Community Insight:
Please add some different choices for cards. Backs and fronts! More readable would be good, thanks. Also wish there was a choice on orientation, especially for the pad. Would be nice if it held multiplayer games fir when you come back and if there was a log in so you could play on pad or phone. And havent found a game history yet. Otherwise great so far.
While not 100% intuitive, this app is really amazing overall. Settings allow you to tailor the rules (straight gin, knocking, etc.), and even has seamless online play with a friend. A brief melding tutorial would probably help a lot of people (you CAN meld after the computer find out), but honestly, after a couple games, you get the hang of everything. Then it does exactly what you expect: provide a seamless gin game with nothing you dont need.
The inability to meld in solo play after the opponent gets Gin was enough to drive us crazy, but the clunky set-up on top of that was what made us delete this game. The version we have on our MacBook Air is more intuitive, has easy game play, and was free. This was a waste of our money. We would NOT recommend it until the developers overhaul it completely.
We can accept losing but when 9 out of 10 plays the card you are waiting for comes up in the deck after you start to discard that suite someone is rotten in Denmark. We give it a two because its never stalled.
We paid to get a Gin Rummy game without advertisements and this one is totally worthless. We would like a refund if we could figure out how to get it. The cards are ridiculously small. The product is a zero compared to the free gin rummy apps.
