Really fun game to kill time but we paid for no ads and still getting ads. Other than that, simple and fun game.
Its awesome and has good music. Its cool how you can play user created levels.
This game is great. Its simple. Its fun. Its not too hard. Its not too easy. Its a perfect balance of a lot of features that many people will like. Featuring custom player-made courses is genius. However, there are some additions that could put this game way over the top. For one, although we love creating holes to play, we want the ability to put them together as a playable 9 hole course. These could be shared with friends and would be a lot of fun to compete with one another on. This would allow people to recreate real life courses, as well as ones of their own imagination. Besides this, this is by far our favorite golf game on the App Store. Wonderful job.
We paid to remove ads but they still play every time we open the app.
This is a fun relaxing single player golf app. There are a few annoying bugs, we paid for no ads but sometimes when we start the app we get an adI hate the option to view an ad when you get a bogey and replay the holeI paid for no ads, so no ads please. There are only four courses, hopefully more are coming. You can create courses and share/play other peoples courses that is great.
Nice game but every time we start the app we have to remove the ads again. Already paid to remove the apps. Please fix. Otherwise fun time killer.

We honestly enjoy this game but it is absolutely unplayable with ads so we paid for no ads and legit the day after we paid for it we get ads on it. Really irritating we kinda expect a refund or fix soon.
Like the game, just what we were looking for in a simple golf game. Went ad free but now thats not loading when we start the app. We get a couple of holes in, have to sit through an ad and then have to go restore purchases. This is very frustrating, especially being less than 24 hours into it. Will rate higher if this is corrected.
Update: abandonware. Not touched in three years! Deleted. – The swing/power indicator is fine for everything EXCEPT putting. Its impossible to sink short puts as you can touch fast enough to make close puts! The actual game action is adequate but thats it. Aiming physics needs to behave like it does on the map. On the main view the aiming isnt sensitive enough. You overshoot. Putting is terrible. The scale is wrong. It behaves like driving does. You cant hit the ball softly on a 3 put. 2 stars as too many things dont work on iPhone 12 on iOS 17.5.1. Fix these things and Ill buy it.
We loved the game so much that we payed to remove the ads. Now every time we open the app the ads are back and we have to restore purchase to remove them again. Very frustrating. Either fix this or give us our money back please.
Constant aiming adjustment as it doesnt auto align with the hole for each shot. Also very difficult to gauge distance using the shot meter compared to all other games. Makes it less fun.
We just saw a new course shaped like 2 people having sex doggy style! This App rated age 4+? What is the review process for adding course holes? If not removed and better review procedures put in place we will deleted this app.
Paid the $3 to remove ads. Works sometimes, but most of the time we still get ads very few holes. Very annoying.
Imagine that. Pay money through a service that doesnt offer refunds for a service it doesnt deliver on. We paid to remove ads, but the things just keep popping up. Over and over when Im playing as normal. Unreal. Enjoy the game, dont pay for the service to remove ads. It doesnt. They wont.

