Golf boy is one of our favorite golf games, the way you level up is smooth and fun.
A TON of ads after every hit theres an ad. When you get a rubber ball(red ball) theres a bug that completely freezes the whole game. This app is garbage.
This game is stupid. There is way too many adds. U cant even enjoy playing it b/c of all of them.
Literally every single hit you watch an ad; not to mention the fact that you have to buy everything! So yea dont waste your time on this. Al the other reviews are fake to get coins, its not a 4.9 star game at all.
We understand the freemium model and the need for ads but this is overboard. Literally every shot is followed by a 5-15 second ad. Not even exaggerating. Literally EVERY SHOT. Do yourself a favor and dont download. Besides the ads its not a bad game, disappointing for the devs.
Spend 3/4 of your time watching ads, watch new ones every shot. Oh but for 7.99/week you can play a ONE TOUCH GAME without ads! Get real, devs. Make a one-time purchase game instead of trying to get console-level money for a simple game.
We didnt mind the ads but with ver 1.9 it freezes so often that you end up losing your rewards or you simply cant play the game because its frozen. We recently got a 30X jackpot, then the game froze and we lost out on 4.3 million. Not only that it sometimes wont even let you watch ads if youre willing to. Im done and its been deleted.
We really enjoy the game. Just got it and Im moving along pretty fast. The key is watching ads to get gold balls then waiting to get a hole in one to use jackpot spin. We can go up around 15 levels in each category each time we do that. Just a tip :) love the game and we can see it has enough content to keep us entertained for a while. Also the golfing aspect makes it much better game play than the baseball boy! Game which is what we saw the ad for this while playing.

We got this game to do something mindless on a flight. It was fun. But You spend more time watching ads than playing. Even still, there are only 3 worlds and about 20 golfers. We unlocked them all in about 4 Days. There is nothing more to play for. And weekly subscription??? What a joke.
This game looked fun but it's really not. The ads alone make it bad it's just another marketing scheme to make a quick buck.
You literally watch an ad after every shot.
If you dont like ads, you will definitely not like this game. You spend more time watching the ads than actually playing the game. We couldnt stand it anymore so we just deleted the game. You would be in the middle of playing and then boom, an ad pops up. Its terrible.
When you get the pink ball and your power gets to 500%, the game no longer works. Ball travels a few hundred feet and then floats into water, or the old Baseball Boy bug returns – the playing surface floats away and then the ball repeatedly bounces from top to bottom of screen in the air. Closing and reopening does nothing, the game simply doesnt work anymore.
This is the best game it is so addictive with new things yasssssssxx.
It is very fun and easy and not frustrating and we like that you can increase your power.
Before you skip over this review because its like a mile long, we just want to get one point across. DO NOT GET THE GAME, YOU SPEND MORE TIME WATCHING ADS THAN ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME. Okay, now to begin the criticism. This game is hard evidence of how greedy the game developers are. First of all, its a cheap rip-off of baseball boy, and they cant deny it. Almost everything about the game just screams baseball boy. How there are four upgrades that you can buy, one including strength. The meter to hit the ball is almost EXACTLY the same, except the colors are reversed. The graphics are so similar. Even the name is a copy. We havent even gotten to the ads yet. There are WAY too many ads. As most people know, ads give the game developers money, and this game has a TON of ads. Like we said earlier, we had the game for about ten minutes, and we would say that we spent more time watching ads than actually playing the game. In the middle of a put, an ad will come up. When you buy and upgrade, an ad will come up. Even when it asks you if you want to watch an ad for a boost, and you hit no, it will still give you an ad. As we said, do not get this game, its not worth it.
This game is hard and that is whats best about it it is fun to especially when we make a hole.
Game is fun but any ricochet to the side and anything over 11k in distance and the game can't track the ball, making it impossible to avoid or redirect properly. Also, landing on greens off to the side it shows fairway and in other cases landing on the fairway behind trees it has you putt. Basic game set up but major issues for what should have been an easy development, especially using the same platform as games like baseball boy, etc.
If you love ads, this game is for you, takes 5 seconds to smack the ball down the fairway but usually 30 seconds for an ad to run. The ads run after every shot. Hit triple every time because youre going to have an ad regardless.
$7.99 PER WEEK to turn off ads?!? That's a tad excessive. Maybe ONE payment of $1.99 like most games would be cool. Otherwise, the game is simple and fun if you can tolerate the ad fest.

