Not overly complicated which actually adds to its charm and game value. Perfect for its genre.
We first found this game when the Ouya was new, and from the point of view of someone who can never find a good mobile game to play, we’ve bought this on at least 3 different platforms, and should it eventually reach console, Ill most likely buy it there too. We dont know what it is about this game that is so addicting, but the 70s score-centered type of gameplay, combined with the high speeds youd only experience drifting the touges of Mt. Akina, while still keeping the aesthetic of the game very simple yet very informative of what is happening around you… Its something we have yet to experience through any medium. This game is a blessing, yet a curse – a reminder of what no other game has ever strived to achieve and probably never will again.
The very simplistic art style combined with the relaxing music adds an element thats essential to indie runner games. Very nice.
It’s a very addictive game its hard, we have to play the same level for to many time in order to complete it. And thats what we like about it.
Amazing game, we have never played anything like this. It looks so much different from anything Iv seen and its a lot of fun to play. Wish it had more levels but thats the only complaint we have. 5/5!
So we literally just got this game to help out with our insomnia based off the simplicity of the design and animation type. So far we love it and the music is super relaxing, you can also play your own if you prefer that. The color hack we used was simple and it doesnt require what your phone doesnt already have. We use this also just to change the mood of our phone. Lol add smart contrast and reduce white point and youll have a dope looking color scheme for all Apple stock apps. For this game Go to settings>general>accessibility>display accommodations[turn it on]>color filters>turn the intensity up> then change the hue to whatever color options you like. Once thats done go back to the game and the white lines will now be filled with the hue that you chose for your phone. Quick tip: Enable accessibility shortcuts and triple tapping will make this so much faster to turn on and off once the hue is set. Hope you guys enjoy this game as much as we do! We almost never download games but got lucky on this one! Definitely worth a few bucks.
We’re not usually into games but this one is beautifully designed.
Great game and we have bought the game now twice. Since the other version we bought is on a console that doesnt exist anymore we want a Apple TV version so we can play on our TV as well.
We installed the game earlier today and by golly is it fun. Us being a fan of games like Super Hexagon, WaveWave, and Boson X, this game is almost a dream come true! One thing that really bugs us, however, is that the timer and score at the bottom of the screen are hidden if you use your right hand to play! If the devs could put an option to swap the score and timers to the left side, that would make this game even more awesome than it is.
Fun and Visually Stunning, however the lack of levels can make this game become rather boring once completed. We encourage the developers of this great game to make more levels. Maybe even perhaps a music mode that goes with music?
At some points during game play the games music will stop. Please fix this.

Almost as primitive as the retro 8 bit games but never as popular – this vector graphics style game is fun enough, but it’s no asteroids…
The description really gave us high expectations of the game. Its really not worth the money. Maybe Im used to different controls. Its still a pretty cool game, but we definitely wouldnt spend money on it. The controls are hard(didnt play much, but if you like simple controls like us you wouldnt like it) and the description really made it sound amazing. We’ve had other games like this, FOR FREE, except they werent first person and the controls are easy.
Looks good but each board designed for you to die at a point, apparently. Not worth paying for.
The endless mode is the only one we tried but it totally blows.
The first person gameplay is what makes this game stand out from any other endless runner. We like the fact that there is an option to play with 2 people, but not online. Adding an online multiplayer option would make the game that much better. Overall pretty good game but not worth original price.
It’s a very stylized black and white endless runner. If that’s your thing, this is your game. For us, boring and uninspired gaming with decent visuals and music doesn’t cut it. Deleted after ten minutes of trying to like it. Glad it was on sale.

This game is so fun to play the graphics are brilliant and it is a great game for us to play on long boring flights.
Let’s start off by saying, this game looks phenomenal! We have played temple run and stuff like that before but they never felt super rewarding because it was just the same thing over and over again. But Fotonica, all the levels look amazing and it makes you feel accomplished when you complete a level. Speaking of the levels, they are not easy, but not challenging. We say that because, if you are a casual gamer like us it won’t drive you insane trying to beat the level. But if you don’t pay attention to the jumps (like us cause we love how the levels look) then it won’t be a walk in the park. We don’t want to make it seem like this is the best art work we have ever seen for a game, but it is just how the back ground changes and makes you eyes wander all over the screen. It’s just an amazing game if you like temple run but hate the repetitiveness and want something were to look up(not trying to say temple run is bad, it’s just our opinion)
Lovely graphics and beautiful accompanying musical score, long shelf-life with arcade levels and endless modes, perfect both for serious gaming experience &or for killing time in a waiting area – a perfect mobile game, in a time when we’re producing fewer than usual at best.

