Ive been playing this game consistently for a few months now. We didnt put any money into the game until two months in for a battlepass-esq thing. We were able to, and continue to progress, with no money added. We actually have a bunch of their in game currency (around a hundred+ dollars worth) just from doing dailys regularly. Thats all to say that this game is a fun, idle type game that has little to no pay-to-win aspect within itself. Its very entertaining and has a lot of progression. Im getting close to endgame gameplay so we wish there were a few more things to do but their new additions with mini-games and such are a breath of fresh air. Overall, Id give it a 5/5. The combat is satisfying, the progression is consistent, and overall its rather fun with a few layers of complexity. If this is read by the developers, Id really like for the addition of some sort of clan/group that you can create and do events with so that us and our friends could play together.
We can literally beat people up so easily.
Its honestly quite an entertaining game.
As the title states we dont normally rate phone games, but this one is by far one of the better idle games and we hope it can stay this way and not sell sour like others that are bombarded with ads and charge a crazy fee for no ads.
This is one of the best games we play on our phone when we wanna see carnage five star for sure love this game.
Havent been playing for too long, but it is a very satisfying gladiator-style manager-type game. Ive been spending a little time tapping our gladiators to get them leveled up above the competition and they dont even stand a chance! However, we feel like the difficulty is about to ramp up! If youre thinking of playing, try it out.
Now ima give this a five star because so far we love the game and most about it but ever since two days ago every time we go look at our heros, and click the upgrade button the game crashes, every single time so unless we can get that figured out we are completely st a standstill in the game.
This game is entertaining but we have found a bug. For the knife thorwing event the spining wheel keeps glicthing out. It stops, then moves at different speeds and it keeps changing where we hit the wheel. We hooe this gets fixed but untill then, 4/5.
We have been playing this game for a while now and we love it!! Our only issue is the fitness advertisement crashes our game every time making us reset the game and losing progress and people in the process and its only that ad which is odd but nonetheless.
We started the game today and already spend a good amount of money on it. Our suggestion is to have your gladiators/heroes not be permanently dead upon defeat. We stopped spending completely once we discovered this feature. We would hate to make a huge financial investment on our units just to have them gets killed off. Maybe keep them injured longer but not permanently dead.
Been having a good time playing its decently satisfying lvling up but we want to list the cons. 1-after this last update as some of these other reviews have said its gotten a bit unstable, Im not crashing out when watching ads to revive gladiators like some of these other people have said but we have crashed out quite a few times trying to lvl our heros up now. 2- kinda deceitful, they make it seem as if your playing other people in the arena or competing against others fighting the giant beasts but you arent its just bots. You can refresh forever in the arena to try and get a new opponent if you cant fight them but the most any of their power ratings change is maybe a couple hundred which is nothing. Way around this is just toss some heros in with no gladiators, your heros dont die so you can lose the battle down rank a bit and fight a couple more before you cant win again. 3- the scaling is abysmal, the whole game is scaled to you so if you go back to lvl up a blue hero 20 lvls for a challenge or to help against giant beasts it costs just about as much in gold as it does to lvl you gold heros 20 lvls even though theyre 200 lvls above them. Think this is so you spend money to buy more gold but idk. 4-a lot of the top tier heros can only be gotten by playing wonderful activities which comes up later in the game. Basically a little card game where it gives you 9 cards you pay 150 diamonds for your first pick of the day then 300 after that but only like 2 out of the 9 picks are going to be fragments for those top heros. If you going to play we dont recommend trying to hard to get them. That being said Ive still had fun and its occupied a lot of our time Ive definitely spent more money than most will so take that for what you will. Oh and if youre going to play take a look at the gallery early on and try to lvl up the lower things in there early on, we didnt and now we have to wait around until the fragments show up in any of the shops before we can upgrade.
We found a bug were it gave us negative money we were spamming the training buttons one it glitched but other than that fun game.
Nice Gladiatorial game. Been enjoying it but am now getting constant connection and network errors which cost us both fighters and goods. This has been happening since the update. Where exactly can we get the revive potions so as to save ourselves a bit of grief.
Camera during battle is terrible, pretty much the same thing over and over, unrealistic price for spending real money you want more than cod for the season pass.
We never write reviews, but we want the devs to fix this game. The game would be 5 stars if it didnt crash 24/7. It crashes so much especially during ads too where youre trying to revive some of your gladiators, but since it crashes, you permanently lose your character which is really messed up. The crashing and lag is rage inducing and honestly prevents us from playing and spending money.
Game crashes about every 15 minutes. Otherwise its fun, progression is fair. Spent $3 on the legendary starter pack, havent faced any real challenge thru 9 coliseums. Fix the game crashing issues and Ill fix this review.
We love the game. The monetization is fair, game play is great. The network has a lot of issues. Half of the time we cant even play the game because it has to reconnect every 5 seconds. We know this is not an issue with our phone or internet because it only affects this game. If not for the game breaking connection issues, Id give it 4 stars. Unfortunately we cant give a good rating to a game we cant even play.
We accidentally clicked okay and wasnt able to change our name how do we change it.
There are many bugs and if your a little dumb like us and spend real money you will regret it. They dont even try to fix the game. We contacted support multiple times and got nothing. No reply support or our money back. The game freezes constantly and you have to reset and it loves to do it during adds. Dont spend real money or you will loose it.
So Im in chapter nine and Im on battle 8-1 or something and in order to level up to six u have to beats stage 4-5od something around there and we already did but we wont level up so Im stuck.
Sadly this game has us stuck at level 4-2 after our beast died, and we have no way to get past it now, unfortunately theres no support or help menu that we can find do in sadly stuck here until we can hopefully get some kind of help Game seems fun so far but cant tell u for sure since Im stuck.
The graphics and animations was cool when we started but then after you get high level, the game will lag you out always. So we deleted the game. It wasnt worth the time to keep trying to restart the game. Cant even level characters bc game will always lag you out. Dont waste your time on this game like we did. Rather play DragonVale fr. They contacted us about trying to fix the game issues and how and whats happening but naw. Let the game bug. Dont waste other peoples time.
Unless you like dealing with constant crashes that lead to lost arena battles and lost gold you are trying to collect. Move on to a different idle game.
We did the tutorial but it said to update the game to a new version and its very updated on the way can you fix that so we can buy some more thanks.
Honestly the game is just a chill game like you can play whenever you want, and we mean it. There are a few things that can be improved but thatll come as the game progresses through out time. One slight recommendation for the game we have is adding more heros and units to each rarity and making different summons for different types of units that would of course cost most then regular opens, adding on to what we previously said you should add rarity summons. Another thing that would help people find the game more engaging is 2v2 co-op battles, and clans since then you can enjoy playing the game along side friends.-our honest review of the game, we havent gotten to far into it but Im enjoying our self right now.

