One of the best shoot’em up games available today. It has everything a proper space drama fan could ask for. Modern yet classical UI, nostalgia inducing pixel designs, heart-pumping physics engine, engaging characters and storyline, great variety of ships and upgrades that prevents the game from becoming stale… It’s magnificent.
So l love this game and wont stop playing it (99%) off the day.

We read some of the other reviews and we do not understand their complaints. It is shooter with RPG style stats. You can get credits and bounty quickly by completing bounty hunt missions and cargo missions which are plentiful. Once you save enough credits (which does not take long), you can unlock stronger ships. There are so many ships to choose from and they have a variety of special weapons and stat bonuses. Also, the reactors are powerful and are crucial for victory. The raid missions are fun and give you power cores which unlock some of the best ships in the game. The bounty hunt and cargo missions get progressively harder as you unlock more sectors so a good strategy is to play these missions early on to collect credits, bounty, ships, and rare items. Then once you become more powerful, beat a few more sectors, then play more of the side missions again so you can become even stronger. Repeat this process and you will progress throughout the game like a blood thirsty falcon. Visually, the game is stunning. The weapon effects are awesome, the sound is strong, and the gameplay is intense. The screen is always filled with a variety of unique and great looking enemy weapons. The bosses and their weapons are wild and their music is intense. Another great aspect in the game is the story line. The game contains dialogue throughout the entire campaign which is witty and entertaining, and the story itself is intriguing. The characters are well developed and interact in interesting manners. We are absolutely stunned by players saying that they couldn’t get past the first 6-10 sectors. There are 100 sectors! We are equally as surprised by how many players said that the developers are greedy and how they force you to spend money to progress throughout the game. This is simply not true. The time it takes to collect credits and bounty is reasonable if you play both the campaign and side missions. Plus, you must get better items and ships as you progress throughout the game. It does not take too much time to get and upgrade items that will help you progress through the next few sectors. It takes a while to beat the entire game because there are so many missions and tiers of items. Whenever you do need to get better items, it does not take too long. The side missions are fun, change as you progress, and help you get better items and credits pretty quickly. Plus, the items get better and never get old because there are always new types of awesome stats and weapons. A smart strategy is too equip a combination of items and ships that have a chain-link effect (powerful stats that power other powerful stats). We don’t mean to degrade these gamers, but we hope to get more people to understand the strategies needed to conquer this amazing game. We never had to grind much or spend money, and even though its challenging, we never got stuck on one level for a long time. More people would enjoy it if they would understand the proper strategies and appreciate the myriad of RPG style items. There are an incredible amount of amazing stats, weapons, and missions. How could you not enjoy this game? There are so many gameplay elements. The developers deserve more credit. This is the most underrated vertical shooter. Anyway, we love this game. It is perfect and no other vertical shooter is like it. We appreciate the compelling story line, awesome items and stats, myriad of ships and weapons, great sound and graphics, and very smooth gameplay mechanics. We would give it 10 stars if we could.
Lots of potential… Please keep updating and adding to it. More ships, maybe a screen that allows you to view the current ship with the upgrades on it! More background scenes. More special weapons!!!
But needs updates, along with a restore purchases option. And of course: a better chance-no- option for better gear!

Please come back and update this app. It needs some lovin and fixes and more content. Been here since day 1 and love this game to death. We cant bring myself to delete it.
This is one of our favorite games, the pacing is fine, the story still has our attention on sector 61, and despite being so small, the ships are sick. Our only complaint is that this game hasnt been updated in two years, but does it honestly need it? Refreshing the app to get the bounty and cargo missions nets you really quick loot and like every 10th run you get a secret item. Combine them with a ship like the mantis and youre un-killable.
Reminds us of Sky Force Reloaded, although it’s pretty different, and the story’s actually pretty engaging. Unfortunately, as thing’s get harder, the pacing suffers, but that’s not enough to give it a bad score. EDIT: So we’ve noticed a bug perhaps. When you exit out of the game and come back in, the bounty, cargo, and raid missions are all instantly generated. This definitely makes it easier to accrue things, but… We have to wonder… Is it TOO easy…?
This is one of this most challenging space shooting game we’ve played. Its very fast paced, and CHALLENGING. But it has one flaw, the way to get credit is very hard. We know that you are able to watch an ad for extra credit, but those come very rarely. Overall, very amazing game, very challenging too, but credit is hard to come by.
Amazing game but Id really like to see some more updates.
