Newbie Level Up Strategy
Doctor X just can’t stand to watch people do things the hard way, so he painstakingly put together this helpful guide for new players. It can be summed up in one sentence: Players who understand how to invest wisely will reap the biggest rewards!
Tip #1: Sweep Stages & Get Runes –> Raise Troop Level –> Raise Hero & Skill Level –> Advance Quickly
The faster you level up troop level, hero level, and skill level, the higher your battle power will soar. This will help you get a higher rank in the Arena, which means more diamonds, gold, and Arena coins from the daily rewards. Especially important for a new player! In the Arena Shop you can exchange Arena coins for hero soulstones, as well as runes, gold items, and exp elixirs. If you save up a lot of diamonds, you can even do a x8 draw, expanding your army of heroes!
Tip #2: Claim & Buy Stamina –> Get Troop Exp –> Raise Troop Level –> Advance Quickly
I trust that everyone knows that stamina is the foundation of this game. Every day at 5am (server time) you can claim stamina, and then 6 hours later you can claim again. And remember to use your stamina wisely! Most of all remember: before you sleep or stop playing for a bit, you gotta drain all your stamina, because it’ll automatically restore every 6 minutes, but once it’s full, it’ll stop!
And it’s also important to buy stamina at times when it’s necessary. Gotta spend money to make money, as they say!
Tip #3: Daily To Do List –> Various Resources, Items, Exp Elixir & Troop Exp, Etc.
You should definitely do as much of the To Do list as you can each day. Not only can you get tons of resources, but you can also raise your troop level super fast! Just complete each daily task one by one, and in a pinch you can spend diamonds to complete tasks and reach an even higher level chest! Tap on a chest to see its contents, and most of all don’t overlook the troop level exp you can get here. It’s super important!
Tip #4: Where to Get Exp Elixir/How to Use Wisely? –> Raise Hero Level

Exp Elixirs are divided into basic, average, and advanced sizes. They may not seem as valuable as diamonds, but you definitely can’t do without them! One bottle can only be used on one hero, so in the early period, you’ve definitely gotta choose carefully how you want to spend your elixirs. Give them only to heroes you want in your lineup, and don’t try to train all the heroes you own (of course, if you have enough money, then forget I ever said anything!).
Also, when you’ve almost got enough diamonds saved up for a x8 draw, remember to stock up on exp elixirs beforehand! New heroes really need this stuff! Good luck!
Tip #5: The Value of Runes and Skill Level –> Level Up & Advance Heroes –> Raise Battle Power
There’s lots of contributing factors to a hero’s battle power, but to a new player, none are more important than skill points and runes.
Skill Points: Every hero has 4 skills which unlock as a hero advances color by color. The first one is every hero’s ultimate, the most powerful one! Especially for newbies, even if we can’t get better heroes right away, at least we can keep leveling up the skill points of the heroes we have and get more mileage out of them! And for your main lineup, you definitely want to make sure they’re maxed out!
Runes: These are essential for hero advancement, and in the early period you definitely should make sure that all your main heroes have all their runes. You should know that as heroes advance, it unlocks new skills, equipment, and boosts power, etc. So you gotta do all you can to make this happen! When you don’t have enough stamina, you’ve gotta bit the bullet and use gold or diamonds to buy more!
