GL Golf is a Simulation/Sports/Sports game from Jacob Leveto, first launched in 31st January 2019.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 103+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes GL Golf Stand Out
GL Golf is a 3D sports game for the casual gamer. With a realistic physics system and great simple graphics, you and up to four players can golf all 720 holes (some available through in-app purchase) for countless hours. Everything in a real game of golf is included, such as water hazards, sand traps, trees, bushes, wind, four seasons, different time of days to play, and a driving range. Other great features include both an internet and individual high score list, game saving, great music, iTunes controls, 3 difficulty modes, mulligans, the ability to choose your set of clubs, match/stroke play, online tournaments, customizable male and female golfers, and much more. GL Golf is constantly being updated with free new features. Four new courses are released every year, available for in-app purchase.

We installed it back in 2013 and still play it weekly; its a great kill time game, graphics are low def with its charm. We hope there could be more courses though. Please release an update with improved graphics and additional courses. Thanks.
We LOVE this game! We pretty much play at least 1 round every day and its fun and challenging every time! Please add more courses but otherwise dont change a thing. This is our perfect golf game.
We wish the developers would allow you to read the description of the courses before buying. Not familiar with a lot of these courses. Also wish the would add a few more. One suggestion would be Highland Woods. Its an Illinois Cook County Forest Preserve course that is really challenging. In the same area is Arlington Lakes, an Arlington Heights, Illinois park district course that is a real challenge because of all the traps and water that comes into play on a relatively shorter course with tight lies.
Loads of realistic golf but game does frustrate when putting.
We absolutely love this game, sadly the new iOS update has made it not as playable. Every time we play on hobo canyon we get booted out after the 2nd through 6th hole. Hopefully there is a patch or an update to the game soon. Shawn.
Absolutely loved this game untill, one day we accidentally deleted the game. We downloaded it back and restored our in-game purchases as well. After we did this we went to play the same course we played every time, August Lane Black Tees and 4th pins. We played hole one and then the game crashed. By crashed in meaning we finish the hole and the app just simply closed. Im still giving it a 3 star rating because of how fun that it was before it began doing this. If anyone has some tips just try to let us know! Thanks.
Great game except the putting needs work and a little bit more clarity on distances for the holes. Use in a regular IPad and the Home Screen is vey small to read, and make selections on. Which more detail on other courses to purchase. How about a preview.
We thoroughly enjoy the app and the course it offers. However, after we added all the courses that are available 5 of the courses scrolled to the bottom of the page and 4 of them are inoperable. Considering the fact you have to pay for adding courses we basically have wasted one of the additions. This is the only issue we have.
Fairly realistic drives and fairway shots. The reason for only three stars is the horrible putting part of the program. Definitely not realistic to the point it actually ruins the game for you. Headed towards a round of 62, but six putted on par three! The ball would not drop in the hole, very unrealistic. Correct the putting issue and youre looking at a possible five star rating.
One of our all time favorites games, but it crashes all the time on iOS 18 and is basically unplayable. We really hope they can fix it.
Just purchased course group 3….(Rattlesdnake, Morrosfiled, San Jacinto……) most of these are crap. In addition to being rediculous layouts, on many the V choice ( preview of shot) does not show what may happen, where the ball winds up, etc. We repeat thiis review… These coures (except for 1 0r 2 ) are a biunch of crap… And we want our money back ! Does anyone actually play this app… We do. Can any one tell us why, the replay bottom is so close to the loft/punch. You have the whole left side of the screen, yet everything is bunched up, like it makes a difference of what you can see on the course. Instead, Ill just keep waiting for the replay to finish, so we can keep playing(when game is done doing what it wants to do), because we inadvertently taped the ill placed replay button. Space them out already, pretend like you care.
Got a new XR and just tried to use the app and it doesnt work anymore.
A very well designed app with very realistic golfing situations. BUT ! The putting part of most games is atrocious. Very unpredictable with many missed puts for no real reason. Almost impossible to gauge green nuances to make a good decision, or similar problems that wouldnt exists anyhow. The designers need to redo the entire putting scene. The putting scheme is stupid….when are you guys going to do something about this…..terrible, impossible !!!! Lawrence Corina we repeat our complaint: the putting part of this app is totally insane. Im very close to junking this app, unless you correct this terrible part of the game.
Bought upgrade waste of money frustrating game many holes no direction greens tilt one way ball goes other so many issues we can't mention Them all one of the holes the ball stops in mid flite as if you hit a tree or something they need to address all the issues instead of adding more things to spend money one of the worst apps because of this.
Tapping the swing button nothing happens!! Tried all suggestions in support to no avail! App works fine on iPhone 8 and iPad Air.
Played this game a lot when it worked on our iPhone 5. Stopped working on our iPhone 7. Installed it on an old iPad (iOS 10.3.3) and enjoying the game again! Please update.
Play a little every day. Adjustable settings u set before your shot.