Very fun once you get a decent ship and some items. Our first suggestion is to make a cores to credits conversion, so that after you buy all of the core ships you can still use the cores for something. Our second suggestion is to add more ships! After you get the core ships, anvindr, and the raikou (core ships plus 35 credit ships), the other ones are underwhelming. In other words add more late game stuff. Just a general note, regular crates are almost entirely useless, even in very late stages. The only usable accessories in the regular crates are the guns that give a chance for regular bullets to stun, which you then pair with a ship like the Akama for stun locks. It would be cool to make credits and regular crates a little more relevant.
This game is fun but it gets repetitive after a while. We like this game because of the story driven characters, but we wish Gemini Strike was way more story driven.
Graphics in this game are amazing and gameplay is really fun too, especially in higher levels, however we didn’t really like the story mode or campaign part. Mostly kept going back through levels after we had completed the campaign, as that’s what is more fun in our opinion..
TL;DR: we want the developers to pay attention to this game again and update it and fix some bugs. We’ve been playing this game since we got our first iPhone (an iPhone 5), and we love it! We just wish the devs would come back to it and update it. Theres only a few bugs, which Im sure they could invest some time into tackling. Whenever we complete the bounty missions or the raid missions, we have to close the app entirely and re-open it, just to refresh the missions so they show up again. Also, it would make sense that the further in the game you are, the better gear you are awarded.
So many memories of playing this in our free time, and no other game really scratches the Galaga itch while also being so polished and innovative. Finding this game again after so long was like finding a needle in a haystack, especially with all the new (and terrible) Galaga clones.
We’ve played this game off and on for about 3 years. Im currently on level/world 32. If you can beat the bounty and cargo missions consistently youll be ok, But around world 20 is when the gear starts getting harder to get. Id spend days trying to get better gear of the cargo missions before moving on to the next world.
People talk about how they have trouble upgrading, getting lives, ads, and micro transactions. If you want to enjoy this Id recommend doing the cargo and bounty hunt missions. But after doing them change the date ahead a day to do another to keep getting gear. Thats the best way to enjoy this game unless the devs come back and make changes. Im okay with the ads as a way for them to get money. But without changing the dates to get good gear. The game is just gearing you up for pay to progress.
Fun game for the first few levels. Then everything seems to hit a paywall with the boss of 3. Enemies far outrank your power and it gets to where you have to be incredibly good with spider sense or pay for upgrades.
Ok so, can you add more levels? Also fix some bugs. Its in the title, Armor Games Dev. We wish we could give better ratings, but if you dont ever come back on this game, welp the ratings stay the same.
We recently found this game in our purchased list and decided to replay it. Its still fun, but gets boring later in on as stages one after another are repetitive. With only the level of difficulty increasing. So clearly, this game still needs more features and improvements.
Theres a lot that can be added the game seems cut and dry and has been for a while, if they got onto adding different aspects to the game it would be much more interesting.
The game is difficult. Its not an impossible you lost a mission so its game over but it is difficult. We would love a function where we can keep our cargo from mission until we can open them. Its annoying to survive through one, only to find out we dont have the credits or cubes to open the cargo. Good game, worth it if you have patience! -J.
We had this game once before, but we wanted to try it again, to see if the issues previously discovered had been resolved. In a word: no. The capabilities of your ship are almost completely dependent on the stats attached to the armaments from the crates; if you want a better ship, it will require better loot. You can get crates in a number of ways, but to get the loot FROM the crates, youll have to spend the games currency – either gems or credits. If you obtain a crate without having the gems or credits to open it, youll have to either spend real money to get the amount you need, or abandon the crate, as if any crate not opened is destroyed. Even if you do obtain the loot from the crate, the stats attached are a complete jumble, unless it is rare-grade loot or higher, meaning that the loot you may want to use may not make your ship any more capable to survive. This will mean spending a good amount of time simply grinding for the loot that will have the stats to keep your ship intact for more than a couple of hits. To raise the stats on the loot you get? LOTS of gems; 3,850 of them, to be exact, to get even standard loot to their max level. Without the gem doubler (a in-game purchase), amassing that amount would take longer than it is worth. We have made it to sector 26 for the first time, but the grinding and spending of gems and credits in the hopes that an armament that we want will actually improve our ship, instead of just giving us a desired weapon to use, actually makes the tons of items procedurally generated a negative thing; it would be better to simply have a shop that allows to purchase what you want, so you have more control over your ships stats/chance of survival, or have a level-up system on your ship itself, so that you have a chance of making it better in between all the crate obtaining/opening. sigh we’ve had enough… Again. :-(
It’s sad as this game has potential. However, the dev’s. Set the game up to make money through in app purchases(which are expensive) and a constant barrage of ads. We would spend some money on in-apps upgrades but we can see myself deleting the game because of the ads shortly after. You essentially get 2 lives per level, but you have to watch a 30 second ad to get the second life(or chance, whatever). Some of the higher levels are nearly impossible to complete in 1 chance(or two depending on the strength of your upgrades)so you are constantly watching ads only to fail and have to do it again. You can spend an hour trying to get past a level, but you spend 45 minutes of that hour watching ads so you never get into a rhythm. Offer an ad-free version and we will spend some money on upgrades.
