Every effort has been made to create a beautiful, sumptuous theme and a perfect user experience, complete with delightful sound effects. Forty Thieves Solitaire is a unique and rare game with similarities to the popular Freecell. Your goal is to move all the cards to the 8 foundation piles from Ace to King. It uses 2 decks so that the rules state that only one card may be moved at a time. In the play area cards can only be moved to empty columns or in descending order by suit. Naturally, the game has a well-made tutorial to teach you anything you might need to know.

We are so glad that you did an update on this game. The one click is definitely an improvement. We’re not great with card games but we love to play them. We’ve only gotten to Round 3. But we keep trying. Thank you.
We liked the previous version before the update. But we like the clarity of the numbers on cards in new version. The old ones were hard to read, (especially on a cell phone).
We are addicted to this game, even though winning is almost impossible! But we really love this new version! Not having to double click each card is a nice change. Someone mentioned that being asked to pay $.99 so often was like a scam! It took us quite a while to realize that the $.99 was to pay for getting to reuse the discard pile. One last thought that someone else pointed out: it’s hard to play right handed!
But wish you didn’t have to buy re-deals at .99 each.
The new version doesn’t have the hard version! We like the one-click to move cards but the "buy now" deck is driving us crazy, so we are going to delete this game.
Needs wild cards or the chance to reshuffle dis card pile at least once after u complete the First round! Otherwise it doesn’t keep our interest due to it not being any fun if u want ppl to pay u gotta give more of an incentive to want to buy the game take to much away then u don’t get the full fun concept….

This is a really fun game that we enjoy playing. It would be 5 stars if it didn’t cost .99 to reuse the deck. The game is almost impossible to win on a single deal. We feel like you should get two times through the deck for free and then pay if you want more. If not for free, then at least included as an upgrade when you pay to remove ads.
This was the game we played the most on both our iPhone and our iPad. Then we got this update. Now we don’t care for it. We liked the way the game played, now it plays a bit different. We do like the one click, but that’s it. We do NOT like anything about the update. We really wish we could revert back to our older version. Why does this always seem to happen. We want our old version back.
We used to play this game all the time. Not anymore. The update is awful. One-click is great. Everything else is crummy. The cards look different, we can’t get rid of the top banner even in airplane mode. Since we didn’t back up this app, we can’t revert to the previous version. We will go looking for a similar card game elsewhere and delete this game. Too bad–it was fun.
Not only is the scam on the bottom of the pile to ‘buy’ a redeal incredibly irritating it is also irresponsible and short sighted. We don’t play it much anymore and will delete it when we find an alternative that we like. Also changed the win odd to force more losses and therefore more 99 cents potentials. One click is great but the buy at the end of the pile is a deal breaker.
Received a refresh on this game and now they attempted to charge $.99 every other game played. Deleted the app. It’s a scam.
At first, we did not like this game. We deleted it and later downloaded it again. Finally, we have learned out to win. We like we have won maybe 3 times. We are liking the game more now. It is a challenge.
Good game, but more instruction needed on how to win; strategies, hints, etc. Also, bonus points and prizes would also be helpful.

Too hard to win so we lose interest. Out of say, 100 games, we’ve won 1 time.

We were playing the original and one day hit more games. SO GLAD we DID!!! Not much different between the two except this one is purple and has cuter effects. Easy to play but frustrating . We always want to win but that isnt always an option. Love this game!
Gouging us $0.99 to turn over the discard pile, every game, is a rip off! We can see paying $0.99 once for all future games but not every game. We were surprised after paying once that we were expected to pay again in the next game. There are lots of card games that don’t have a per-game fee that are just as entertaining. Disappointing.
This game is addictive. If you want to score high it will cost at least $1 per hand!

We love the new board with the Aces added. Makes the game more balanced.
Something changed. The game used to save Easy Mode setting. Now if you win a hand and then continue to next hand, it disconnects from Easy Mode. Not fun.
Why cant the aces be already played when starting play?

Love this game! However after most recent update it will not stay in easy mode- as soon as we win a game and go to play next game, it switches to difficult mode. We do not play for challenges we play for fun and we like the easy mode. No where can we find an option for contacting help to please fix this glitch. Its very annoying! Deleted the game reinstalled it restarted our phone – same issue! Each new game it defaults to difficult- when originally it was set to automatically default to easy! Very disappointing… Otherwise this is one of our favorite games simple fun good music and background sounds, as well as colorful and fun to play. Please fix this glitch!! Thank you, A. Player.
Please return this game to the previous format. We dont expect to win every game but we havent won any since the format change. Why??
We’ve been playing this for a very long time: we like playing it in Easy Mode because we like the simplicity of it. All of a sudden, we now have to go into the settings every game. We do not like that the game decides how we want to play. We have cleared our game history thinking that because we have played so long we have bumped myself into the next level but it hasnt helped. Is there a way to fix this or do we need to find a new game?
Our favorite game. Much more challenging than regular solitaire. We play it every day.
El juego esta bueno, pero hasta la persona mas lista le es imposible terminarlo, porque no te deja opciones de movimiento, no te permite mover un grupo de cartas de un lado a otro, o te permite volver a coger. Artas de la parte superior izquierda, no te permite bajar cartas del lado superior derecho para hacer movimientos para lograr terminar el juego, es decir las posibilidades son tan pocas que el juego lo terminas en pocos minutos y es por eso que se vuelve aburrido.
How do you start a new game when you lose one?
Whats the highest level anyone has made on here?? We’ve made level 6 but only once, level 5 we believe 4 or 5 times, level 4 maybe about 10 or 11 times.
Fun and challenging. We like the fact that you can undo and redo your moves!
