Will Our Early 2.2 Levels Look Bad? Just like how our early 2.0 and 2.1 levels looked terrible. Looking back on the video, I realize that it’s hurtful to use the specific levels I showed in the video as examples for levels looking bad. I’m going to have a…

agreed, but one thing you missed is 2.2 GDPSs. most 2.2 features are on those, and we’re already going thru the experimentation phase on those. but, GDPS dont have all 2.2 features so its a bit less likely for a bad levels to be everywhere at the start of the update, good video thoM

"I only care about if the new levels are readable. New levels are just filled with decoration and i just want simpler levels onesestly."

"It isnt about how many triggers are added, it is about how big the effect on levels is, aka how abusable the triggers are. Abusable triggers are stuff like move, rotate, pulse… , and non abusable triggers are stuff like count, pickup, on death… . You would have to be experienced with triggers to even get a use out of non abusable triggers. 2.2 adds a LOT of abusable triggers. Camera, effects, random, scale, arrow trigger… . It even adds a mode that changes everything! Early 2.2 is either gonna be really slow until creators use the features or it becomes early 2.1 all over again. And i think for platformer mode, this is unavoidable as well… there haven’t been any platformer levels made yet. Unless you play GDPS editor."

Bruex: I only care about if the new levels are readable. New levels are just filled with decoration and i just want simpler levels onesestly.

Bossman35: We have another year to contemplate this question…2.2 when

Star Peng: Planning on making a random level with 9 Paths Randomly chose. All are 2-4 Star Difficulty.

ChrissBoi: after watching this video and practising from gdps’ i think that looking at this video creators (like me) will try our best with the features and use the practice as advantage for Geometry Dash 2.2. and wow at the time i’m commenting this video has 123 likes lol.

Leo Laudann: I Have an Idea!
If you make some kind of copy of a level, just name the level after the base you used YOUR level, "(Name of Baselevel" REMAKE". Isn`t that a good idea? I think so…

spleefgame: 7:50 god damn robtop got destroyed

BrysonTheElite: I saw searching up ‘’geometry dash is bad’’ so i can hear peoples terrible opinions, But i found none. God DANG everyone loves this game.

Nickz74: Guess what? 2.2 will make GD 2x bigger

Utube is karen: “2.2 might be as big as 2.0”

Don’t you mean “will be way bigger than”?

Yvan Levi: 3:32 that levels looks interesting. What’s its name? might try it

Yvan Levi: Imo the levels in early 2.2 wont be that bad but yeah i expect bad trigger usage

MarkeseHallowe: if a really good level that started in this update and is still being worked on in 2.2 and gets some of the 2.2 features and still looks good like the non 2.2 part it basically would be the best early 2.2 level

Brodie Mitch: They won’t look bad, but the gameplay would be torture for a while, especially with extremes

Pink The Axolotl: Considering I have access to 2.2, YES, DEFINITELY BAD LEVELS.

Thatsmallcessna: I don’t personally think they will look bad. Early 2.0 looked bad because that was coming off the more simplistic 1.9 Era. The standards weren’t just going to shift to the complex standards of today overnight. However, now we have huge standards. It’s not uncommon to see most levels push the boundaries of the editor nowadays. Levels might suffer in areas like random trigger and affect abuse, but I think the community has enough of an understanding of deco that 2.2 levels will start off well. And of course, they’ll just have to get better as the update goes on!

Steven Schuitemaker: Tip: just don’t use the radom trigger and make the time warp trigger predicted (i Made a level how to make it better)

Rule Breaker: And now they’re gonna overused camera and sneak peek 2.2 design..

Fornax: Does it matter that early 2.2 levels will look bad though?