As you progress through the game it becomes more and more buggy. By the seventh level we would die before the first enemy even spawned and lose a life. Utterly terrible game.
We had this game we think two or three years ago and enjoyed it very much. But sadly once you get any kind of deep into the game you will slowly realize this app (like 90% of the rest of the game app market) gears you toward in app purchases. The game becomes so incredibly frustrating dealing with OP enemies while youre still trying to deal with making your ship any kind of stronger than when you start the game off. If you can make it farther into the game then world 6 then we congratulate you. Major changes to the gem and credit system and nerfs to the black market to make it very less expensive to buy an upgrade would make us re download this game again. Until then this is just another game with EXTREME POTENTIAL that goes to waste with greedy developing.
On the new iPhone XS Max the game doesnt fill up the screen and there’sThea black bars at the top and bottom. When you move your ship over them it gets stuck. It completely messes up the game and causes you too die. Please fix.
Difficulty ramps up significantly within the beginning of the game (20 to 30mins), and as a result you will have to replay levels to grind for in game currency to upgrade your weapons or take the risk of paying for a lootcrate drop with 100 credits and getting a useless weapon/mod anyway. We’ve played this game since the iPhone 4S came out, we enjoy it time to time but the pay to win aspect makes it hard for us to WANT to play for more than a little.
This is no more than a mediocre shooter. After 1 hour of play the game goes from easy to near impossible. Your lives are on a timer to manipulate you to spend money on lives. Theres so many better shooters out there that arent a cash grab: Phoenix 2 Time locker Sky Force (any version) Infinity gene Plasma sky … To name a few.
This is a great game but sometimes it can be a little to hard and the ads really get on our nerves please remove them so we can have a solid gameplay experience. :)
Most recent update messes everything up. Constantly kicks or back to home screen, watching video to continue doesn’t work ever for special missions/rarely for normal levels.
We honestly gave up on this game even though it was really fun to us when it was first released. And this last update said it "no longer requires internet connection to play" which really was the only thing holding us back. So we’re glad to see one of our favorite bullet hell games once again!
Thought this game was abandoned guess not. It’s a good game.

This was a fun and addictive classic arcade shooter with a cool story, great graphics and sweet weapons. Now there are stupid ads that pop up after every level every time and when you try to skip them it turns the screen black and you have to force quit. What a pathetic shame to ruin such a unique game.
Gemini Strike is a great game with fantastic graphics and gameplay. This was one of our favorite games, that was until adds were introduced. Half of the game is spent watching adds, and every other time one closes, the game freezes with a gray screen, and forces us to force close the app. Not to mention, multiplayer and PVP should be added to the game. Without adds, we would definitely rate this game 5 stars. Please take into account what we have said. It would be such a shame to see such an amazing game ruined by adds.
Developer wiped out all paid for content, requires purchase again, now is an ad after almost every mission which winds up crashing the game. Used to be an awesome game and now just greedy dev trying to squeeze every penny out of a game while dropping features. Amazing game before and just trash now.
We lost all our in app purchases and progression with the removal of the social tabs because that is how our account progress was saved. We should get a refund or a credit. Other than that the game would be more addicting if it wasn’t so repetitive.
How did this get on our purchased list? We’ve never seen this game before, much less downloaded ir.

We highly recommend this game for anyone who likes Galiga or arcade space shooter based games or anyone who likes grinders or a challenge the game keeps you focused and on your toes we personally love the game but it takes a while for you to get into it and the story is pretty good too… Not the best though bet the gameplay makes up for that.
This is an easy game to play, with many hours if fun.
