The gameplay itself is alright, it is like plague inc but with religions instead to change the flavor of the game with some added abilities for each religion thrown in. It honestly is fine, would probably give it a 3 1/2 to 4 stars if not for one bug that has completely ruined the game. Ive encountered some strange glitch that has made part of the text turn to Russian in the menus and whenever we open the menu to buy traits for our religion, we lose access to every menu that should be there as they all disappear. In addition, population numbers also freak out as the numbers all got sent to the maximum whenever we attempt to look at a states or even the worlds population.
So we love the game and have beaten all the religions on the hardest difficulty. But now that Im on the cothulu cult we cant seem to figure out what to do after using the monoliths to spawn the pentagram. Its there. The green flames are over Carthage but idk if Im missing something or if thats everything.
Suddenly in newest update everything unlocked and shop disappeared. This is annoying because it mean the Bubbles auto collect which takes fun out of it. We think this is a bug so please fix ASAP. Other than that solid game and would recommend as a casual game.
If youre playing just to beat it then its probably not the game for you. There are a lot of options to develop your cult/religion and you can play the same mode differently multiple times. You just have to READ. For a free game Im not disappointed at all. Bonus points because Im a nerd for religious studies. We think the design of the game UI being similar to Plague Inc gives the impression that its meant to be played the same way but the strategy is not the same. Its also not that hard, even on the hardest mode its completely beatable. It could have more, but again, its literally free. Cant complain.
Hook us up with some modern support here and add controllers.
We like the game and all and we play on the easiest mode and we still CANT win please update it and FIX it.
Its alright, played 4 games on the hardest difficulty and Im not sure someone could lose at this. Its also very cartoony, a personal dislike of ours. Itll kill about 10 mins of your time and then youll never look back. Wouldnt say its particularly worth it.
Really great game just wonder if they could add a lot more options and a lot more detail for the religions and cults. Also more events.

We finished it, beating it with all religions on the hardest mode in one day. It was fun and relaxing, with kinda interesting and cool development options. Good game for the price but it would be nice if there were more than 3 things that can be adjusted as far as attributes, and the help/tutorial and explanations are way too brief or missing things.
This game is fun and if there was an option to have multiple people with different religions competing it would make the game so much better.
The game is great, but . It would be better is you could choose to compete between 1, 2, or 3 other religions.
We used to love this game and just rediscovered it a few days ago. Every time we try to open the app it crashes. Pleaseeee help us fix this so we can play.
We went into this thinking it would have a lot of ads and be boring, but we were happily surprised. Its a fun plague inc like game.
We give this 5 stars because its the PERFECT GAME FOR CHRISTIANS!! Like us (lol). We love this game so much, its so entertaining. We definitely recommend it. Trust the mighty lord. Amen. Praise the Lord.

We like the gist of this game, it feels like another spin on Plague Inc. We had to play the game a couple of times to really find out what about the game we feel needed to be changed. This game def doesnt hold your hand & explain much. Yea you can figure it out as you play but that goes back to, us having to play the a game a couple of times to even learn it. What if the next individual doesnt even want to learn how to play & is just over it after a few attempts, without even a walkthrough of the game? We feel as if this game is not challenging enough. There are certain areas of the game that are well thought out & others that needs more attention & interaction. It feels as if there is no real opposition when it comes to challenges you encounter along the way. We went ahead & did buy the premium, we enjoy the game but def feel as if this game can be expanded on.

Do not expect the mechanics of the game to make sense with the story. Our biggest complaint is that in Plague Inc the race against a cure makes sense while in Religion Inc the race against Atheism is non-sensical. In our most recent game, about 95% of the world believed in our religion and of those over 3/4 were enlightened or fanatics. There were clear and obvious manifestations of divine power in the world. Yet somehow the moment that the atheism meter reached 100% the game ended in failure.
The mechanics dont make sense. Very hard to win there arent many ways to win seems just one set way. Bad game good concept.
This is a really legit religion simulator we think. Ive enjoyed this app for SO LONG this has been a wonderful way to relax and to gather thoughts. Ive now become so much more comfortable and at peace that we feel amazing. Totally a cool app. Love it.
We love this game and ive been playing it for about 20 minutes however we found that the audio does not work for us. We have restarted, enabled and disabled audio etc to no avail. We dont think it should cost money to speed up time but you got to make money somehow. Very splendid game though with much more color and vibrance and interactiveness than its predecessor.
Its a good game but yesterday it suddenly stopped working in the middle of the game, we dont understand why and would like for it to be fixed. Whenever we open it now it shows the world, but we cant do anything.
It is plague inc. But with religions and it is amazing. Developers did a great job and continue to provide effective updates and patches.
A great idea of a game which Ive been looking for, for a while. There are games like this but in our opinion this is the best of them, Good job to the dev.

Its a good game,Ill give it that, but the first Religion you get is perfect, and that Religion is Monotheism, Christianity is Monotheism, every other Religion in the game is unstable and not able to do well, the religions provided should be balanced and have their ups and downs, not just the single religion that is the form of Christianity, so we recommend giving Religions some balance with the others.
We purchased the premium plus package when we first downloaded the game sometime last month. Im not sure if its a bug with the recent updates, but when we went to play the game all of our premium+ perks werent there. We couldnt restore our purchase and we ended up repurchasing. Ive never had an app do this to us and we would really appreciate it if someone could reach out to us! We really love the game Im just kind of upset and very confused about not being able to restore our purchase and having to repurchase.