This is a delightfully engaging, and sometimes frustrating game. . . A lot like the actual sport. We highly recommend it.
Realistic, a range of challenges from easy to difficult, good graphics, wide variety of courses. We'd rather not tell you how many hours we've spent playing this game – it's a lot – and we've enjoyed every one of them.

Normally works great, but since last update it keeps crashing. Needs to be fixed.
Have been playing this for a few years but lately we have not been able to finish a game without getting shut down Notas good as it used to be. Needs repairs desperately.

Almost unplayable on our iPad. Use to work great and we enjoyed playing. Now performance is terrible and makes the game almost unplayable.
Believe us we've tried them all. This is the best golf app out there. No other golf app has the ability to shape your shot like this one. It is the only app that we have purchased everything available. Being left-handed we appreciated the upgrade where they allowed the golfer to be left-handed. The only thing we haven't bought is the extra Mulligan pack because we think that would be cheating. If we do have one critique it is what's up with the overhead view of the hole? That's a nice feature but useless because the clouds cover what you're trying to look at. We've played close to 300 rounds and we usually play as a foursome so that'll tell you that we do play this game a lot. Only other suggestion would be to upgrade the graphics. If this game could look like the course you're playing, (we.e. That other game WGT) Despite the low resolution blocky graphics, we will play this game forever.
This game is definitely fun to play and has very easy courses to challenging. Whatever your mood you can find a course to match it.

Had this game on our iPhone and iPad for several years. They continue to update and improve. Very rarely crashes. You can buy additional course packages, so, if and when you get bored with your current courses…..voila…..you have a bunch of new courses to play. Just like the real thing you have to decide whether to lay up or go for it….Draw or fade……backspin….it's all there. In the real world we're a fifteen handicapper…..in THIS world we're a scratch player….lol LOVE this app.
Love this game! Nice on our iPad mini, but runs faster on our iPhone 6plus. Blind man's bluff needs work tho.
This app is almost as good as GL Golf for Macbook, missing only a few view features. We're never bored standing in line. Some courses (and the greens, especially, on some courses) are ridiculous, so we just don't play them. There are enough more realistic courses to enjoy. We have no idea what the scoring leaders must do to post 18-hole scores of 42 and such. But we could not care less. Not interested in hypertechnical play. Thanks.

Good app! Game is realistic to a round of golf. Putting can be difficult at times…just like real golf.
Overall, very entertaining. Wide variety of fun courses and fairly realistic play. Still a couple of bugs on one or two of the courses, but by and large, a solid product.
We've had it with this game. The markers on the greens are significantly inconsistent, breaking the wrong way on a very random basis. We welcome tough greens, but not intentionally misleading.
No frills golf game with all the options and info you need. Perfect.
Love the game. The accuracy of the Left-handed golfer mode seems to be not quite as accurate as the right-handed mode. Tends to go slightly off target on a semi-regular basis. Other than that, we still love the game.

Enjoy this game. Many courses. Different levels of play make it challenging. Match play with other people online is good too. This game has helped us get through many long meetings, doctors office visits, etc.
Can't get the game to work we can use all options but can't hit the ball nothing happens when tapping swing.
This game achieves a good balance of being hard enough to play well and easy enough to play. It keeps your interest as you try to improve your score. However, some of the greens are so rediculous that we don't play those courses.

Playing the real game all over the country for about 25 years. Still gonna keep our day job but have a love for it that won't go away. Can't play often and have found this game, more than any other we've tried, gives us the same kind of enjoyment, day after day.
Good app with a variety of course layouts. A couple courses, while challenging video, are not the type of holes you would find in reality. Fun though.
Ok, so the ball bounces in all different directions, just like a real course. Graphics are decent, need to be careful on what club to use, had this for a long time and we always go back to this game, even after better games out there. Naturally you have to purchase courses but no big deal, you can get along with what the game provides, go a while. Never crashe, but after an upgrade, better looks on the first page, somehow we went back to the original page we had prior upgrade. Can,t explain. We wish that we could upgrade but don,t know how we recommend the game, it will keep you busy and you can get some enjoyment from playing.
Very helpful as a new golfer. Grid on putting green is great.