Graphics look old school. A fun game.
This is exactly what we wanted. Well made. Simple. We looked for about an hour at all the mobile gold games; this one is perfect, its just the thing youre looking for. It gladdens our heart.
More courses needed but honestly a perfect game in our opinion.. Helps the time go by.. Its stimulating and quite difficult at times which we kinda like.. Great game.
Out of the majority of golf games on the App Store, Golfing Around is not bad. The simplistic style and controls go well together, and the ability to create and share custom maps is certainly a plus. However, the game does have some frustrating moments. These moments often appear in the form of estimating where/how far the ball will travel when choosing a club (while this is unique feature, it often doesnt matter as the game sometimes doesnt correctly estimate the ball distance). We dont want to complain too much, as this is a free application, but it can be frustrating when trying to play. PS: If we paid to remove advertisements from the application, then we shouldnt have to watch an ad to reset a hole; we should be able to do it as many times as Id like.
For making such a fun little golf game. We prefer this kind of golf game over the for real simulations. Took us a bit to figure out what to do, but now that we have, we think this may be our favorite game of yours (and we have several). PS: Ahem, the glowing review was based on the first course. The other two are ridiculously difficult, and we spent a frustrating amount of time in the rough, water, sand. Then we learned to change clubs. But as others have said, it still can be hard to judge the power of your swing and where the ball is going to end up. All in all, we liked it enough to buy the ad opt out. We've played NES Open on the NES, Ultra Golf on the Gameboy, Mario Golf on the GBC, and Mario Golf Advance Tour on the GBA. We're always looking for something similar in terms of golfing mechanics for mobile devices. This game comes pretty close to being as enjoyable as those other games (at least for a quick pick-up-and-play experience). It's still a bit more on the casual side of things, and hardcore golfers might not like its simplicity. We would love to see a few more additions like slopes on the greens, and more risk vs reward when hitting through trees. The trees are fake in this game and you bounce back as if it were a concrete wall. Everything else is pretty good. It's similar to wii sports golf in that you have one wood, one iron, one wedge, and a putter. The amount of power you give the swing determines whether it goes the distance of a 5 iron or a 9 iron. We think we will keep it because the other golf games on the app store have a magical ability to piss us off in ways we cannot describe. It's free, so there's nothing to lose.

We love the game and how you can make your own holes, but we wish you could make your own course and either make it public or keep it to yourself. Thats our only beef with this game. Often makes us delete it at times. But its still fun nonetheless.
Great game lots of fun , so much fun in fact we jumped the gun to remove the ads, turns out anytime you go over par they ask you to watch an ad or live with the shot, the solution is to get better, but after purchasing ad free we dont think we should need to make that decision.
Our single gripe with the game, after paying for ad removal, is having three chances to restart your current hole and then being forced to view an ad. In a way, we feel a bit cheated out of the ad-free purchase we made. Our request to the developer: make it COMPLETELY Ad-free for those of us who choose to pay for it. Aside from that, its a really enjoyable game, and the option of courses available online are an extra bonus.

PLEASE get rid of the AD for an AD whenever you go over par! Annoying. We PAID NOT to have ANY ads, and youre still throwing up an option to view an AD! Which might as well be an AD OF ITS OWN. NO ADS SHOULD MEAN NO ADS. PLEASE REFUND.
Curious as to why this app is pulling data from our iOS clipboard when it launches.
First, let us say this a fun game that we mightve given 4 stars. But we dont enjoy being taken advantage of. We paid the $2.99 to remove the ads but 2 things still happen. First, the game still makes you click on the ad icon to reset a shot. We dont get an ad, but how lazy was it to not change the program for the paying customers? Second, after 3 resets on a hole we STILL HAVE TO WATCH AN AD! The developers idea of ad-free apparently differs from ours. For 3 bucks we should never see an ad or even the word ad again.

Simple, straightforward and challenging golf. A little tough at first to get used to but we think this game is more fun than any of the realistic games Ive played (WGT, etc.). A total blast.
This is such a fun game. 5 stars! Only a couple small things we would like to see. 1. Reset hole button at the bottom of the screen rather than tapping … To get there. 2. A small | at the top of the power bar to indicate center. Very minor additions that we feel would make it even better. Great job guys.
The games mechanics are simple but absolutely phenomenal. Hole creator works wonderfully and gameplay is smooth as can be. Our only gripe is a lack of any multiplayer support. This game is a must have.

Love the simple, clean, almost Jony Ive-ish design of this cute golf game. Great fun, we love the little touches, like the fluffy floating clouds overhead, and the ducks paddling in the waters. Consider yourself Fore!-tunate to have this one.
Ive been playing golf games since we were a wee lad and this one is the perfect design. The controls are great and even though it has a fun cartoony style it still FEELS like golf. They did a great job with that. Golf games with good controls and the right feel are the ones you keep playing. Im looking forward to many more rounds in this rad little game. Great design.