It keeps not working for some odd reason. If anyone could help us with this we would be happy. But for our real review. It is a good game asides it just not working so thats why you got a 3 star. But anyways. Could be better.
This game is very pretty but lacks any actual element of play. It is also riddled with typos.
It wasnt polished. Charge money for the ad removal and now youve removed the ads? Psh.
It would be way cooler if the world developed more over time and changed. It is pretty basic and a copy of plague inc.
We can no longer achieve a win, even if the world is full of believers, or even if everyone is enlightened. If we cant win we cant unlock other religions which is the whole reason we would continue to play. Hope this can be fixed soon.
We are having issues getting through the tutorial. The back button will disappear or when it tells us to choose a new tab, it wont let us actually select it.
Honestly just a worse version of Plague Inc in every way. Confusing and unfinished gameplay elements. Seems like most of the good reviews are fake too.
Converted the world to 100% fanatics and game came to a standstill. Wasted time until atheism developed. Still lost the game and unclear why. Please explain or fix the victory conditions An excellent concept and looking forward to further development.
The way the map is laid out, the countries and game play happens underneath the menus on the edges and you cant move or scroll the map to see whats happening underneath.
Game is fun but Ive gotten the entire world enlightened but still havent won. Atheism just keeps rising somehow and we lose every time.
We like to play our games without ads, so we like to pay developers to do this. After trying to click the fast forward button, we were met with a prompt for premium or premium +, both for $10. We tried clicking on +, as it offered everything premium had but more, for the sane price. No luck, while the button is pressed, nothing came of it. Alright, we thought, maybe you have to have premium first. So we go to select that button instead. Same deal. We guess you dont want our money at this point.
Wheres the other religions tho? Ive beaten it twice on novice and priest but still dont have the other religions.
A bit like virus company, but it feels better when we no longer kill people through developing virus.
This is a very fun game but gets repetitive quick due to the lack of different game modes. Im very excited for future updates and the addition of new types of religions. We also ask that the boundaries are slightly bolder so we can differentiate the regions.
First up the obvious and unpleasant: this game is clearly inspired ( to put it mildly ) by Plague Inc. On top of that we could swear the map uses elements from Godus. Ok, now for the game. The premise is mildly interesting, but it doesnt feel fully ready/ balanced. It took us several tries to win a game on the lowest difficulty. We found the active powers to be confusing and not super easy to use. Some of the in game mechanics feel like a mystery to us. The distinction between fanatics and enlightened is also not clearly explained, and to be honest Im still not sure what it is. There is also a concept explained in the tutorial that conflicting ideologies will increase tension, but we have no idea how to tell if that has happened. There also appears to be some missing text in power descriptions based on what we saw in the update log, where some powers should boost superstition ( Plague Inc mutations ) and others should reduce it. Beyond polish and balance we think this game could set itself apart by leaning into the knowledge aspect. Showing historical tribes and cultures on the map is a nice touch. Pairing these and powers with blips of historical context, or even just Wikipedia links, might help that aspect shine.
Ive been playing for a whole day now and still havent won a single time, even on the lowest difficulty its as if its a puzzle constantly trying to find out which skill not to use and how to slow down atheism, Ive gotten the world almost 100% converted but the rate of atheism would increase so fast we couldnt acquire enough points to counter in time, we enjoy the gameplay and pace but it shouldnt be this difficult in our opinion.
Ive played for about two hours and can not win this game on the easiest difficulty. The tutorial needs to be a bit more detailed and explain how to combat atheism. This game is VERY similar to pandemic, the map, the upgrade menu, and transmissions are practically the same. This game put a new skin on pandemic. We still see promise. Please add more ways to win and make it easier or put the player in a game for the tutorial in which you guide them along to a victory.
All our friends want the game but we keep telling them to wait until more stuff gets added because with the only 1 game option we have right now and it taking us and several other people 10 tries to even beat the game we think the game is way too hard and needs way more options than just the one it has would give more stars if it have more options in the game.
This game has a very interesting base. Start your own religion and unite the world. As with the real world this hasnt happened at all and the game makes it feel realistic with converting people. The game is fun and cool at first but the more we played the more frustrated we got. First, religion points are to sparse and they take to long to arrive. Once you get them you have to buy aspects to convert but the pieces are 1) high to start and 2) only increase as the game goes along. This is a game first and foremost so having this part of the game, a fundamental part, being problematic can make for a short game both playing and for the company. Second, once you get the atheism counter going, you have to perform a Hail Mary, no pun intended, to get the counter down. Adding what you can do to reduce it is a nice touch, but the prices shoot those hopes down. Third and last, is the instructions. Since this is like plague inc, the game follows those patterns easily. However, the austerity and fanaticism aspects are hard to understand. They make it more visible so they bring your atheism counter up but then how to you still unite if there is no time to do so? And why do we have to wait so long for the manifestation part where you can either bless the followers of cast judgement on the non believers? Make it more access earlier and that could help the conversion status. Overall, this game needs to be put in the oven just a little bit more because right now the cake is still a little raw on the inside.
