NEW BOSS!!!
At the end of sectors 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10, you might now end up facing a different boss with a lot of tricks up his shell!
This crab-like foe won't only shoot you, but also throw its homing claws at your ship, try to fry you with lasers coming out from its eyes, and even chase you from behind, putting your evading maneuvers to the test!
We also fixed a bug regarding the Blaster Ship at Rank 3, which was losing its Ship Rank bonus.

This game takes us back to our youth we remember being in front of the wooden arcade box for hours at a time with our friends, you will not be disappointed.
Everything the original arcade game was, and so much more. Totally addictive.
We always loved Galaga and Galaxian in the arcades as well as Edgar M. Vigdals Deluxe Galaga on Amiga computers, but this game is a very cool and very fun version adapted perfectly for the iPhone. It will certainly become a new favorite for us.

We are not one to leave reviews, especially on games. This ticks so many boxes. It gives old school arcade vibes with killer graphics and easy game play. It is addictive without being exploitative.
We literally play this everyday, great way to pass time, those cosmic challenges are DIFFICULT but getting those 3 stars feel so good.
This game is addictive and fun! We love this game. Imagine a 60s game lover.
And for whatever reason the endless levels keep us playing longer than we probably should be.
Love the nostalgic intro music – brings back arcade memories from the 80s. Also love the game play. Finally earned all max upgraded ships as well as max upgraded extras (start with two ships, rapid fire, and a random power up). Definitely recommend this game.
Hint dont give up trying to get 11.
We never thought we'd see one of our favorite games be brought in such excellent fashion. Truly remarkable. Sorry have to run — we have to get back to saving the universe.
Wish theyd give us something to do with the coins and badges once we get all the ships. Elite is wild.

Great game to pass the time. Loving it so far.
Felt uncomfortable and lacking without a joystick initially. However, once we adjusted to a 21st Century form factor it became a nostalgic arcade favorite again. Now its one of our Arcade favorites on iPhone.
LOVE: Classic shoot-em-up game. Cant buy or short-cut your way to the top, gotta earn those credits and upgrades (as games should be). Cosmic challenges were freaking hard, but so gratifying when you get those 3 stars. | DISLIKE: Nothing really. After 8 weeks and reaching a 14m high score/ 746 on the leaderboard, we dont think we have anything left in us to beat that record. | SUMMARY: Great game but it takes the life out of you.
We were scrolling through the Arcade page and stumbled upon this gameit immediately took us back to the good old days of playing classics like Defender and Stargate! But this one stands out with a more polished look. The graphics are amazing, and the in-game explosions are absolutely wicked. Now that the game has reached its end, we just want to say farewell, Galaga Wars+! Youll be missed.
When this first came out, the reviews were ehh, but we still gave it a try, got hooked and won every achievement. After that, we put it down for nearly 2 years. We noticed the reviews got much better, so picked it up found that the developers added weekly challenges and an elite level. Hooked again. The touch controls are outstanding and this our favorite touch control game.
Its living the 1980s again on steroids. This game keeps us going for hours. Cant play it enough. Ive lost 4 jobs because of this game. And we were a prison guard. Wow. Oh well, pizza delivery it is.
Very nice game There is no ads and most of the ships are cheaper then the free version.
Good development of hand eye coordination. A lot of fun.
The game is very similar to the original arcade game. In the later stages of the game however, you accumulate large quantities of the various rewards with nothing to spend them on. They should add some sort of exchange rate between the awards where you could purchase the ones that are still useful.

We just unlocked the PacMan ship, and when we saw the new levels we squeed with joy. That was what motivated us to finally come rate the game and give a five star review.
Game is totally cool like Galaga this ones really good.
Great game Im in love but we will say that it does seem to be a bit of a grind to upgrade ships. Also, the final bosses of a sector can rig the battle regardless of how excellent ones abilities are. We find that to be really disheartening and truly unfair. Its random, but its pretty ridiculous. Im not saying to make the game easier but deliberately crashing a space ship as one is entering a new portal is plain ol wrong and devious. We pay for an AA subscription and playing video games gives is a way to escape the real world of favoritism and people who cheat in their said career paths. Playing a video game should be devoid of such social cruelty.
Our dad installed this game do we installed it too, cool hard mode, quests, pac man ship for some reason, cool barricade for 2 or 3 characters, install to know more.

Very relaxing when on the bus and on the train.
Galaga Wars brings our arcade days to our phone but with better graphics and sound effects. Its a blast.

