money.. We never saw that you have to do the circle walking for her.. We hate those.! All we can do is make her run back and forth if we could figure out to get our money back, we would surely ask for it. Ivegot a disability that we cant do those sort of games.

This is such a fantastic game. It took us about 8 hours and 47 minutes to complete it, and we enjoyed every second. We loved the animations and voices. The storyline was perfect. Everything about this was beautiful.

We Just Hope That Youll Make A Second Game From This, we Dont Want To Be Kept From That Cliffhanger, Like How On our First Decision we Made Was Crystalizing Anne, There Was Only White, But we Want To Know What Exactly Happened To Her, And our Second Choice Was To Go Home With Bonku, And All we Got Was His Workshop, And Her Floating Down And Under The Bridge, Which Are Both Extremely Great Cliffhangers. We Just Hope That You Didnt Give Up On The Second Project And That It Continues To Grow On, we Joined Your Discord But we Just Really Hope That This Review Inspired You To Keep Going. No Matter What.
Such a beautiful game! The idea of having inanimate objects interact with you is so fun! Well written and elegantly executed with realistically fantastical animation.
We love this game the story was great gameplay had a few kinks but we overlooked it as its hard to find any good storyline games these days. We only wish there was more. We want more of Anne and this style of game. More stories and more gameplay!

We havent written a review yet of an app or a game, but this one was simply awe inspiring with the character development, complexity of each characters personality not to mention the gorgeous cinematic graphics. The story pulls you in like a whirlpool in the middle of the ocean and you cant wait to find out the next development. There is laughter, anger, suspense, joy and sadness. The rarity of having full and complete voice acting is also a forgotten art that simply adds so much more to immersion and we applaud the effort. We cant remember thoroughly enjoying a game like this in a very long time. All we can say we hope to see a prequel, sequel or something similar in the future and we will gladly again delve into the adventure and will eagerly await that day.
Forgotten Anne is a fantastic game with a riveting story. We downloaded it quite a while ago when it still cost money. We think about seven dollars and it was well worth that. Now we see that on the AppStore its free with in app purchases. We still have it on our phone and have full access but if we were to delete and redownload it, would we be prompted to pay for full access again?
This is the best game we have ever played in our entire life. We know this sounds a little exaggerated, but Im not. It has great detail and art, and breathtaking soundtrack that can make you feel all kinds of emotions, the choices make you have yo brainstorm and think very wildly, and we love that it also has voice acting and puzzles! Its basically in our mind the games machinarium, monument valley, and a anime movie with a complex storyline and voice acting mixed all together. And some parts made us really emotional, and Im not an emotional person at all! Live this masterpiece, best game ever.
So we got bored and decided to download this game it looked good so we tried it out and once we finished the game not the whole entire thing we were sad we love this game absolutely love it! But it cost so much and Im 9 and we do have money but like we dont have our card yet or our account so Im super sad about that because this game is amazing !

Okay first impression: super intrigued, the cut scenes and, not sure what word to use but the animation(?) is seriously beautiful. We were a bit bummed by how short the free trial was, but it was appropriate, not a super big bummer like ooh find out whats next of this cliffhanger for $4.99!! It was just not knowing what to expect and being curious was all, nothing super dramatic, to us at least. The game is entertaining and its not a super easy game, we think anyone could play it but there are definitely some parts that took us awhile to get through. Overall, guys, its really worth it. If you dont usually buy games, ask your parents to get this one for you, or save up money to buy it for yourself, we mean whatever the case is, it is worth it. We’ve played through till the end and we want to play it again because as you go through there seem to be a lot of different outcomes of whatever, so its not necessarily a one time play. This is a really long review but we really appreciate this game and we think anyone who is genuinely curious and wanting this game should get it, its worth it.

This game was stunning, visually and through the conversations. Personally, we went the pacifist route, and it was just a lovely experience seeing all the results from our choices, and knowing how many different options there are. Honestly, we found myself in tears at the end. Truly a remarkable job, developers! Thank you for taking the time to essentially make a whole movie that we could navigate myself.