We got this way back when it was only a buck the reason we got it that and it was no IAPs so we guess that these days makes it above average on principle alone pay once and play never worry about $ again that’s how our generation was raised we bought a game and actually owned the full content and the most popular games either got sequels and in rare cases expansion packs. So 4stars if you like runners you should enjoy this its not that temple run clone either it’s a new IP so to speak as idk anything else like it a first person runner just wished it were more parkour based instead of hard to judge jump range to speed stuff I’d rather have wall runs and pauses or like swing on a poll like they do in Olympics that’d be great in updates. Then maybe I’d rate it 5star as it’d be like the real mirror edge of iOS only wireframe and no guys shooting at you. Add some parkour moves and stunts and it’s got potential to become the 5star but as is it’s too hyped up and we fell for that so its not for everyone just maybe actually go watch some gameplay reviews on YouTube or twitch or something if anyone streams this then decide whether it’s for you cuz we didn’t enjoy it nearly as much most likely due to the hype got our hopes set too high ergo we were let down as it didn’t match its hype. It’s not bad by any means but it’s still something that we ended up playing a few hours less than 10 for sure maybe like 5 collective and deleted for space it is large for what it is. Oh also it’s extremely difficult very very hard game so that is another thing that turned us off we couldn’t progress anymore kept restarting some check points would be very helpful please. And people we must be more critical of our games if we want more as far as quality goes if we want the very best it can be then we need demand it and support those that meet its true potential. Games like this need a demo cuz then we may not have bought & had our buyers remorse for that $1 but live n learn we’re also attracted to anything psycodellic too so.
This game is simple yet so addictive. It’s amazing graphics keep you hooked and wanting to play more. The soundtrack makes it even more enticing.
This is a really great game, totally worth the money. The effects and graphics are really great. The only thing we don’t like is that we think there is supposed to be music playing or something while playing but without headphones we cant hear it. Thats fine but we wish theyd fix it but, overall we recommend this game 95%.
First, we want to mention that we hate endless runner games. But that’s not what this is. Though there is an endless level, the game is not like anything we’ve ever played before. It’s challenging, but not so difficult that it’s impossible. It’s such a great concept and it’s totally addictive! It feels like you are in the game and running and jumping at 70 miles an hour. It’s brilliant. It’s the best game we’ve played in a long time! Beautifully and cleverly designed! We wasn’t sure and waited for a long time to buy it. We’re SO HAPPY we gave it a chance. We can’t stop playing. If you’re interested enough to read this review, then stop reading and download it NOW!
Love the game however the HUD orientation seems to be off from the phones orientation. Not sure if it’s a 8.3 issue or what.

This game is the best we’ve played in a long long time, possibly the best. Graphics are unreal and very trippy.
We love the wire frame design. It takes the game to a different dimension, with more effort into the game itself, and not on "cutesy" backgrounds. We also appreciate the first person POV. The game itself is never boring, easy to play, but hard as hell to master. We’ve spent hrs playing without realizing it.

We never in our entire life thought that a game on the App Store would be better than a game on a gaming console ex. (Playstation, Xbox, Wii etc.) but this game has gone way beyond that point. It’s so addicting and worth the 2$. It has such good graphics and the design is beautifully built. We would suggest this game to anybody that has the money and has nothing to do with it. Love it guys. Keep up the good work and make more games like this.

This game is overly fantastic! Definitely worth the price! This game really needs to have support for VR someday and be on steam or console! This game just might be our favorite on all of the AppStore and we hope to see more great things from it in the future.
This game reminds us of playing mirrors edge. Very well done, and it gets pretty difficult if you go to "hard". Good game, worth the $2 for sure!
Let us just say On thing.. We love this game.
Extremely well-thought game, with a deceptively simple look. For such a basic wireframe world, it is easy to get sucked in & lose track of time as you struggle to pass levels. If you’re going for record scores there is a LOT of repetition, trying to nail every jump at the precise moment needed. Might be too frustrating for some, but you can take it easier & just go for level completion instead. There are lots of side challenges to achieve, and a multiplayer version that puts you head-to-head with someone on the same device. Absolutely worth a try if you’re a twitch gamer.
