Can we just pay a few bucks to get rid of the ads? We know there arent many but still annoying.
On an iPhone the app doesnt always show wind direction due to the apple phone camera area. So we have to guess where to aim the ball. It is affecting our score.
Ive had the game for over a year now and enjoy playing it. The amount of ads seem to be getting worse and more annoying. If the volume continues to grow, Ill probably take another look and see if we can find something comparable to play instead. Also, it is impossible to be competitive if you dont by all the gadget balls that have nothing to do with golf. You can shoot a 10 or 11 under and end up in 5th place or worse. Add to the fact that you have ace players playing in tournaments well below their talent level and you have no shot.
We wrote a much more graphic/critical critique of this game a bit earlier but cant seem to find it here. Funny thing we noticed. When you click to leave a review, 1st thing you do is pick the star rating. Then proceed to the writing. However, if youre not paying attention, the app or the game will will automatically switch whatever you starred it as it marks it as a 5 star. Anyway, the game is fun. Butt they make the putting absolutely impossible. Which makes us really ANGRY. Like Hulk Smash Angry. So thats fun.
Ad frequency has increased drastically. Painful to play. Game is fun otherwise.
Game seems good but way to many ads not worth it.
Downloader imbedded in game code makes endless errors iPhone promax 14 , updated and on FIOS wi fi with NO OTHER issues . This game just doesnt play well and has constant splash screen blaming connection while 4 other gold games including UG WGT and Stars all running fine . But OK its users fault.
We get it, you have to pay the bills. Ads that last for over 2 minutes with multiple deceptive xs that are not the end makes several features of the game undesirable.
Decent golf game. Far too many ads. Fair number at start and then as level up fly here are more and more. $5.00 to buy new course adds up. Should have some bundle.
Im 60 but we have two sons that enjoy this game and trying to beat their dad as well as our grandkids. Absolutely enjoy this program. We get to play against people but you dont know as well as be a challenge. Well worth the download.

We do appreciate the challenges. It definitely has its skill levels. Yet, we will log on, sometimes play one hole, and ad, ill play three holes, ad. There is an average of 2 ads per 4/5 holes played. Fact is that just one ad takes longer than playing three to four holes. Of course we know ads are required. We just dont agree with that many.
Game used to be good, but is starting to get boring. Same characters and clothing for years, but recently added items that you need to pay for with real money.
This is truly the best game ever. Super fun to play and never gets old.

Idk why there are so many ads. We play this game all the time, it is just WAY to many ads.
Hey Devs, we play the Daily 9 everyday but there is one feature that is very annoying. We play on a iPhone 15 plus and where you position wind direction on a lot of holes is right under our camera island on our screen making it impossible to see wind direction.
We really enjoyed the game at first. But once you play for a certain amount of time you basically have to spend hundreds of dollars to get to the top end clubs. The only matches we get now are with players that always have max gear.
To selling and when you dont buy you make it even more difficult.
When we were playing this app, they forced us to watch a Monopoly Go ad every 5 minutes. Over and over and over. So we deleted this golf app and installed Monopoly Go, since they wanted us to play it so badly.
The game is a blast, but the ads make us put it down every time. We get it, you need to fund the app. But could you at least limit the number of ads youre stopping the game with or make it easier to close them out once you hit the time limit? At this point we would pay for an ad free experience.
We dont know why you changed the format so you cant purchase full courses with the gold bars that you earned. This is just dumb. Your game used to be playable but now you want our money to play new courses. No thanks.

The game is fun for sure but its impossible for a non payer to get the upper clubs without playing countless hours. Should definitely be some tournaments for higher silver totals at the lower levels.
The game is great but the ads are ridiculous. We dont mind waiting for the ad to finish but once the ad is finished instead of getting back to the game it sends us to the App Store and then back to the ad and sometimes it does this two or three times.
Pretty good game but wish there was more to use money and gold on.

This game is great. We think its the best arcade style golf game on the iPhone not to mention in real life too. Our only issue is we wish there were some shorter game modes. We hope the developers can see this comment and consider some 3-hole style games with cheaper buy-ins and prize pools. Sometimes Im at work and we sneak off the play for just a minute and we wish there was a quicker game mode for these times. We also wish there were more courses but possibly those are slowly being released. 5 out of 5.
Theres no better golf apps. If you liked the arcade Golden Tee back in the day this is it but even better with additional features. We got a few friends to download and its additionally fun.

This game is fun to play. And we all understand you need to make money. But your adds open the APP store as well. Please change that.
We played in bars for a while. Like the game, and its addicting. But its become unrealistic. Guys getting 5 eagles on 9 holes??? Its impossible to compete anymore.
In the game of golf, the object is to get the ball in the hole in as few shots as possible. In this game, getting there stars is quite easy in Novice and Advanced levels while trying to hit the ball as close to the hole as possible on each shot. In the Pro and Expert levels the only ways to score enough points are to hit a hole in one or to hole out on a par four or five or to hit the green on your approach shot but land the ball as far from the whole as possible and miracle put to get the birdie or eagle. Stupid scoring. The exact opposite of the goal in team golf.
The game itself is pretty fun, but youll soon be bombarded with unskippable video ads that run for over a minute and do shady things like fake X to close, and taking you out of the game and launching website and the App Store. Also the game itself is so full of micro transactions that its sickening to constantly be prompted to spend money. Id pay $5-$10 to have a version without ads that tones down the incessant buy buy buy. Sadly that doesnt exist.
In first place with one hole remaining, yet two other so-called players finished two strokes ahead. So both players got eagles on a difficult par 4?? SCAM.
At first we were enjoying the game, there was a lot to do and it kept us busy. But man the ads are brutal. The fact the ads they run take you out of the game to the App Store to download some crappy monopoly game or whatever game they are advertising was the end of it for us. Im not going to click back and forth between the game and the App Store and for that we give this game a 1/5 until they fix that.