Not gonna lie Ive played a ton of idle games but this one has so much to do all the time! And the ads arent pop up theyre optional which makes playing the game so much more enjoyable. We actually choose to watch the ads daily to get the free gems. So much fun battling and upgrading our gladiators.
We love this game and we want to keep playing it for a long time.
This game is by far one of IF NOT the best game Ive played. Its not like any other game or developers! They dont create games for income and they listen to their players! Literally no ads ever pop up.

We think the game is fun and entertaining, we do have an idea though. Maybe there could be relics? Imagine having a separate game mode where you could collect relics and use them for your team. Not limited to a single game mode but the campaign and arena. Certain relics would benefit certain types of troops.
Everytime we go to upgrade a hero the game freezes and closes.
Ads, specifically Merge Stories, will now allow you to return back to the game. You therefore lose whatever youre trying to wait out the ad for. Lost a number of revives due to this. Its the only advertisement that pops up on our game also. Outside of that, decent game so far.
That can take away the blood from the game.
Was having decent run until a video crash made us lose a gold gladiator. Shouldnt lose high rank gladiators which cost diamonds to recruit over a game ad crash.
We liked the idea behind it and how its set up so far but we really didnt appreciate how the custom summon basically glitches out so your force to skip or abandon.

We went in with high hopes and after a day of playing we realized theres really not much to do in this game. You make your gladiators fight to earn scrolls so that you can buy more gladiators. 99% of the time youll get the same 5 gladiators. Its basically a clicking game, you dont really do anything other than press the battle button and wait. If your team has more power then youll win, if they have less then youll lose. Thats pretty much the whole game.
We have not even been able to play the game. Every time Ive tried to open it, it says server configuration failed. Ive deleted and reinstalled the app but it hasnt fixed it.
This game has been unplayable all day. Network error, restoring connection, network error. Why even play this if it is so full of bugs you cant even play it and lose progress. Very frustrating.
We have lost alot of good fighter because of the glitches and been kicked out the game for the last time.
This is a really fun game and would get more stars if it actually worked. The game is very unstable especially with the ad system. It crashes all the time for no reason at all. Its constantly trying to reconnect to the server stops working, sometimes to the point our device is completely unresponsive until the battery dies and we can restart the device. The game is surprisingly fun for an idle game but until its fixed we guess the $4.99 we spent on it is just another case of wasted money on another mobile game that doesnt work. Maybe someday a company will care about customers over profits. Dont misunderstand, the game is really fun and well designed when it works, which isnt very often. So, if you dont mind the headaches then download this game and enjoy. Hope it works for you.
Merge stories wont even give us the option to close out and so we have to restart the app every time and its a horrible endless cycle.
We were playing the game for a few days and we loved the game. The only reason there arent five stars is because, now, when we open the game, the loading screen pops up, says loading, and then we can hear the gladiators training in the background as well as the game music, but the loading screen wont go away and we cant do anything to get rid of it. We tried pressing the Game Repair button but that did nothing. We also uninstalled and redownloaded the game and it is having the same problems.
Game constantly crashes during any activity. They like to play ads multiple times only to not pay out on the reward. Almost every time we earned a morale boost the game would crash and reset it. Customer service is a joke and gives boilerplate responses to game breaking issues.
