The graphics and story are beautiful. The story is very abstract, but somehow you feel a connection. The mechanics are unique. It can be hard to figure out what you need to do, but it always makes sense once you do.
Absolute perfection start to finish. Clever, just tricky enough, story is wonderfully inventive and interesting. Ive never seen anything like this before. If you like Monument Valley, youll love this game. We thought MV was our favorite but this is now our #1. We cant wait to play it again.

This game is soo good, we wish everyone could try it; there is nothing else like it. The story is abstract, but it is an experience you wont forget. Although the puzzles/story doesnt change, Ive still replayed it numerous times now: It is like a work of art that you keep visiting, because each time you savor it, you peel back more layers. We highly recommend this game to everyone, but: 1. Dont expect the story to make perfect sense; it is like a dream. 2. Its relatively short; we would love a sequel. 3. We cant say enough good things about this game just try it.

Im not an interactive game player by habit, however we read an intriguing review and was curious to learn more. We struggled cat first because we lack a practiced game player mindset, yet we love puzzles, have a curious nature, and a bit analytical. This puzzle world enthralled us. Once we started to get into the groove and style of the game we couldnt put it down. If youre a seasoned game player you may find it too light. For the rest of us, we loved the story, the graphics and the puzzles.

If you just finished playing The Rooms and The House of Da Vinci, this game has a very different approach but it has the same fundamental in puzzle solving (the same type of brain twisting fun). You will need to put 3D perspective aside and think in 2D term. The game puts you in 2D comic book environment and you go from there. You rearrange and overlaying the comic book panels until the specific puzzle is solved within the panel and then you move on to the next puzzle. The story telling is unique because they are all pictures and no words. You are able to get the hints of your next task by reading the characters thoughts. Once you understand how it works, the game is actually very good and challenging.
A seemingly innocent look outside the window in a brightly lit afternoon opens a spiritual journey into a war torn city. The story spans a life time (read about this as we just reached blue chapter). There is no better way to tell such story, via framed art & movable story book like panels. The innovative game mechanism, the beautiful art work, the exquisitely illustrated atmosphere, cityscape, and various objectsa deeply touching subjectwhat not to love? There is nothing like this as we have been actively searching for all (noted) hand drawn style puzzle games. This should be the future. Not only we play, we think. Maybe because we realized the heaviness of the subject underneath it all, we can only play a little a bit at a time. We got stuck at one place so far as its requiring a completely new way to piece things together, not sure if same play is ever used later. A good wine is to be savored. We are hoping thered be more in the making. We found this game only after a much delayed iPad upgrade so a huge catch up. There is no rush but this needs carried on.

Ive debated buying this game for such a long time, we regret we did! We guess we thought this game would be too easy for us, but we were so wrong. Its not so difficult that its unsolvable without hunting for answers on the interwebz, but it sure does require a lot of creative thinking and exploration to figure it out, and there is no redundancy in how each chapter is played. This game is so incredibly well done in all ways! It definitely feels very solemn & a little depressing, but in a solid way & wouldnt have it any other way. After we completed the game, we desperately started seeking out other games like this one, and couldnt find one …so now Im depressed. PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE! Ill buy them all! EXCELLENT JOB, DEVELOPERS! Bravo.

This is one of the best puzzle games Ive played. The concept is original, the graphics are beautiful and sound and story make for a great game.
This is an amazing, hand-drawn work of art. It can be confusing at times, and often seems to make no sense, but just play. Let go of your logical side and embrace the art. Most of the clues involve paying attention to details in the pictures, while simply trying something new. The game is less game and more experience. But the draw (if youll pardon the pun) is the beauty. Its well worth the time and money.
The graphics are lovely. The puzzles definitely require thinking in new ways. They get slightly repetitive but minor complaint only. Didnt take us long to finish. Not quite The Room series but definitely worth it.

One of the most beautiful games we've ever played, and definitely the most unique. And the story is melancholy but very sweet…we played through several times before we got some of the more nuanced aspects of it. Some of the puzzles can be pretty challenging but the game is so gorgeous that we never felt bored or frustrated by it. We wish the designer would make more of these, but we also feel like they wouldn't be quite the same – this is definitely one of a kind.
We generally dont like to play iPhone games. But we want to find something we hold our attention and take us out of this world when we wish to relax. This game is fascinating intricate full mystery and stimulating to the imagination. It is also enigmatic and stimulates wonder. We have never sought out iPhone apps based on the publisher… But we will be looking for more games by the folks. BRAVO.

Gorgeous… Absolutely gorgeous… Everything from the graphics to the story line to the original gameplay mechanics this game has delivered much more than we expected and Im genuinely surprised by the amount of creativity and ingenuity present in the game… What an experience.
Our partner and we just played through this game and found ourselves consistently impressed. The puzzles are beautiful and so delightful in how they connect to one another. The art work is gorgeous. The mechanics are simple and easy to pick up, yet the puzzles remain sufficiently challenging. Will be looking for similar games in the future.
This game is just the right amount of challenging and we literally played through it non stop to completion. We couldnt put it down! It takes a few minutes to figure out what to do but as soon as you realize what to do, its a magical experience! This is a must if you like puzzle games.

Think outside the box. Things connect in a smooth flow but not the usual way. There are clues shown but they are a matter of interpretation. Once you get it, your brain has that aha moment! Challenging yes, enough where you just have to go on to find the connection. You dont want to give up because the scenes are so original and beautiful. Jason has created one of the best games! We have to say we were so engulfed by the game, that we finished so quickly. It wasnt to difficult that we wanted to quit and it wasnt too easy that we got bored. The graphics are beautiful. Only wish it didnt end. Hope you guys put out more games like this with different stories and challenges.
So first off, this game is visually stunning. We mean, truly beautiful. Honestly our only complaint is that we want another game like this and there isnt one out there. Its a wonderfully challenging puzzle game (we definitely had to google how to beat some of the levels ) but that doesnt take away from the fun of the discovery when you get the right pieces in place and the whole thing comes to life. We cant recommend it enough. Please please make more games like this.

We like puzzles, so it was a no-brainer (ha) to buy this. We loved the sometimes challenging puzzles, and the lack of explanation. Even when we felt stuck, we didnt feel frustrated. It was a beautiful world to hang out in.
We read about this in yesterdays NYTimes article about video games taking the edge off. What a satisfying way to spend a Sunday morning- beautiful, clever puzzles and interactions. Like many reviewers, we happily await more.