Love it Galaga is our favorite arcade game we have a Dave and Busters near us but go sparingly once a month the fact that this Galaga Wars+ is on Apple Arcade is awesome!!! Gives us our fix in between Arcade visits.
This game is really fun Its so cool. You can get a reward every day. Lots of coins. It is awesome. We just dont know how to get to Pac-Man but thats it. We really highly recommend this game.
We were a huge fan of Galaga in the video arcade. It ate rolls of quarters probably best spent elsewhere. This version stays true to its origins keeping us always grasping for that next level, maple leaf or farming coins for upgrades. We havent even beat level one of the Cosmic Challenge, yet. Level 10 and 108 are our highest regular levels. So there remains a great deal to challenge and entertain us. For newcomers, its mechanics are like chess. Easy to learn, difficult to master. Sometimes, the graphics will propel us into sensory overload with all the explosions, ricocheting missiles and laser beams. Good thing we can pause simply by removing our finger from the screen. Nice touch. The one thing that confuses us is the level warp scenes. There are what appear to be power up balls to consume, but their purpose is a mystery to us. Other than that, only the rare minor bug that doesnt detract much from the game. Update: A couple months of playing and now the games boring. After acquiring all the ships and reaching Level 11, coins and credits are pointless. The challenge levels are ridiculously difficult for the few tokens you receive for completing a task. Time to move on.
This is a great classic arcade shooter with modern additions that bring a lot of replay value, motivation to grind and get better, and a whole lot of satisfaction when you are able to achieve a great run or finish a hard challenge stage. We highly recommend giving it a try.

We love this game. Its simple and will always be challenging. Its a good one for passing small amounts of time and we love the pause function (lifting your finger from the screen). A few other favorite things include: 1. You can always play through from level one even if you have nothing to start with. You dont have to build up items to continue play. 3. The last levels are infinite so you never have to stop, either. Nice. 3. There are two modes of play, normal and elite. You can always access both from level one (once you unlock elite mode, which happens fairly early). Both modes refresh credits. Point accumulation matches levels skipped to enable chasing high scores. 4. Fast travel to higher levels. 5. Can always find a challenge but with low stakes game play. So we dont lose everything if we perish. 6. The extra life at the end for a low cost of 10 coins, which you will almost always have. 7. Different ships and themes from across nostalgia games. 8. Gift and daily challenges refresh quickly (4 hours, we think). 9. The cosmic challenges are difficult (for us at least), but we love that we can choose to pursue all 3 challenges in a given level, or move on to the next level after it unlocks. Unlocking only requires completing one goal from the previous level. Some recommendations: 1. It could be more clear that the cosmic challenges are the only place to accumulate items for ship upgrades. We had to look it up. One issue there is that the items for upgrades appear as different colors on the Home Screen (red) versus the upgrade menu (yellow). It looks like two different items. 2. The credit items appear generally at the end of levels, which is fine except that they sometimes blink out before they can be collected because the scene moves to the next level. It would nice to have a second to collect things before being brought to the next level. 3. We hope there will be more levels, modes, and ships in the future! This is not a complaint, just a recognition that there is a lot of potential to expand and we hope it happens! Overall, thanks for a fun, simple, and challenging game! Our few suggestions.
We grew up playing this game in arcades long ago! They have taken a classic and taken it to the next level. Whenever we have down time and have to pass a few minutes we play this game. Time flies by and before we know it; its go time again. Im ADHD so we hate sitting still. This game totally remedies those breaks/down time. Great game! Upgraded weaponry is epic.
Contains everything you want in a remade Galaga game. Our only wish is that you could add a retro pack, making everything like 8 bit. Perhaps even a pixelated version of the classic Galaga ship that also changes the map and does other stuff like how the PAC-Man character does. Otherwise, no complaints. Amazing game, do recommend.
Great revamp with lots of replay ability! Intriguing power-UPs that really effect your play. Tiered progression system makes it a fun and challenging way to help you always want to best your last Hi-score! (remember Hi-scores?!) And our personal favorite feature is you can unlock new ships designed around other Namco IP, such as Xevious, SkyKid, Pac-Man, Galaxian, StarBlade, Katamari Damancy, and more! Hope this comes to consoles eventually. (Im looking at you N-Switch! And in portrait-mode!).

Lots of old school shoot em up! Great fun with all the ships and straight forward game. Not complicated, no pay to win! Just a righteous arcade game from the 80s revamped and spot on!! Great work.

This game when we tell you we love this game we LOVE THIS GAME! It makes us feel like the 90s again. When we used to save up our quarters to go to the movies arcade. Just to play this and mortal kombat! If you love and shoot em ups – nostalgia we would highly recommend.
This title in the Galaga series has to be one of the most polished and repayable games of them, the unlockables give you something to work towards, and is very challenging.
Love this game but Id say too addictive lol.
Quite different from the original arcade Galaga, but more fun, and perfectly executed.