Deleted within 5 min.. Theres an ad almost every single swing. They want you to pay $8 a week to remove ads.. For what? This simple arcade game? Keep dreaming.

Way too many ads!!!! Very sickening that you have to watch an ad after every other move (or in some cases after every move). We can there being an ad after maybe every 6 or 7 moves, but why every other move.
Update says to include all special balls in the bonus tab? Thats a lie.
- Prefect shots down the middle are designed to land between holes so you can't putt for extra coins. If you don't hit it slightly off center you are wasting your time. – Ball speed has different settings between the driver and putter. At the end of a drive the ball on the green will skip over the hole and stop one block away whereas hit at the same speed with the putter it will go on. Basically designed to not let you get a hole in one. – Use the jackpot spin on a putt in and you will get 20x+ every time. Use it on a hole in one and you will not get more than 10x.
The game is pretty fun but they have WAY too many ads and the only way to get rid of them is to buy the vip for $20/month or $100/year, absolutely ridiculous. Would give it 0 stars if we could.
Immediately the game tries to get you to click start on a page full of fine print, and then begin a $7.99 a week subscription. This seems dishonest, since the initial screen was deceptive and that price is out of league for any services golf boy could provide. If the authors are scammers we will not even play the game, so we deleted it after they wanted to start charging us $32 a month for this free app.
HAHA $7.99 a week???? We literally could get hulu, netflix, hbo go, and another subscription service, and still have money left over! What mentally ill developers think that people would willfully buy this subscription. Only people we see doing this would be little kids who dont know any better. So shame on you developers. Greed is one of the deadly sins. We understand like a flat fee of $2.99 to remove ads, but this is outrageous. Not the only app Ive seen do this, apple needs to fix or ban greedy developers like this. HAHA we still cant believe you have to get a subscription of $7.99 a week just to play a stupid Iphone game. 1 star, strongly dissatisfied. Go download another game like soccer kick, dont bother downloading this.

This game is basically the golf version of baseball boy. Its fun, and a great way to waste time. The 4.99 tag to remove ads is a bit high, but you do get 600 gems for it. Overall a great time game if you want something that requires little skill.
The game is fine, Id be more than willing to pay a one time fee to get rid of adds. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to institute a subscription model at a price higher than what Id pay once is crazy.
This game has great potential to be really enjoyable, but unless you pay an absurd amount for a subscription, you have an add every 10 seconds. It is unplayable unless you want to dump tons of money into it.
This game has replayability of about 15 minutes if you can get past the ads that it makes you sit through after nearly every stroke. Save yourself the data and dont install.
The game itself is a lot of fun but had to delete. Cant stand the advertisements every two hits, thats absolutely ridiculous.
Good until you get a red ball and you have a power over level 100 and it starts to hit negative numbers and not actually give you any money for the shots. Once you get to level 100 everything, the games pointless, you hit the ball so far that 99.999% of the time, you hit a tree and then water. Even if you hit dead center in perfect.
There is an ad every 10 seconds. More ads than gameplay.
You should be able to putt from wherever. And the game should reward a Perfect swing more than it does. The meter also seems inconsistent. You could hit the same shot and the ball lands somewhere different every time even when you dont upgrade or change power/speed/bounce.
Good game, but every time we use a red ball, the game glitches and we have to exit and restart.
Maps are underdeveloped. Anytime we hit more than 11,000ft the ball goes under the map.
We built a lot of levels and tried to change worlds, one the new world we started back at the beginning on the new world. We switched back to the first world and had to start over on the first world that had the higher levels. Stupid game and Ive deleted the game because of this. Just came here to let others know.
Its just a big copy, it has the same style, and powers, be creative.
We will change our one star after you guys give us our balls back when we hit the red balls that we purchased they go up and then the game glitches and they dont come back down its happened with our gold balls in our red balls multiple times.
Cant always select jackpot or 3x and when you can it doesnt register. Sometimes you can only select collect and it plays an ad anyway. Too many ads for a game that you can optionally select them. Uninstalling.
The game is mostly just ads – after every other shot or every shot, theres a video you have to watch. And the ads are also what slows down the game and makes it laggy. Without them the game would be okay, but since theres no option to remove them without buying a membership, the game is just dominated by advertisements.
